A wonderful hotel with beautiful architecture and a fresh landscape, extremely comfortable rooms with a magical view, endlessly varied and delicious food, wonderful staff who are always with the guests, friendly and fun with them, especially in the Palma restaurant, a wonderful sandy beach and nice calm sea.

A beautiful and high-quality hotel.

We have spent 10 days at this hotel and from the minute we walked through the door everything has been superb. Top quality drinks and the food is amazing, even the buffet restaurant is first class. The a la carte dining experiences were all excellent and the chateau briande is the best I have ever tasted. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely incredible week away here end of April 2022. We both said the hotel is the best we’ve ever stayed in before by miles — gorgeous and modern, so much choice of food it’s unbelievable and so tasty, brilliant staff who are so friendly and attentive. Literally nothing in the slightest bit negative to say at all — not even if we were being picky! We had a swim up room which was just perfect and worth the extra to upgrade. We would come back again without hesitation, and fully intend to! 💕

When I choice this hotel it was based on the reviews. Whilst the hotel is stunning, well kept and very modern. The service is something to be desired only. Initially we found the staff in the main restaurant extremely helpful, pleasant and eager, once they discovered we were not tipping them every time, the service level drooped a lot! In face one day my husband and I had breakfast in the self service, main restaurant and not one waiter/waitress approached us! We too based on a good service, and gladly tip, all day long, but not for a ooor service!
I’m a beach lover, and picked this hotel based on the private beach. On arrival I was surprised to see security watching the beach. But I later learnt that this is for show! Local ms can rick up at anytime and park their belongings, and take full advantage of the “private” beach! In several occasions I’ve approached the beach staff to inform them that the locals are taking up residence! Basically I feel like I’m doing their job! It’s frustrating when you pay for something and it’s not delivered!

The Service is great and the cooks outdo themselves every day. The garden is always very well maintained and a feast for the eyes.

We were with 3 generations in October 2019 for 8 days. We have felt ourselves very well. It is the nicest Hotel on this beach. In the bathroom and leave nothing to be desired, everything was very modern and stylish. Culinary we were always powered, even the Restaurants are highly recommended. Very nice all the staff are!

Amazing hotel, food is outstanding, hotel is 5 stars plus. This is the best hotel in Side.

Lovely luxurious rooms and excellent food. Spotlessly clean and lovely friendly staff. Little touches make this hotel stand above others. But evening entertainment too loud and intrusive. The shows are ok but the live music is awful and there is no escape from it.
Also very frustrated by sun lounger policy … this morning all beach loungers had towels on them but only 20% occupied. Hotel does not police early reserving of sun loungers … many are not occupied for hours on end.

Superb facilities and 1st class staff and unbelievable quality food.

It has been a tremendous stay! The rooms were very clean and spacious. The staff was very kind, fast and helpful. The food was also very good, although I would have wished for some more vegan dishes. The festive events during New Year's Eve were also nice, provided you are middle-aged.

We were at the hotel one week from August 2nd. It is a beautiful hotel, clean, and a high standard. We chose it based on the amazing reviews so we had high expectations. COMMUNICATION Not all the staff speak English and this affected how we experienced the service. We for instance asked about tennis at the reception and were asked to come back later because the receptionist didn't speak English. When you speak with staff that understands and speaks English, they are very helpful. SUNBEDS Most of the sunbeds around the pool are occupied with towels shortly after 7 in the morning. It was ok for us since it was often noisy there because of the activities with loud music. We found a nice quiet place in the garden  between the pools and the beach — right after the Beach Club. There were available sunbeds there most of the time. We went to the beach to swim every day, and we could see that there were often available sunbeds there. SECURITY AT BEACH At the beach, if you do not bring the Barut beach bag from your room, security will most likely ask you where you are staying. It is good that they keep a close eye on the area. SMOOKING If you are sensitive to others smoking, you should know that there are ashtrays around the grounds outside. We moved a bit when a couple of smokers came to sit right in front of us in the garden. The no smoking area at the pool bar is not respected. We saw people smoking there several times.

Excellent 5 star with very impressive food. A lot of small things that you don't get in other hotels. Free drinks brought round to where you're sitting am and pm. Prime beachside location so you can lounge by the pool or on the private secluded beach which is 20 secs away. Am definitely returning.

With the large selection of Hotels in Side, the choice was not easy, if you know your way so well. We are currently have posted here and regret not a second of this Hotel. This Hotel is unique. It is true everything here and every single employee performs his Job with passion, joy, and warmth. The entire system is a dream and it is a quiet and relaxed atmosphere no matter what time of the day. It great promotions and activities in the Hotel are you can perceive, and every evening there are great Shows and music. The food is so great, that a loss for words. Nothing is missing, and yet every guest is met, a special request always. The own Hotel beach section is very clean and beautiful so that the guests are far enough apart, and not, as almost everywhere in the Side on top of each other! The Loungers are from wood and there is a Service on the beach. Barut Acanthus Cennet is exactly says the Definition of as the Name. A Paradise!

Amazing hotel. Great place for relaxed holiday. Food is delicious, staff is very professional and friendly. Both pool and the beach are great. Rooms are nice and clean. Gym contains everything you might need for a workout. Its our first time here and we will definitely come again.

We stayed at this resort for 10 days and as everything ends, we had to leave unfortunately. What a wonderfull place to be. Been in Turkey for 8 times now and this resort is by far the best. Really everything is great. The food, the rooms, the people, the entertainment, the beach. Amazing. Also Side is a really nice place. Special thanks to our favourite waiter Bayram. Five-star hotel, all top notch. A quiet, unclogged beach. Plenty of food and treats in the restaurant. Nearby on the beaches as silyks in a barrel.

This year we just couldn't decide where the holiday should take us.
After a long search on the Internet, we came across the Barut Acanthus & Cennet. Based on the good reviews and pictures, we decided to book. On the 12th 05 of 2018 the time had come, we had a good flight and arrived at the hotel the next morning at about 3:30. We were greeted very kindly at the reception, our suitcases were immediately taken to the room. The moment the room door was opened to us, we were pleasantly surprised at how great the room seemed to us. Via a stuffed minibar, down to the indoors lit wardrobe, a drawer filled with glasses, cups, tea and coffee, just the madness!
The atmosphere in the hotel was always very pleasant.
The food offer was very good, whether breakfast, lunch or in the evening, often you didn't know what to take with such a variety! In terms of taste, everything was super delicious.
The staff was always friendly, always courteous.
The entire complex is very well maintained and clean.
Our favorite waiter was Abdullah.
We will definitely be back!

A lovely hotel, were now in April the 2 times here and were again fully satisfied. Room top food just fantastic better not going. Also the staff was super friendly you can really recommend the house. The only wistful drop is and remains the pool which is just 20 degrees too cold and this is really not a bathing pleasure. Also the indoor pool is not used, which is very difficult to reach from outside. You have to walk through the whole house. An entrance from outside would be more practical. But again this year there were many nice renovations in the outdoor area, maybe it works with the pool again? I'm curious. Happy next time.

It is soon again so far, we fly for 2 weeks to this beautiful hotel to recharge the strength.
Whether the rooms, food, sports facilities with the fitness trainer, beach location, long walks on the promenade everything was great!

Been here for 1 day so far and cannot fault it, the Staff are brilliant the services are exceptional, there's even waiter service by the pool, and it is a 30 second walk to the beach. The Food is top class aswell.

Top grade for this hotel right on the promenade of side. The staff is very accommodating, polite and extremely nice. The rooms and suites are very modern and are always kept to a high gloss. The hotel does not leave any wishes open food, service and wellness deserve 5 stars. Room 4 stars. The hairdresser in the house unfortunately only 3 stars, all other shops 4 stars.

Super Hotel to make relaxing Holidays. It's calmer. There are some Activities on offer. No Party Hotel. Food was always sensational!

One of the highlights of the Barut Hotels on the Turkish Riviera. Professional and friendly hotel — and service team. Quite modern and well maintained hotel. The rooms have almost all the side, beautiful sea views. Some even direct. Large, clean rooms with huge box jumping bed and mostly shower. My Swim-up Room 2014 is only recommended with private pool access with warm water. Cons: Steep ladder.
In the evening changing beautiful shows or piano music. Indoor pool and spa. The masseurs are also quite good. There are 2 restaurants to choose from, Italian, international and buffet restaurant. All are quite good of quality and choice. A visit to the Safran Restaurant is highly recommended. The staff 1A, the head waiter Kamil selected friendliness and professionalism. Likewise, the ladies and gentlemen at the front desk, such as Fatma Ünlü and Devrim Özgur, Front Office Manager.
The beach — and near water are wonderful. Long seafront is ideal for walking.
Conclusion: As a reader, you can really book this hotel without hesitation due to the quality criteria. It awaits you for a nice holiday.
It is organized for Turkey brilliantly, very good service and price performance ratio. Clean and cared for. Even the waiters in the halls very okay.
But what is worthy of criticism, the practical medical help in reality.

Here you will be really pampered super hotel super rooms and very clean a perfect service you can recommend the hotel without considering to continue.

Although it is a nice hotel with quite a lot of service. In the ital à la carte restaurant you feel like you are in the Bologna station hall. Not very ideally chosen. The pool is very old. Something too small chosen. For my personal taste a little too modern, it lacks the Turk flair.

The place is just chic! Recommend!

The rooms are very clean. The location is very nice. The service wants to get drinkmoney thats not so good.

The most obvious detail about the hotel was that all the employees were cheerful. All employees without any exception were very positive and cheerful. I could say it was a lot better than we expected from a hotel like location, beach, food, room comfort, cleanliness. As far as cost–benefit is concerned, I can say that in the region it is much better than much higher cost hotels. We had spent a great holiday without any problems. I would recommend the hotel.
