Situated in a busy part of the city. Buffet spread is adequate and room is spacious. However, there are too few English TV channels.

Horrible hotel and customer service.

Being a Muslim country there was no pot for washing after poo, the behaviour of staff at the time or check in and check out was different, there was no cloth for prayers or jaye nimaz for Muslim guests being hotel in a Muslim country, there was no iron for ironing of clothes till the time asked from the room keepers, we were disturbed twice by operator at reception at 0300 hrs and 0340 hrs to wake up despite we didn't tell anyone to wake us up as I had told the receptionist that we will check out at 0715 hrs in morning, our Wi-Fi facility /password was taken from us at 0700 hrs and we couldn't use Wi-Fi despite that check out timings of hotel are 1200 hrs I guess, guests should be allowed to use Wi-Fi till official timings of check out, we are highly disappointed during our stay at Crown plaza old city Fatih istambul despite spend hundreds of pounds, hotel staff took 50£ from us and 100 £/$/€ from other guests for no reason and couldn't even provide me one paracetamol when I told the staff that Ive got headache, I will never recommend anyone in England to come to ur hotel I'm sorry I'm highly disappointed.

This is second visit this hotel. The service is always good and all staffs are very cordial and friendly. The huge problem is communicating with most of them in English.

They speak English the price is descent but the hotel is in really good place you walk 400 m you will see the vezenciler metro and you can walk to the grand bazaar or you can go by tramvay.

This hotel can’t be 4 stars, it’s hardly 3 stars. Rooms are small and in poor condition, wall paper is peeling off, no slipper for example. Some general open areas are not well air conditioned. Toilet and bath room is very small, towels are very old and turned to be yellow from white colour. You can find 4 stars hotels in the area in much better shape than Wyndham. Break fast is fine and location is excellent, staff and cooperative specially Mr. Zaman, customer relations officer.

Rooms not clean, not good service! some of the staff are nice but the rest are not very welcoming, furqan was a nice guy to deal with only. My leg was hurting me and I asked for the hotel dr. But they didnt help at all even though it is written that they have a dr. For emergencies!

I don't know about all others hotel in the area but this one didn't feel like a 4 or 5 stars hotel. Location is very good, but not the hotel. my room was in hotel attic you can feel the heat of the hotel roof and also the smell. i will not recommended. Like I said I don't know the others but this one was a lost of money prices around cheap compare to this one.

The location is excellent. Near Sofia, Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Dear Zaman My experience in this hotel has been something I have never experienced in my own country. You have taken us as your family. You treated us like family. When the day went by and you never saw us, you made it your duty to call or message. I don’t think I have ever had a family or close friend care this much. I will be sending through all of our reservation info to the Wyndham website also TripAdvisor with pictures so management knows the value in your service. Zela Gezer who I called my mother. She is a gem. We cried and we hugged. What a beautiful soul. Thank You Mr Zaman And your staff as well.

Good location with tram almost at the door. Less than a mile away. Of Sta. Sofia, Blue Mosque, Roman racecourse, Grand Bazaar and many shops.
Breakfast of Oriental taste and few things of European taste, coffee only long little pastries, juice is not natural.
Spacious room. The Bath products gel and shampoo. There's a hairdryer. Clean.

I liked this hotel very much. The decor is very nice; The food, good (breakfast… maybe a little loose) very clean and the staff, extremely friendly. The only downside is the lobby stairs that for people with difficulties are a nuisance. However, the staff of the hotel helps you and I have seen them manipulate wheelchairs for disabled people.
The area shown in the Image DSC_1957, (which is where you have breakfast and also you can make the other meals) is like a patio and the floors of the rooms surround it. It can be appreciated that the roof is of textile material, but I do not know if according to which times, they retire it and it becomes an external patio.
As can be seen in different images, the decoration is very varied and with a very oriental air, both on the walls as in the chairs, armchairs and sofas.
From several rooms you can see the Laleli Mosque and as it is a country with a Muslim majority, at the hours of the prayers, the call of the muezzin is perfectly heard.
The hotel building is very large and besides the access to it, there is also access to the shops. The street where it is located is very crowded.

Very good location for shopping. The staff doesn't speak Russian. Some! The rooms are o'm Bad Wi-Fi. The standard number is small (for $30 a day changed to SuperDelux). Breakfast for 3 degrees.

The hotel is recommended for a Stopover. The rooms are reasonably quiet and well equipped. In my case, however, with damage to light, air conditioning and window sealing (road noise) particularly noteworthy is the low quality of service at breakfast, untrained staff at room service and luggage handling.
Wi-Fi is, if available at all, cumbersome and very slow.
This House I can recommend only to unpretentious bus tour groups, of which there is abundant.

Very good location, great room, tram at the foot of the hotel. Very clean, very friendly staff, breakfast buffet very full and varied. I recommend it as close to any 5min walk to the Grand Bazaar, 5min from the Souleymane mosque. Metro 5min, several shops all around. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Hotel very well located in the old town, all at disposal near… Discreet and relatively efficient staff… A little disappointed in the cleaning of the bathroom in our room and breakfast full but repetitive.

Good hotel It is cleaned daily clean made breakfast all fresh.

Good service, room and bathroom spaces comfortable enough, no hair conditioner, if shampoo and hairdryer. Suitable breakfasts.

I recently stayed at the Wyndham in the old city Istanbul. I arrived about 5.30pm in the afternoon. I was given a very nice room, good bed, modern bathroom. I unpacked and went for a swim in the excellent indoor pool. After I changed and went out for dinner. I have read some reviews, one said there were no restaurants in the vicinity. Well they weren't staying in this hotel, there were numerous restaurants within a few minutes walk. I found a very good one. When I returned to the room I went straight to sleep. I was bitten by a mosquito and woke up. I killed it and went back to sleep, I heard more of them an noticed 2 in the room. I could not get rid of them and went to reception. It was 1.30am. The receptionist was so apologetic and changed my room, they offered 3 and I took my pick. She was so helpful. The next day I went to breakfast, again I had read some mixed reviews, well it consisted of a large buffet, and everything you could imagine. Nothing like the review I had read. It was very good. On the whole I found the hotel to be excellent standard, be well located close to everything and offer a very good service. I have one point the rooms are dark at night as is the Lobby and reception area, due to inadequate lighting. This looks drab and should be addressed.

Having asked for a no smoking room I was disappointed that the room we were allocated stunk of smoke. To be fair, when we raised the issue it was dealt with quickly and we were moved to another room which was much nicer. Everything felt a little jaded and although the staff were pleasant enough, there were a number of occasions when their performance was not up to my expectations. Moreover, the breakfast buffet, whilst plentiful, lacked quality.

Hotel located in the monumental area of Istanbul near the Grand Bazaar.
Despite having 5 stars it looks outdated.
The rooms are perfectly equipped, however the toiletries are scarce.
To improve: breakfast. They offer a wide variety of product but the quality is lousy. All the food is insipid. The juices are pot. It's expendable.
Value for money: expensive.

We stayed at the hotel for 6 days, we enjoyed its location (near the grand bazaar, the tram, the Blue Mosque, etc) but we did not feel like we were in a 5 star hotel… — breakfast was very disapointing — the pool was… disapointing too — the room was smaller than we expected and it was not cleaned properly. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We don’t think we’ll come back again…

Well-placed hotel, right in front of the T1 tram, ideal for visiting the important tourist sites of the Fatih district.

A central hotel, comfortable, clean and pleasant, with access less than a block to the subway. You can walk from the hotel to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar.

Great disappointment in this hotel, which does not deserve the 5 stars presumed in its possession: — Non-observance of the reservation made for a room with two twin beds (obtaining a room with 1 double bed, while we were a sister and a brother in the room) — very narrow, dark room, on the top floor and without lift (it stopped 1 floor below) — unpleasant reception on the part of the manager of the night from 07 to 08 November 2017 at 2:00 a. M. Who did not want to change the room, did not want to discuss with us After a tiring journey, to take the room or to let he said, (we stayed 1h at the reception to try to negotiate with him, he ignored us completely, unprofessional and the client was not king unfortunately) — apart from the location, I Do not advise this hotel…

A comfortable Hotel with friendly staff. Efficiently run. Used mainly by tour groups on a short stay basis which has some disadvantages i. E. The constant traffic movements. Smoking is forbidden but regularly violated. Breakfast is provided catering to the various nationalities. A Bistro with a small menu is otherwise the only option for day or evening dining.

5 star Hotel leaves a lot to be desired in Europe would be a 4 star.

This once would have been a plush hotel, but is now a little tired, as shown by the towels, bedding, and décor. The staff are rather abrupt and clearly stressed, but helpful. The spa, gym, pool and sauna etc. Are an enjoyable addition. While there is good choice on the breakfast buffet, it is rather like navigating one of the bazaars collecting your food. A better selection of hot foods would have improved it for us.

No ramp for carts or laggages to drag upstairs. No handicap access.

Extremely poor property. More like a 3 star and will be seriously disappointed if you are expecting a 5 star property. Poor upkeep. Air con did not work. Our room had a leaking toilet. Rude staff. Stay away unless you want a cheap place in old town.

Poor breakfast.

As soon as we got here, we were welcomed very warmly by the staff. We were served by Mr Murat and he was friendly and helpful. The lobby was decorated beautifully with traditional Ottoman style. We had a nice stay.

It is a good acommodation near the city center and transportation. A lot of shops and restaurants around with a good variety of food. The services were very good but the breakfast terrible: a lot of food but no quality. I tried only once…

Ideal place for being close to city center and tourist activity. Clean and tidy and friendly and decent buffet breakfast.

Nice hotel, in the city center, and convenient transportation. Not far from the Grand Bazaar can walk, go out at 2 minutes by tram, go to the fish market, very convenient in places such as the Grand Mosque, the fishing bridge, eating fish five stops, which is very convenient. Staff smiling service.

Very nice hotel, I stayed 6 days & booked 2 rooms with my family, location is great, impressive interior, rooms have great interior, they gave us super room on third floor overlooking the main street, breakfast buffet is very good, did not try other facilities in the hotel like spa … Etc One thing I did not like is no free Wi-Fi.

The fourth floor room is very large, it can be expected to see Istanbul street scene, located in the heartland of ancient smell.

We had amazing stay. Very helpful staff, Perfect survice. Its location is so special as you can walk down tbe streets and find almadina restaurant that has a super yummi food. I highly recommend it.

Facilities do not correspond even to a four star to top it off they gave us a room on the top floor where not arrive the elevator with lovely views to a patio awning, without possibility of opening windows and a bathroom so small that you had to enter the shower plate to close the door. The staff did not come up the bags despite being required for them, on the contrary, left them in the middle of the hall next to the gateway without any control. The front desk staff, and all the Staff of the hotel, including the address, is generally rude, with no predisposition to help the client and even send. Vulgar breakfast, as its facilities and services. If you are lucky it can be to put air conditioning in public areas and do not pass stifling heat when you want to use the internet, which only works in the Lobby if it is not paying an extra. I will not ever.

The hotel is the location. The quality of facilities gives it to be more one three star, but without doubt the worse are its employees, for which it seems that rudeness is the first rule. I will not.

The only good hotel location, reception and dining room service is not a 5 star.
Avoid rooms that are above the last floor, can not be more including small basins, not to mention that do not have direct access from the lift customer has to climb a staircase of snail with suitcases, not counting the stairs from the street to the reception it is not suitable for people with disabilities or impaired mobility.
The breakfast buffet is fine, but if the hotel is full, they enable the dining room for dinner and in that the buffet is minimal, so the customer should have a tour to take their breakfast apart from go claiming its coffee. Dinner price is high — as befits a 5 star — quality and quantity is not at that point and I hope that you do not run as us, they served us the soup, salad. And then the dessert, to eat the main course / the principal had to claim. This is centrally located and well connected to the major monuments —

We stayed there for five days. The female concierge named Julia Dubroza was very rude. She would show us the wrong direction to places with an attitude on numerous occasions. I am in business for myself and I felt that she shouldn't be in this type of customer service job. On the first night of the stay, we complained that the room was too noisy due to the location near the street and caught the front desk person lied to us about availability of a quiet room. Overall I would not recommend friend or family to stay at this hotel. I stayed at other Crowne Plaza hotels before and this one had the worst service.
