See Sea Backpackers House Hostel

I stayed at See Sea’s shortly after they re-opened with the new owners Matty and Sonny and I absolutely loved my stay! The dorms are nicely air conditioned with space for all your belongings. My favourite place is the outside terrace (with hot tub! ) The restaurant does amazing food, the hash stack is. And all the staff were super polite and friendly. Thank you See Sea, I can’t wait to come back!

It is time to warn that this is a disgusting man who spends his frustration by hitting the stray dogs and ours also this man did not understand that the animals here are at home unlike him!

Great staff, great location.

Boy is a very nice guy who is renting the rooms. Helped me out with translation when I had to repair my scooter :) funny, good energy hostel (of course depending on the people). Hostel is sweet, perfect for party. Good relatively calm location but not too far to reach when going to fullmoon.

Great spot! The owner Boy (that's his name) is awesome, anything you need he'll help you find it. The location is also great if you want to eat for cheap, there are plenty of good good shops around where you can get a freshly cooked thai meal for 50THB.

Quiet, affordable hostel with a peaceful sitting area in the back. Immaculately clean. Knowledgeable staff and all travel arrangements can be made here. A/C and hot showers. If you are looking for a party hostel this is not it. The area in the back is a good place to sit with friends and drink beer but otherwise this hostel is not the place to party. Want peace and quiet while you explore the island? This is the place for a cheap place to hang your hat.

The family that runs this place are the kindest people in Thailand! I went to the market with them, enjoyed speaking with them and they helped me arrange everything I needed. The only reason a star is missing is because the beaches nearby are not swimming beaches. However, the location is good if you want to go to parties.

Clean and cute little hostel. Low cost and perfect if you want to be located close to the parties the island has to offer but still be able to get a good night sleep! The host GG is absolutely lovely. She really goes above and beyond to make sure you feel at home and made my stay overall very pleasent! Food was delicious! Very comfortable and relaxing place, wonderful and friendly host named 'Boy' :) the only thing I didn't like is location, it was quite far from the center of the island and the pier.

Price-performance fit. Very well maintained house. Very friendly staff.

I will always remember, when owner welcomed me, sitting with me and explain me all the information about this fabulous island and surroundings. He is an artist. People make magic about places and mark difference. Perfect rooms, Wi-Fi, clean, temperature, they offers Thai food as well. It was a really pleasure to stay in this accommodation and to meet fantastic people. Thanks friends. I hope see you again. Good luck.

Booked this hostel with Jutha on Airbnb. She was so very helpful and accommodating, especially since we booked last minute for the full moon party. She connected us with her brother Boyd, who arranged to have us picked up at Thong Sala. He was so incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. We were two girls travelling and he managed to fit us into a private room, which we really appreciated. His hostel offered water, tea and coffee, as well, dinner in the evenings (for 59 baht) — the pad gra pow is a must, it's one of the best i've had in Thailand. We ended up having to stay an extra night just based on our next ferry, Boyd quickly ensured the room was available to us, in addition to helping us book our ferry and arrange for pick up! he was honest and helped us whenever we needed, always offering recommendations and guiding us throughout our stay. I would highly recommend See Sea Backpackers!

Best hostel you can get. Awesome food, party and accomodatiom.
