Roco Beyoglu Hotel ROCO Beyoglu

Excellent hotel for good price run by lovely, welcoming people. Very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had a balcony room which was so comfortable, bathrobes and slippers were a luxury unexpected surprise. Housekeeping did a good job every day refreshing towels and drinks. We highly recommend and would stay again.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. I also appreciated the great service and attention to detail. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Booked directly with the hotel at a better price and booked our airport transportation with them (€50) as well which was convenient.
Pros:
-Reception staff and cleaner spoke good English and were very helpful with everything we asked.
-2 minutes walk to Taksim square  where we got our buses from and 3 minutes from Istiklal street.
-Mini market and pharmacy just next to the hotel.
-Very good internet connection.
-Spacious room (TV, fridge,   towels, shampoo & shower gel, slippers available)
-2 sets of pillows.
Cons:
-The hair dryer is very weak and if you have long hair it will take a while to dry them (maybe you should bring your own)
-In the shower there is no space to leave your soap etc.
-There are black out curtains but they don't close very good together,   so we had to close them with hair clips. We also got eye masks since we are sensitive to the light.
-We read the reviews about the noise so we were prepared with earplugs and this issue was not an issue anymore!
-If you are a new couple and still embarrassed of each others toilet noises,   please note that the toilet door is right next to the bed and you can hear everything.
In general I loved it and would stay there again if I came to the area.

It is really nice hotel to stay for a while. It is located near metro Taksim, so it’s easy to get to.
Any place. The service was really good. The administrator kindly helped me with my delivery 🤌🏻 My room was clean and good prepared, so I would recommend this hotel.

I highly recommend it. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the Taksim district and close to all transportation. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, and the rooms are spotless. We’ll definitely come back! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
What I didn’t appreciate was the noise from people using the stairs or walking above us.
However, this issue can easily be solved by using earplugs.

Room is okay. Spacey. Clean. However, service is bit meh. When we are checking in, one of the staff mistaken us with diff people. So confusing with the room changed. Take around 30 minute just to check in. And he cannot speak english. But when we want to check out the next day different staff at the counter. He can speak fluently. And I think its just our luck is bad. Checking in during 9 pm like that.

I was tricked by the star rating and reviews which I don’t understand how could be given to this low quality hotel. Where to start?
Area: the worst part of Taksim area, very messy, dirty and unsafe part of Taksim.
Hotel reception: unfriendly and aggressive.
Lobby and facilities: no existing.
Rooms: out of order and lots of technical issues. In my room’s case: curtains worn out and not covering the light. Bidet not working. Shower head damaged. Floors and wall very thin and transferred noise very clearly, couldn’t sleep even with earplugs. Cheap pillow and bedding, very uncomfortable bed. Bad smell of cigarettes everywhere in the building.
Customer Service: very bad. The receptionist aggressively banged on my door when I had a visitor to get their ID. My friend was coming for a short visit and we both walked past the reception. The receptionist did not say anything about ID. Later he came to the door and aggressively knocked on the door. Made us very uncomfortable and worried, as normally nobody bangs your hotel room like that. Rooms don’t even have a phone.
Due to severe issues and discomfort, asked for cancellation and they didn’t accept. I had to book another hotel and pay twice, as they refused to return my money for the 6 nights that I didn’t even use the room and returned the key. I contacted Expedia and the hotel receptionist and manager did not provide contact details of the hotel owner to Expedia as they didn’t want to return the money.

I am very satisfied staying here, the location is very strategic near the taksim square, the staffs are very nice & helpful, they helped us to get vehicle for our transportation with a good price. The room is very clean & comfortable, very recommended budget hotel 👍

I stayed at Roco Beyoglu for four nights at the beginning of August. I can't fault anything, the room was comfortable and clean, service was amazing and in a perfect location — not even two minutes walk to Taksim Square but far enough away to be away from the noise. Also felt very safe walking by myself, even at night. All of the staff are lovely and very helpful, the turkish coffee is great and I really appreciated all the help with booking transport and experiences. I would definitely recommend and will happily stay again.

Very friendly and humble staff! We paid only 50$/day & they upgraded us as well free of charge, ad a honeymoon gift. The location is perfect near Taksim Square. The rooms are spacious, they feel warm & cozy. Rooms are cleaned everyday. The staff arranged VIP airport transfer to SAW at a great price.

First of all, thank you so much for all "ROCO Beyoglu" TEAMS for the great stay in their hotel. It was really place to stay with their facility, location, services and their generous hospitality.

Honestly, I was scared and nervous coming here as a female solo traveler, however, once I got here, this has got to be one of the best places I have stayed at. During my time, I felt extremely safe. All staff I encountered were super hospitable. Any questions I had, they were more than willing to help me find an answer quickly. On top of that, my room was cleaned on a daily basis. It can get noisy hearing the traffic or foot step from inside, but it was something I could tolerate. The hotel also offered many tours for a great price and I regret not taking advantage of it. Very close walk to many places. Just be aware and cautious as a tourist to not be taken advantage by the scams that can occur around the area (but that has nothing to do with the hotel). I would stay here again by myself or with my family as recommend this place to everyone.

I am so grateful to Arris for being so hospitable, kind and welcoming. I recommend that anyone looking for a great hotel, should stay here. The room was phenomenal, easy to get to the main street in Taksim, and Arris is really a gem of a manager. He coordinated my taxi, helped me with my luggage, made me tea (really trying to kindly host me), and was so empathetic to the travelling challenges I had had before I had even gotten there. In fact, through my entire trip through Ankara, Cappadocia, Pamukkale, Canakkale, Ephesus and more, this and one other place were the best places I stayed during my two weeks in Turkey. I had previously stayed at a larger hotel across the street and it was terrible. The best way for me to say thank you, Arris is to, tell people how wonderful you were. Hi from NYC! :)

We stayed here for 4 nights and were very happy with our stay.
Everything was perfect. The staff was extremely helpful with every issue we had. They were some of the friendliest people we have ever met.
Thank you to Kris and Osman for everything. And special thanks to Aris for helping us when we lost our wallet.
Next time we come to Istanbul, we will definitely come back to this hotel.

Stayed here for a full week for the second time and everything was again perfect.
The hotel owner does an excellent job at choosing his staff. The staff changed a bit compared to last year but also the new staff members are super friendly and helpful.
Especially Aris is the best. He is always really kind and arranges everything you need perfectly, so you don’t need to worry about anything.
I would come back again the next time!
