Sufi hard-working monks are known for their lap dances. At sema, play "AYin" every time, it's a special reserved track. The music consists of four parts, the instrumental part is a contrasting rhythmic type, performed by at least one singer, a flute player, a set-piece drummer and a trumpeter. The earliest works of music originated in the mid-16th century and combine the traditions of Persian and Turkish music. The reserved tracks were continuously expanded to form a prototype before the early 20th century. The cultural center will perform every Saturday.

There is weekly mevlave show every Saturday at 7:00 PM for free. No reservation required, just come before time in order to choose your place. Nice and spiritual.

Free of charge, each saturday at 19.00 'o clock a 'semazen' show which takes about an hour.

Magnificent place! He was a great poet and Sufi mystic and no! He was not a Turk, nor were any of his ancestors! He was born a native Persian, grew in a Persian-speaking area and moved to Karaman (today Turkey) only because of the Mogol invasion. 90% of his poetry is in Persian, some in Arabic and only a couple of couplets in Turkish. Despite the great tomb Turkey has built for this great man, it's a shame they're claiming his legacy to be submitted under the name of Turkey in UNESCO!

One of the top attractions in Konya. The Mevlâna Museum, is the mausoleum of Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi, a Persian Sufi mystic also known as Mevlâna or Rumi. It was also the lodge of the Mevlevi order (the whirling dervishes). An entrance free museum, worth a visit.

I was there last week Konya is great city in turkey, and also mevlana was a great Turk, from Afghanistan, Mazarisharif.

One can't rate places like these as you have to experience it for yourself. For some reason entrance is free so I am not sure for how long but as for now it's free.

Amazing. I have always wanted to see this and came all the way from Istanbul to Konya, just for this and it was an amazing experience and if I had the time I'll come again and again. There is an introduction in English as well so for those who can't understand Turkish. BTW it's free entrance for all, Saturdays @19:00

I love Konya city because that is the house of Moulana Rome imam jala.

I am excited to write something about this museum. Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi is a most favorite poet of me. For first time when I visit this museum spent above one hour in front of maulanas grave. In the museum have maulanas grave, others uses things of mawlana. This museum located in the main city of Konya. The people of konya is more conservative but they are cooperative. There is no entry fee for visiting this museum. It is the birth place of Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu.
