Review of Sirius Deluxe Hotel 5*

Well… where do I start?! The missus and I had been planning a holiday to Turkey for some time, so we spent almost three weeks trawling through the internet trying to find something we liked. It was hard work. The hotels looked great in the photos — but the reviews were another story. We were after a hotel which was literally on the beach, as well as ticking all the other boxes — pool bar, evening entertainment, 24 hour all inclusive food and drink and (decent spirits). TripAdvisor reviews are great, and really do give you an honest insight into the hotels and the reviewers whole experience. The majority of hotels stopped the 'all inclusive' drinks service at as early as 11pm, food was poor, you had to pay extra for premium spirits, otherwise it was paint stripper local stuff — so when we stumbled across the 5* Sirus Deluxe Hotel/Resort, and read the reviews we knew we had (well we hoped) had found the perfect place. We were NOT wrong. For a couple that have traveled to many countries and stayed in many luxury hotels over the years, we have high expectations (in a good way) and if a hotel claims to be 5*, then that’s what we expect. I can tell you now, that I was not disappointed! The hotel itself is very luxurious. It’s quite an intimate hotel, with only around 250 rooms. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get. Everywhere is spotlessly clean — the rooms, the pools, the toilets, the spa, the restaurant etc… Now the service; from the second we arrived (which was quite late — so we were tired and just wanted to throw our bags in, get a drink and relax) — we were made to feel so welcome. No stroppy late shift employees — everyone was smiling, chatting and extremely helpful. They took our bags up to the room, gave us a quick run down of how things worked and left us to enjoy the rest of the evening. Luckily as it is a true 24 our all inclusive — we could go down the restaurant and enjoy a nice hot meal before hitting the bar. We had a walk around the resort — it was late so everything was lit up and it looked stunning. Every single member of staff, from the receptionists, cleaning ladies, entertainment team, the bar staff/waiters, to the management were absolutely fantastic. They couldn’t do enough to help, most spoke multiple languages so if you don’t speak Turkish – don’t worry! The next morning, we woke up and decided to ask if it would be possible to change the room for a better view, (as after waking around the evening before — we wanted to look out onto that). It was no problem at all — Thank you so much to Caner. The animation team, Hulio, Kenan, Gika & Julio, are absolutely wicked at what they do. Always busy and doing something with guests to keep them entertained during the day & night. There was a huge variety of food whether in the restaurant or beach hut, and the waiters and bar staff always try to make the guests happy. Brilliant service. The question is… would I recommend this place? Definitely Will I be going back? Definitely. It’s going to be my stop over for the week every year from now on. Would like to say thank you to all managements for a great work of selecting a great team of workers, from waiters, bar staff, reception area, animation team, security and cleaners etc, every worker made us feel great and that’s why I will be coming back next year. See you all next year after the new refurbishment — sounded excellent!
