Shantihome Hostel

Konumu gerçekten çok güzel. Hemen yanında otopark Var, günlüğü 20 lira. Bisikletlerinizle gelirseniz 5 dakikada bütün Alsancak ayağınızın altında. Odalar ve banyolar temiz. Tabii ki ortak banyo. Pek çok hostelden çok daha iyi olduğuna eminim. Biz ne yazık ki sadece gece geçirmek amacıyla kaldık. Ortak alan ve mutfakta vakit geçiremedik. Ama sahipleri çok tatlı insanlar. Bisikletimizi koyma konusunda da bize yardımcı oldular. Kahvaltı her sabah hazırlanıyor ve gönlünüzden ne koparsa yardımcı olarak katılabiliyorsunuz. Bence çok tatlı. Ayni zamanda bisikletleri de var. Dolaşmak için aynı şekilde alabilirmişsiniz. Özellikle turcular ve gezginler için uygun fiyatlı güzel bir hostel.

Very very nice hostel ideally located. This cute hostel is opening his arms to you, the hosts are very nice and welcoming, always there for you in case you need informations. The see is a few meters away from the hostel and a street with bars, restaurants and everything else is not even one minute away. There is tram and train connection 5 minutes away from the hostel. It is very clean. Their was a fan in the room. I highly recommend this place to stay in Izmir.

Amazing place right in the middle of Izmir! If you are looking for a relaxed place to stay in the center of Izmir, then this is the place to go! From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was at home. Breakfast was delicious, and it was easy to meet other people. The staff was super helpful and gave me some great advice. I will definitely return!

Ulgär the manager is phenomenal. The hostel from the outside looks shabby but it's done fine. Cozy mentality, it turns barefoot, everything open without keys, nice room for six on the first floor with balcony, the private one is too little spacious, there is just the queen bed and a small desk. Little bit they sleep with the bunks they call Hobbits room but it's fine if you just have to sleep. There is a terrace on the third floor because it is very nice and interesting. The prices — at least in euros — are super cheap, the private room 80 lire per night, about €8 per person. The kitchen is there, it's small but we didn't use it because it's not cozy, it's tight and it's hard to feel like cooking. The lounge is relaxing, sofas, coffee tables and lounge music, there is a little balcony where you smoke.

Wonderful hostel, a relaxed atmosphere, quiet and a staff that makes you feel at home, the beds are very comfortable and each has AC connection so you never run out of battery… I recommend it to 100%

The best hostel ever! Delicious breakfast, bikes and laundry, warm atmosphere, colorful flowers in the small garden, friendly staff, home, family. 2mins walk from the Subway station.

Great place to stay in Izmir! The people are very helpful and friendly. I felt like home.

They made me feel like home. The owners are very hospitable and caring! The rooms, bathrooms, kitchen are very clean and they have every conditions. The ambiance in the hostel is very relaxing and cosy! The hostel is situated in the city center, prices are not expensive and the breakfast is delicious. I definitely recommend this place!

Shantihome hostel is cozy with a lot of amenities. There's bikes for guest to use, laundry services, and breakfast. They ask only for donations for the services. We stayed in the private room that even had a small, private balcony. The location is also very central and only a few minutes walk from the Kordon (which is one of the most beautiful part of the city) I would definitely recommend this place for anyone staying in Izmir.

Cozy, cheap, shared living spaces as well as friendly atmosphere make it easy to get acquainted with people. The location is possibly the best you could ask for in İzmir, most central place I've ever stayed at. No safes in any of the rooms, but you can give things to the staff for safekeeping. Bed had bedbugs but that's kind of common in hostels with so much traffic and from what I can tell they clean fairly regularly;and I just asked for them to change my room and never saw any bed bugs again, so it's a fairly easy problem to fix if you notice in time.

The average look of a room, hostel is not kept very well and paint is peeling off from most rooms and from bathrooms. The Wi-Fi= buy a simcard. The breakfast is different daily which is nice. I stopped hanging out in the common areas as did many guests because the wife breasts feeds here baby in the middle of everyone and makes it supper uncomfortable. She lofts here shirt not carrying she is constantly showing her entire breasts and nipples much shame on her husband. The other volunteers at the hostel are nice and overall welcoming. I have stayed at 3 hostels in Izmir and this is the worst.

Shantihostel was my "home away from home". My month long stay there went very quickly. Rooms are comfortable, shared kitchen great and it's in a very convenient location.

Once you visit Shantihome, you just know that theres gonna be a second time. Im here sitting at the same living room for the second time after a month as im writing this review.

We tried to reserve by mail. That seemed to work until very fine. However, we have not received a confirmation email and when we ask then a second time only a very rude and annoyed reply came. You do not have released anything and would also not like to answer so many questions. The former was a lie anyway, because you could book more rooms online.

Home away from home, All Shatihome staff are very nice, You can ask for anything, and I was not disappointed. I was amazed by the idea they are running this Hotel/Hostel, and amount of thinking put in arrangements on each room is excellent. Its a home not Hotel, which is made up by Shatihome people.

Super cozy hostel in the heart of İzmir… It feels like home.

This is the most welcoming and feel at home hostel I've ever been to! From the moment we walked in the door we felt like staying at very good friends' and having found our little home away from home in İzmir. It's perfectly centrally but quietly located, run be great, easy going people and designed with love! The colourful walls, the great breakfast, the good conversations and music at night in the sitting room… Highly recommended!
