I have only stayed one night so far and this hotel is amazing! I did pay high price do to full moon party but would definitely come back and stay here during the not so busy season! Breakfast is all American with so many choices! Rooms are big! A/c works great! They have a safe, fridge, mini bar, robes, hot water! Infinity pool that over looks ocean, free kayaking, yoga! They staff is very friendly and helpful! I 100% recommend this place and having a great time here as I type this review!

Such an amazing hotel with the most helpful staff. The resort is beautiful, clean, comfortable. And the food is delicious. Best pasta carbonara ever! And the breakfast buffet, wooow!

Located at once of the best corners around the Island, we had a wonderful time staying there for short period of 2 days, wished could have more days allotted to The Coast Resort and the Island. Minimalist designed room with no nonsense ideas. Pure relaxing environment, extremely courteous staff, you'll be all taken care off. They even helped us booked Marine park tour and required logistics while leaving. Will surely be there again during my next visit to Thailand, definitely for more days of stay.

We Have stayed 5 days in the hotel and both the treatment and cleanliness of the hotel are excellent breakfast very good the Olaya in front of the hotel is not the best but the pool is spectacular the reception team is very good all very friendly and helpful but especially Sandra An Italian girl gives the best deal to customers definitely a place to go back.

This place is pretty awesome, it's definitely more expensive than the smaller hotels that are close to town, but its updated and the staff is very friendly. I dont have anything bad to say about this place. I stayed in a garden view room the first 2 nights, and a suite the next 2 nights. They were both very nice rooms. Pictures are from the suite.

The hotel is beautiful and super comfortable. The service is excellent, all super friendly and attentive. The breakfast is correct but it doesn't stand out. The restaurant is also correct, what they prepare is very rich although I think there is a lack of variety, especially of seafood. The pool is fantastic and along with the beach, which is also beautiful, are an ideal combo to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets here you can enjoy. It is definitely a hotel to recommend in Koh Phangan.

Close to the Had Rin Pier (offering a free luxury transfer), the Coast is a beautiful beachfront hotel. The staff could not be more friendly, the beds are extremely comfortable, they offer free yoga classes and kayak rental without cost. One of the best hotels I've ever been to!

Great view! Very nice pool! Rooms are new and cozy. Go eat in haad rin area, lots of great food near by.

We planned to stay down the road at bird bungalow and made a last minute booking because it was just appalling there was a spider the size of my hand on the porch. The Staff at The Coast were really accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was beautiful we had a nice beach view. Location was great! Rooms were clean We really loved staying here.

Dont come to this hotel! Very expensive for very simple room. The prices in the Restaurant are very high for very small meal. I had very bad experience with the stuff.

Absolutely amazing and quiet hotel. If you want to chill and relax with a beautiful view this is the place for you in kho Pangan. The crew here is amazing and friendly, the room are basic but convenient but the pool here is definitely the cherry on top!

Really super place. Stayed here 2 years ago also. Great infinity pool just on the beach. Lovely rooms. Breakfast super, well staffed, fresh, organised and we felt very looked after. Staff can't do enough here for you. Oh and the pool bar with happy hour 4-6pm is deadly too! Very nice way to watch the sun go down! Should say there are no kids and it's mostly 25-35+ young professional. Sorry kids/parents! Only a short stoll up the beach into the centre of town. Great all round.

We had the opportunity to stay 3 nights in this great Resort. Nice scenery, pool location and of course great staff! Special thanks to Frank and Celina for good recommendations and their friendly and courteous appearance (Danke euch) we definitely recommend everybody who visits Ko Pha ngan to stay at this Resort!

Staying here for 6 nights, 2 nights in now. From our arrival with gorgeous Sandra, checkin was a breeze, and she showed the layout and to our room with a genuine warmth. Since our introduction, the service has stayed so warm and genuine, lovely friendly staff, that take pride in their work! Design is sublime, minimalist but very comfortable! Food/ cocktails! Beach / pool all wonderful! I'm a hard critic, but won over by the genuine warmth here, look forward to another 4 nights in paradise!

The rooms a dirty and the food is bad. They are beter options nesr this hotel that are way better!

We spend at the Coast hotel three nights on August 2017 and have only negative things to say. The rooms are very very small and basic. The 'delux room' have a shower and nothing else. The swimming pool is very little with a nerrow beach. No room service — you have to go to the small restaurant if you would like to have food in your room. Every room includes a TV which has only one single chanle. Everything is with additional cost including very expensive WFI. Moskitus are everywhere including in the rooms. The aircondition is not working properly, which makes it difficult to sleep and stay in the room at such hot Thailand weather. To summarize stay away from this hotel — it is not worth the money!

Beautiful hotel. All very new, clean and well arranged with cool design. The staff are amazing, all speak the best English I met around Thailand, very willing to help and very kind. Has nice breakfast and provides free shuttle to the Had Rin pear when you check out. Pool sitting for the hotel bar also and very good Wi-Fi.

The hotel is minimal and stylish. We enjoyed a room with views to the infinity pool and the beach. The room with view to the beach has a bathtub in the balcony and is big enough for two people with a big cabinet and fridge. We loved the atmoshphere in the hotel with the music and the bar in the pool. There are yoga classes everyday and you can also rent a kayak as complimentary. The location is very close to Hardi pier and there is a free shuttle, you can even buy the tickets for the ferry to Koh Samui in the hotel. The breakfast was great with Thai and Western choices. The staff from Myanmar was super helpful and friendly we enjoyed a lot talking with them. If you are planning to go to the full moon party the hotel has a great location. We enjoyed the sunsets with the bar, pool and the kayak.

I write this while we're sitting by the water, water peacefully lapping only 10 metres in front of us, eating our last buffet breakfast, on our last day In Thailand. The Coast has been an absolute paradise! We only had 3 days here, but wish we had 5. It's been excellent value for money, and I'm surprised no one has mentioned the restaurant. The Thai food from the restaurant is the best we've had. The staff are friendly, and I loved the yoga!

A five star resort but a bit loud at night times and the beach is not very comfortable.

The Coast was a beautiful hotel set against a beautiful background landscape. The pool/bar/restaurant/beach area was fantastic to relax in. Definitely a resort experience where you don't want or need to leave the grounds. The beach was pristine and we personally saw The Coast staff clean away seaweed at least twice during the day. The other guests were mature — we didn't have to deal with loud music or partying keeping us up. The rooms were clean and had a modern feel to them. In the month we'd spent in Thailand, The Coast also offered the most comfortable bed we'd slept in. Breakfast was a nice touch. The staff was OK. Not too friendly and not exactly rude, most seemed like they had a sense of superiority bordering on condescension. Also I'd be remiss not to mention one of the front desk clerks (a male with an Australian accent) was flat out rude and obnoxious to us. Not at all what you'd expect from a a "resort" experience. It left an incredibly bad taste in our mouths after an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Bottom line — we liked the place a lot! Everything was super clean, brand new, and the staff were extremely helpful. Location: Note that I wouldn't consider that as a walking distance from the center of the Haad Rin, or its main party beach. However, the hotel was (relatively) isolated from all of the noise, thus supplying a very nice, and calming atmosphere. Despite that — you're only 5 minutes of took took taxi drive away from the center (shouldn't cost more than 50-100 thb) Staf: Staff was super kind! We had a confusion with our beds preferring and the staff did the maximum to help us and make sure we will be happy. We also used them for recommendations and other small stuff. Pool/beach : Pool is amazing! Literally on the beach, while having bar access from the pool itself. Beach was relatively isolated, very quite and relaxing. Food: Kosher / vegetarian eaters wouldn't have too many option. Me and my friend who doesn't eat kosher/vegetarian ate there almost every day. I tried a lot of their vegetarian dishes, and frankly didn't like most of them. I think that eventually the thing I liked the most was there cheese and ham sandwich (ask them to make it "ham free"), and their onion rings which were delightful. The waitress are very nice, forever it always took ages for the food to be served! Cons / suggestion for improvement : * it's but reasonable to serve the food after so many time.

Staff, room, pool, beach, food — everything about this hotel was perfect! Would defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay on the island! They went the extra mile to help: me and my friend had pretty bad sun burn, so they took us to the pharmacy in the hotel car so we wouldn't have to walk in the sun! Wifi reaches all the way to the beach so you can make everyone jealous on facetime.

One word is enough to describe our stay here at The Coast in Phangan: excellent. We stayed for a total of 5 nights, the rooms and facilities were exactly as advertised and the location is even more beautiful, plus the staff and management is super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing hotel! Great service (Mei, Sun and Pikky especially) amazigly nice people and very welcoming hotel! The guests were young but not too young and the atmosphere was so GREAT! We loved everything. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We w33 and m47 are for the 5th time in Thailand, every time for at least 3 weeks and have quite a few hotel facilities or visited bungalows.
At the coast resort we agreed immediately, our leaderboard in square one to put in it.
Simple, elegant, clean, idyllic, quiet!
Only the powder sand beach is missing, but you can just have everything.

Everything was great. Nice pool. Nice rooms. Thank The coast for giving us the best Superior room available. Nice restaurant. Fantastic Pool. Very polite maids. The reservation staff were great (special thanks to Micky). I loved the hotel (best hotel on the Island). Hope they resolve the things I didn't like. The staff were great except the receptionists. They are not cooperative. They don't know much about the island. They just pretend to help you but actually they don’t even care. The day time receptionist (the European girl) wasted our time for many hours (1day and a half after I asked her) to call the accountant and ask him/her if he can charge us on card (she did it 20 minutes before our departure). When my girlfriend got sick, the night shift receptionist recommended us a nursery that charged us over 1500 bahts (about 500 US Dollars) for a simple diarrhea and caring her for 2 hours. She could just recommended us a cheaper place. I hope the manager of the hotel finds better receptionists (both night and day shifts).

I absolutely loved it! The resort is really modern and stylish, I especially liked the pool with the bar inside (nobody makes cocktails better than James! ). The beach is lovely, you can spend hours sitting there. Staff is really nice and helpful, with the general manager on top, who literally did everything he could for us. Also the location is great (not too busy but still close to Had Rin beach and full moon party).

Had a great time here. Near enough to Haad Rin town so you can walk to the shops, restaurants bars and the night-life beach (Haad Rin Nok) and even the pier (though the resort offer free transfers to this pier) while being just on the edge of town on the sunset beach (HR Nai) so that you feel like the resorts on a secluded beach with nothing else around. Perfect balance. The resorts cool (the pics speak for themselves) and the staff were great. Didn't want to leave, wish we'd not booked our next accommodation in Phuket. Oh well we'll be back.
