The hotel is located in a very central location with easy access to Istikal Cade. The employees are very friendly, hospitable and helpful especially Sevda and Kadir and the hotel manager.

Worst hotel ever. They try to scam you by booking a higher category room and then downgrading the room without any reason. Its a plain rip off. Stay away!

The staff can’t talk Any language except Turkish which is not allow in any other hotel in the whole world in addition that they can’t handle any customers even in a polite way. Again again I don’t recommend them at all

It was the WORST experience ever…
-First of all the room was so narrow and tight, there was no space to even put our bags!
-Second the cleanliness was 1/10!
-Third the staff were sooo not friendly, they’re so RUDE
— Fourth the breakfast was veryyyy poor
— Last and MOST IMPORTANTLY is that its so not safe where you may be robbed and noone does anything about it! (My husband and I put 200$ on the bag for exchange and forgot them. The room service team meanwhile cleaned the room, ROBBED the money, and put A FAKE 100$ instead and ofcourse no one did anything about it! )
It is a maximum ONE STAR hotel…

My stay at the hotel was one of the best, the staff was very friendly, the facilities were very good, the hotel was very well located and the rooms are perfect to rest with very comfortable mattresses. I recommend it.

Excellent hotel in a very central position near to Taksim and to the tram station. As a result, the sightseeings are easily accessible. And this is the best place to stay as there is a great variety of places that you can also enjoy yourself, such as coffee shops and restaurants next to Galata tower.
The rooms were very fresh and the service staff in restaurant was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and with many different options.

Awful hotel, dirty rooms, indifferent staff and thin walls of the rooms so if you are as “lucky” as myself you will be hearing some arabs screaming as crazy till 5am. There was a TV in the room, which was not working. It literally did not broadcast ANY tv-channel during my entire stay although I mentioned this fact to the reception immediately — as well as the other facts. But nothing was made to fix any of those — just like nothing happened. Istanbul is a beautiful city with a thousands of hotels better than this one. So don’t ruin your travel staying here.

Location: Near the main road, all noise around and there is no view from the balcony. The hotel has no parking Check In — Reception: When we arrived to the hotel around 10 am, the rooms weren't ready, the receptionist said that the cleaning time is at 12 so we can take our rooms around 2:30 pm, we waited till 4 under the pretext that the hotel is fully booked, very slow and disappointing check in! Receptionist wasn't friendly, & unhelpful, he didn't even smile, Hotel doors are always open even after 12. Luggage: They left our luggage at the entrance door because the luggage room was full (& It wasn't). We carried most of our luggage because the luggage guy was lazy and rude, he just led us to our rooms and waited at the door & expected to receive money. Rooms: Good looking interior but extremely small, and not clean, when I looked under my bed I saw papers and tissues. The house keepers didn't change the towels everyday, and we had to tell them when to change the bed sheets, and to bring toilet paper. Sleeping was a nightmare for me, bed size is smaller and shorter than it looks in the pictures, the pillows smell cigarettes. The music was loud even after 11:00, and the walls are not isolated, we heard our neighbors and the road jam, even tho we were at the 6th floor. Safety Box didn't work even after following the instructions, we had to carry all our money and passport with us. Steam iron was not included in all rooms.

Horrible place to stay at. Unfortunately we were there for about 3 nights. Every other place we stayed at in Turkey was amazing except this one. Very bad service. No one seems interested in helping you out. The bell boy was only interested in money. We carried most of our luggage and he just led us to our room. And when we said thankyou for accompanying us he was standing at the door obviously because he expected some money. We hired a car and drove down to the hotel. These guys didn't have a parking facility and they charged us for the car parking. None of the other hotels charged their customers for the car parking facility even if they didn't have one in their premises. The rooms were extremely cramped up and not cleaned properly.

Very mediocre. Had already paid for the hotel. First off-putting thing was that this hotel has no parking and since we had hired a car, we were curtly told that they would park it for us at the pay and park right opposite and we had to pay for it during checkout. The subsequent hotels I stayed at Canakkale and Izmir also did not have parking but they did it for me at the pay-and-park without any charge to the customer. I really do not mind paying but the nonchalant attitude of the staff indeed left a bad taste. At the reception, the executive asked for my card. When I told him I had upgraded my card and old card was not available and I submitted my passport as identity proof, he said "we may have to cancel reservation and charge full amount to card again". Really did not make sense when I had already paid for the roo. And also showed him all necessary ID proof since both old and upgraded card was in my name. The guy who helped me Carry the luggage was shamelessly waiting inside to tip him. I had just got there directly from the airport after a bad experience there with the rental agency and had no change on me. When I told him that I would pay him later, he still stood there! Had to pay him 20 lira to just get him out the room. Room also was cramped up. Same items for breakfast all 3 days. They claim to be a 4 star hotel — far far from it. They really need to change their attitude towards the guests. 2 stars only for the location. Never coming back here for sure.

Location is very convenient. Service doesn't at all live up to the 4 star rating. Rooms extremely small. Breakfast not varied, and pastries (which are basic in turkish cuisine) were not fresh 3 out of 4 days. Disappointing to be honest. Hygiene was not at all interesting, breakfast attendant sneezed into her glove then went around touching cheese slices and lettuce with her gloves instead of the utensils. Walls too thin, you hear your neighbor sneeze!

Hotel in the center of Istanbul, close to istiklal street and galatha tower. Place is popular among tourists. Rooms are clean, with good service. There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel where you can get Turkish food. Prices are moderate. Hotel has conference room. Personal is English speaking. Credit cards are accepted.

Good value for money. Ideally placed to discover Taskim.

The location of this hotel is great. One kilometer away from Taqsim. In the backside, you can start walking in Istiqlal street (independence street) the most human-walking crowded street in Istanbul downtown.

Nice hotel, location is in the centar of Istanbul. Not so good wiev. Good prices.

The breakfast buffet is waiting too long for water, clean cutlery etc… The waiters don't come after it. The room and bathroom are not so clean. Especially in the bathroom were hairs still from other guests. Opposite was a construction site could not have slept but then on request to get a room on the other side. All staff very nice and helpful.
And of course a great location Istiklal Caddesi Taksim Galata Kulesi within walking distance. Şişhane Metro 5 min walk. Taxi rank just outside the door.

Not so much c is not like the foto the hard Mattla not too clean spot part everything in the room C is more 4 stars not at all the Pettoe Dejener not too varied.

The location of the hotel is perfect. The reception guys were nice. However, The room service is not good and the rooms are super dirty. I have asked them several times to clean up the rooms but they didn't. They only arrange them. They don't even change the blankets or the bed sheets no matter how dirty they become. We had a baby with us and he vomited on one of the pillows, we went out all day and when we came back we found that the same dirty pillow was not changed! Moreover, on the sink there was a drop of toothpaste, we went out all the day, when we came back we found the toothpaste stain as is (although the room was arranged)!

Rooms are comfortable and cozy. Nice colors. The staff is kind and helpful. Location is good. The hall looks shabby though. Pity.

1) The bed is tough tight 140 cm and creaky with every movement. 2) Very noisy hotel u can hear the music of the bar coming up from the open shaft in the middle of the coridor between the floors. 3) thickness of walls between the rooms are superfine imagine u can hear your neighbor next room talking to his wife. 4) Water leakage on toilet walls. 5) I upgraded my room to a superior, 1double bed and still got same size 140cm bed even the balcony door is broken it won’t open. 6) Breakfast and the location are ok but am shocked how did they got the 4 star? Imagine it is 2 oclock in the morning now and can’t sleep because of the noise of the bar downstairs. I wished I could upload some pictures and voices that u can imagine what I am passing threw, I really don’t recomend that hotel even to my worst enemie.

Very nice hotel and the locations are too easy to rich. The staff are friendly and I would like to special thanks to the bellboy Mr. Orton if Im not mistaken his name (white, tall, his shape of eyes like chinese) that he recommended a very nice place. And to the reception Mr. Tasdamer too. Well the breakfast was absolutely perfect. Im gonna miss specialy the fried sausage and with onion sausage, cheesy potatoes, the tasty breads station. They give me room at 7floor was completely nice. I will come back to this hotel soon.

Best value for the corner. Perfect location, close to Istiklal Street, public transport, restaurants and bars. Very comfortable Rooms It is important to note that a cigarette odor is present in the rooms (smoking is allowed).

It is an old hotel refurnished many times I see. Now with modern bathroom and rooms. It is nice and clean the service is very good. Can say it is more for young people as there were no elderly at all. It is very central located 2 min to the finikuler toward Karaköy and 8 min to Taksim Square. Right in front there are cabs available at all times. A very good value for price. Open buffet breakfast is not bad.

A very nice decoration, a small hotel easy access to the metro, and to take a taxi less than one minute to istiklal street. The staff is helpful, rooms are small but very practical and designed well. Good value for money. Best for a touristic visit to Istanbul.

Still a lot of potential up.
Basically, I have to say that we got the hotel room at a reasonable price. We can therefore overlook a lot.
But.
The room seems to be OK at first sight, but at second glance some shortcomings do.
For example, the sliding window does not allow you to close the balcony and is about 5 cm from the beginning. After notification at the reception, this is quickly remedied.
The bed is Bretthart and creaks at every move look loud.
We didn't do it, but after a couple of days we just couldn't sleep in pain. We also have to report this deficiency. They took care of it quickly. Unfortunately, it was only partially fixed.
The advertised controllable air conditioning is a joke. The room does not get under 23 °c, no matter how far you set down. That's way too warm.
On the day of arrival there was still a washcloth. Then never again!?
There is a kettle in the room. Tea and coffee is provided for this purpose.
So it is at least advertised, unfortunately there is also reason to complain, the coffee is consumed once there is no replenishment even after the complaint.
Used glasses from the mini bar are placed ungereingt back to the mini bar. Hello, is it still?

Little soundproof room, work outside at night, noise from the hotel bar and noise from the neighbors. Otherwise correct.

Central located hotel but pretty poor facilities and the rooms are somehow dirty (it looks good in photos but in reality you can see it is old)

Small room. It's noisy cuz Taksim is close by! If u wanna a quiet place find a place far from Taksim and the staff are nice!

Great location. And I like the room size. But the main issue was the room service there was dust on the walls. When I told the reception about it. There was no response.

Good location but furniture is getting old with low cleanliness level. Also, the amenities are consumed. Breakfast is also very basic.

The rooms are really tight, the service is below average. Breakfast is also below expectation and there's no system as they are mostly crowded in the morning with so many guests. People don't respect who come first. One more thing, the elevator stops regularly. It stopped on me and my family once. The hotel only good thing is the location.

I had an amazing time there, rooms were a bit small but needless to say that the staff's behavior was unbelievable that brought comfort to our stay at The Peak… breakfast was over average of course. It just right behind the Istiklal ave and just 15 minutes walk to Taksim square. Şişhane metro station is just as close as Istiklal ave. Highly recommend.

Excellent hotel, on top position in Taksim area, near Istiklal street, Pera museum, Galata tower, bars, clubs all in walking distance and in safe area. Very modern and stylish enterier, hotel service is great, as well as food in hotel's restaurant. Could't wish for more!

Good trenažerka, there is a sauna and a steam room. Fresh ice. Almost no people, no one spakojno can be straining.

I am currently in my room, it's 27 degrees according to the thermostat of the air conditioning… that doesn't work. Response received in response to my call… "It's normal, it's not hot enough"! … The TV either doesn't work (by what he does not quite cold can be? ) Way all this… Avoid so.

Location is excellent with good value of money, The area to improve is breakfast, its same every day. Other facilities are great.

I have stayed several times at The Peak Hotel in Istanbul and always my staying there gives me the joy and satisfaction of a very comfortable hotel which provides plenty of facilities and most important an ideal location for my walks around (just 2' away from Istiklal Caddesi) as well as a convenient point for using either public transport or taxi (just above a big avenue). I would suggest though more offers for frequent clients (when booking directly) on behalf of the Hotel.

Well, not bad, not dirty but really good and clean is different. Good for larger groups. Breakfast ok, but not amazing.

But you need no second time OK —. Can't get more carpeted floors. It could be cleaner.

They sell rooms and then you get other very old and dirty, dark, bathrooms small and old, if you want to change you put problems. Very poor breakfast and general "bad" treatment, unpleasant, even derogatory.
