A beautiful place in the heart of Cappadocia with the most friendly and caring staff. I had a great time and felt so at home. Highly recommend it. Miss them already.

The Chelibi Cave House setting was absolutely lovely. It had a beautiful courtyard, easy walk to the central merchant area, and best of all, the room options offered you an opportunity to step back in time. The terrace has fanatic views of the fairy chimneys and the town of Gerome. We ended up taking a lot of pictures of the property and surrounding areas. The owner Ismail converted it in to a small boutique hotel with another family member. We paid a little more to stay in the ground level cave room and it was worth it. We had an outdoor seating area and plenty of space to stretch out and relax. Our suite even had an original tandoor that was still intact and converted into a display area. The included breakfast was homemade and tasty. You didn't go hungry at all with the daily spread of options and Turkish chai or drinks at any point of your stay. The staff even made us customized breakfast sandwiches to go on our last day. We did a balloon ride with one of their recommended vendors and also opted for a private and customized tour with Ismail. Both were excellent. We chose the private tour over the regular red and green tour packages advertised throughout town to give us some flexibility and to avoid the tourist crowds. We are very happy we did as we were listening to local and international tunes along the way. Ismail made us feel welcomed and answered questions about the local area.

Excellent hotel. Very hospitable cousins managing the place. Very good value for money. We stayed in a beautiful family cave room. Breakfast was great. Would have hated it a 5 if the bedrooms were air-conditioned or had fans. Good air-conditioning in the sitting area though. Excellent decor. Thanks to the cousin with the beard. His hospitality was exceptional.

The location of the hotel is very good, easy to get everywhere. The owner was amazing making it very comfortable and he booked everything for us, tour and shuttle bus. The breakfast was really nice with lots of choice. Highly recommend. The rooms were nice and clean :)

Authentic turkish mansion with wonderful, well decorated, spacious flats and breakfast terrace. Veli and ismail were friendly and responded us promptly. The location is perfect to discover the Göreme center. The scenery via windows was perfect. Highly recommend for short even long stays.

Really wonderful hotel with wonderful service. The rooms are great and authentic. The breakfast in the morning is huge and you'll be full after that. That help you plan your trip there and it's really easy to pass some wonderful time. Would totally recommend this place to friends.

Super awesome! Definitely my first choice. Ismail, Veli and staff were excellent and very professional. Such personalised service from tips on sightseeing and activities to restaurants and food. Chelebi is an experience you do not want to miss, we had a great time. Highly recommended.

We did not stay at the hotel — but this is the experience with the ownership. We booked this several months prior to our trip, but with recent developments in Turkey, have decided to postpone as we are travelling with school age children and safety is a bit of a concern. After booking they were quick to contact us with upselling for tours. Unfortunately we seem to have booked our stay with a non-refundable price via expedia. The hotel was non-responsive to both my direct requests and expedia's to consider a refund. This was still several weeks from the trip date. When Expedia did finally connect with them they refused a refund. So they get to keep my $400 or so and I get to write this review.

Great hotel. The staff here really makes you feel like family. I love the theme of the hotel. Towels were changed everyday and there's enough shampoo and soap for weeks. I cant stress how much I recommend this hotel.

We had a great experience staying in the Seyyah room at the Chelebi Cave House. Staying in cave is truly a unique experience not to be missed during your visit to Göreme, Turkey. The staff is attentive, friendly and always available to ensure your experience is as enjoyable as possible. The hotel is situated in great location whereby all restaurants, shops and tourist activity offices are within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel, one of the best experiences I have had while staying in a small sized hotel.
