Highly recommend Poppy Apartments! Been coming to Calis for 20 years and stayed in a few hotels and apartments. The rooms in poppy are spacious & clean. Prior to arrival, Mel messaged to ask if we needed anything for our arrival. Such a lovely gesture! All the staff are friendly and you can tell it’s a family run business… you are made to feel like part of the family! The pools a good size, the sun loungers are all in great condition. The bar area is lovely and you can sit on the terrace by the pool, enjoying a good value beverage. Prices are very reasonable! The apartments are only a few minutes walk to the nearest shop so you can have a quick stroll to get fresh bread every morning. The apartments are also a short walk to the main strip and the sea front (maybe a little longer if you’ve had a fair few beers but still doesn’t talk long at all). Still yet to try the food and sushi but I know it comes highly recommended by the locals we know and also many others. I’ll definitely be back!

Can’t recommend poppy apartments enough, a family run business where we arrived as customers and feel like we left as friends. The rooms are large, have everything you need including aircon, a view of the pool, and I found the bed to be very comfortable. The food is tasty and well presented, the American pancakes were a favourite, the sushi is out of this world, the best I’ve ever had. Melanie is a fantastic host as are the rest of her family, we will be back, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Calis now.
