What I liked about this hotel is its location. From there, many top attractions are only a few minutes away by taxi. Also, it is a walking distance to the popular area called Adalar where you can find several nice restaurants, cafes and tram stations. It was winter when we chose to stay at Deda Thermal Hotel during our Eskisehir travel, but it didn't live up to its name "thermal hotel. " With 2 small children with us during a cold winter month of January, it was indeed a challenge to stay there — our room was cold, their centralized heating wasn't working at all, no air-conditioning as an alternative, we had to leave the tap running for at least 40 minutes for the water to get warm so we could shower, the corner of our room was leaking and we had to put towels on the floor to prevent the entire room from getting wet, breakfast was barely satisfactory, and internet connection very weak. The bed was uncomfortable, pillows were too stiff, and the sheets smelled like they were barely washed. There was not even a room telephone. After the first day of such lousy service, they moved us to a different room with no extra charge, but we faced the same issues again. Because we already paid the full 5-day stay and couldn't get a refund, we just chose to think of it as an indoor camp. Though a couple of receptionists were kind and could speak good English, I don't recommend this hotel especially for families with children and winter vacationers.

A great 3-star hotel but very capable of a 5-star hotel in terms of cleanliness, client service and warmly receptions. It is very wonderful for a weekend getaway in Eskisehir and the open bufe breakfast is a very big plus. I gladly recommend this hotel without any reservation.
