The best place to stay when your are in konya, few steps away from the main attraction to konya (in my case the only reason) Rumi. The owner " Omer " a true gentleman, fluent in English (which is very rare in turkey) knows the history and knows how to treat guest, on my arriving at his hotel he said " look, u r not my guest but u r guest of Rumi" and he proved it with his honesty, hospitality and love. The hotel entrance spellbound you with so much colors, fragrances a…nd smiley faces (I forgot the name of the girl on reception, she was so nice and helping, always smiling, " may u stay blessed "), the other girl who served me breakfast was so hard working, caring and helping (may u stay blessed) and the other people, all treated us with so much love and respect, respect and love for Pakistan was loud and clear by Omer. When we checked out, and left the hotel, Omar and the reception girl came in hurry, girl with a box with two water bottles and saying it's a tradition for saying good by to guest and she threw some water on the ground and Omer with two beautiful coasters, saying when ever u ll drink coffee or tea, remember me. So this was the hospitality and connection.
So thank u very much team araf hotel and I ll highly recommend ppl and families to stay at araf when they are in konya.

Nice people, nice atmosphere.

Staying at the Araf hotel was a pleasure. We were in Konya for a day and the owner will his helpful attitude made us feel like we had friends in the city. The hotel is located close to Maulana rumi museum and a tram passes quite close by. There are numerous mosques close by and Aladdin park is walking distance away. We had the best hot apple tea down the lane from araf hotel. The owner recommended the pida from a restaurant down the street and then got it delivered to the hotel. The room has a luxurious feel with great attention to detail. We had a room with an joined room with bunk beds. The kids were over the moon. The toilet was small but very well planned and gold taps! There was a closet and a mini refrigerator. The breakfast was served in the lobby area. They served the most amazing hazelnut spread. Overall the breakfast was quite delicious. Although compact the hotel is one of the best we have stayed in. It had a 9.6 rating on trip advisor for these reasons only!

My wife and I stayed at this splendid boutique hotel during the month of December 2017. The staff were absolutely amazing, from arranging our collection from the bus station to transporting us to the cultural mueseum the night we arrived. The staff went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. I would highly reccomend this lovely hotel to anyone visiting Konia. Most of the sites are within walking distance from the hotel.
I would like to thank Sedat and Pelin for their outstanding service. Sedat was our first point of contact and after he departed for his vacation, the assistence we recieved from Pelin was splendid. Pelin was kind enough to arrange a late check out for us.
This is the type of service that makes travelling so enjoyable.

Tiny rooms. Low quality breakfast. Cant believe it scored that much on Booking. Not worth money.
