A rotten hotel is all false advertising! really zero professionalism especially for containment is outright scam.
Beware everyone is thieves! And I say that by experience.

Unfortunately I would straight away like to bring to your attention that I was looking for the best respectful hotel of the sanitary measures, as I should have quarantined for 7 days and the Carlton hotel was recommended, but I was surprised from the beginning because I couldn't even reach the reservation service. I called 2 times the operator answered the first time by saying "oui", and she was busy with someone else and then she hanged up the phone and I tried to call again but she didn't answer, for the third time she answered by saying " oui Mariem a votre service " and again she was speaking to someone else, I was waiting for 3 minutes and she said " "" دريج و عاود اطلبني امان"" I was really shocked.
I just wrote my bad experience just to train more your employees to give the best first impression to your guests.

Rude customer service. Do not respond to emails. Keep hanging up my phone call.

Stayed here during our first night in Tunis. It was perfect for an overnight stay. Pros: cheap rooms, staff is very nice, decent breakfast (included) Cons: small rooms (stayed in a double room)

Needs maintenance. They sell you expensive tours. Avoid! Just get a regular cab and you won’t get ripped off.

Great location, great staff, great rates. Loved the balcony. Front desk helped me arrange a driver for a tour of the city.

Room clean and photo-compliant, but small. The hotel is very well located. The only major flaw is the glaring lack of soundproofing. We hear absolutely everything in the room.

I am a customer at this hotel for 15 years everything was spotless as usual, only one thing it takes a trolley to better facilitate the services of baggage handlers.

Central location 5-10 minutes away from Medina.
Breakfast was OK, and is included in the price. Fresh crepes are prepared on request.
Rooms are very clean and are cleaned daily. Beds and pillows are very comfortable.
Unfortunately there was no electrical outlet at the bed and there was no manual for the safe. WLAN password is also not automatically issued at check in.
The coffee was unfortunately not as good as from the vending machine (tasted to Nestle) WLAN was on the 4 floor unfortunately very very bad, I had constant connection problems.

It’s really nice place to stay. Not that expensive. Stuff are friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel located in the middle of the Avenue Habib Bourguiba staff dedicated to listening and very friendly. I highly recommend it.

It's very clean. Although the hotel located in the city centre it is very quite as the balcony's doors are double glazed. The Wi-Fi is very good and the staff helpful and cheerful. I definitely recommend it!

Highly recommended. Besides the hotel superb location, the staff is excellent and always go out of its way to help the guests. My room was very quiet and well maintained. The breakfast is also very good and I would recommend anyone to stay here, whether on business or short break in Tunis. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

A friendly hotel with a very welcoming environment.

We wear from may 7 until 17. We had very good time there. Staff are polite kind and helpful our room always were clean, I rally miss them.

The staff is great, very welcoming, very clean and comfortable room.
Note: Be careful with the taxi recommended by the staff of the Hotel to take you to the airport because the price determined at the start of the Hotel isn't the same once arrived at the airport. I think the hotel should monitor this situation, for not to stain their reputation.

Nice and clean. Great location and it has nice decoration. There isn't much variety in Breakfast. Free Wi-Fi and speed Internet.

Excellent hotel! I've been a client over the years and they never disappoint me. The service is always friendly and passionate and the workers have been there for years and I always feel they are family. Cosy beautiful room. Well situated and the new look is just marvellous. The reception has been renovated without delay and especially expanded with more space. 3 clients at the same time and everything is blocked. Otherwise the rooms are OK and the very courteous and very nice location. The breakfast room is modern bcp of choice but black coffee to avoid. Suggestion: put vending machines.

A great place for backpackers and those who are looking just for a place to sleep at night while they spend the day up and about town. In terms of pricing, you're looking at $ (cheap) considering that it is perfectly located at the center of Tunis (Avenue Bourgiba). For the four days I was there with my colleagues, we each paid about $216 compared to the $300-$1000 prices you will find at hotels like Africa Hotel, Tunisia Palace, etc. Carlton Hotel only serves breakfast, they don't do lunch or dinner and you won't be able to get/buy water if you're thirsty. Their breakfast is not much to speak off; It's more like a small "pick me up" in the morning to get you going. Staff are very accommodating and hospitable. I had an issue with my room on the 4th floor where the stench of sewer water from outside would seep in at random times into my room. I told the front desk and without hesitation told me that once a room was available the next day, they would assign it to me. Come the next day, they did just that, showing me the room (2nd floor) beforehand, and it was superb. In fact, a lot nicer that the one I was previously in; and for the same price. Would definitely go back again.

Only 5 stars reviews, mostly written by the same lazyass person that didn't even bother to check spelling. The level of bullshit is high on this one.
