Taksim Hostel Green House Istanbul Hostel

The price is good, so it's in the center, so you can get anywhere fast. There's no elevator. Apart, it's a little old.

Simple hotel. Not so clean but okay for a night (it is affordable)

People who run this place Annie and Tamaan are friendly and helpful. Great area safer than old town for female travellers who are solo. Small but friendly.

The staff are very lovely. Excellent single-room with my own bathroom. Would be very nice with a warm light-lightbulb in the ceiling-light and a bedside-table-light!

It's just like a second home … Everything was just awesome place surroundings n the staff… So overall it was a very good experience being there.

The place near taksim square area which is good, they offer non shared room and shared room reasonable price per night, it’s good for singles or if you want only a place to sleep and you spend all day out, easy location, the don’t offer free water you need to buy it, they offer free coffee and teas in the room, they have path towels and slippers, they have hot water, no safe box, no elevator only stairs, the staff are good easy check in, no hidden charges, my reasons for two stars for the cleanliness of the room the mate was dirty I attached picture of it it cover with white cover, on morning I heard a birds somewhere near me, maybe over my head, food smell in my room, as well I think they were cleaning the stairs with something called Clorox I smell it too strong in my room, when I checked out the stairs was so I slipped but hold the walls, in general if you want to spend only nights it’s ok, it’s your choice, for 22 Euro I think it’s fair, thanks.

I was a guest in Green House for 5 nights and I picked a mixed room option. I am very happy for my choice, as I met wonderful people and I had a very good time. I recommend this choice for every solo traveler in Istanbul that desires to meet young people and to have all the desirable amenities at the same time.

Perfect place to stay in Istanbul! Very close to Taksim, nice and cozy place for a reasonable price. Also the people who work there are friendly and heplful so I truly have nothing to complain about :-)

Very good hostel with very good localization (close to Havatas bus stop, subway, Taxim square). Helpful, kind staff, clean room with bathroom, TV and air-condition (private triple room), tasty breakfast. Nothing more is needed to visit Istanbul. We will back there during next trip.
