Such an amazing resort! Everything we hoped for and more!

Great spot to unwind, amazing views, food and service!

Come to this place with an open mind. Ask the staff questions about island cultures and tours for a better education. The amenities are so nice around the resort. We found that eating at the resort was not only convenient but stunningly beautiful with rolling storms coming from the ocean. Oh, and the food was magnificent. Take a cooking class with the restaurant staff, you won't be disappointed. Walk so many meters down the street and visit your first temple. Take a walk the opposite way and experience Lamai by walking to Grandfather and Grandmother rocks. One can experience the livelihood of Lamai's residents. On our walk back, we stopped and had a Papaya smoothie at a nearby coffee shop. Rocky's provides a wonderful base that allows you to enjoy many different avenues to your vacation. With the care their staff has put forward to making their visitors feel welcome. I give this place a 5 out of 5 stars.

The beautiful boutique hotel with awesome friendly staff! Attended a wedding at Rocky’s resort in early May. Hannah was incredibly the best hostess and was always available and connected to all the guests. She made sure we were all looked after and the event went smoothly without any issues. Hannah amazed me with her exceptional professionalism and attention to details. She provided a happy environment for all the guests. I would definitely stay at Rocky’s resort again.

We had our wedding at Rocky’s. Hannah and all the staff made our celebration unforgettable. The hotel and everyone there are amazing. I highly recommend it for a wedding venue or just as a place to relax and enjoy.

Beautiful and romantic resort with spectacular views of the sunset. There is a quiet and private beach and the food is really good quality and delicious. I'd recommend staying here when in Koh Samui!

This is one of my favorite hotels 🤩 This hotel is nestled on big rocks, hence its name. It's very atypical, it goes up and down. I love 🥰 The welcome is fantastic, the food offered in the restaurant is delicious, the rooms are spotless! The sea view is amazing! Highly recommend 😉

Stayed here with my partner between 17 Feb and 02 Mar. Great location with quiet private beach, attentive staff who gave great customer service. Lovely room with queen size comfortable bed with a great en suite. Will definitely return in the future.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff treated my little girl like a princess and accommodated a needy, anxious mum like a pro. They made our holiday so easy!

Amazing place and even better staff — completely surpassed our expectations. Great atmosphere, great food which is not expensive. The beach was lovely and iced water and fruit skewers were brought to our sunbed regularly. Free use of a kayak which was great fun. Our room was beautiful, lovely thoughtful touches. Even the bowl of water with fresh flowers in it to wash our feet made me smile. The resort was spotless and incredibly beautiful. An enchanting place which we will be so sad to leave It was our honeymoon and we are already planning on coming back to celebrate our 1st anniversary. Thankyou to June and all her fabulous staff.

Me & my partner stayed at Rocky's for 11 days. We both agreed that this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The hotel is beautifully decorated and each room represents traditional Thai culture. The site is very clean and the food is amazing. All of the employees can speak English and are very welcoming/ accommodating. The only bad thing we could say about Rocky's is that the bar and restaurant prices are very expensive and there is a service & tax charge on top of all food and drinks in which we were not aware of until the end of our stay. Overall I would highly recommend Rocky's Resort, but if you are looking for a budget holiday this may not be for you.

Rocky's resort is a superb resort at which to relax and unwind. It is small enough to not feel like just another number passing through, whilst still having all the amenities you want. So what is missing? Well a 7/11 or Family Mart would have been nice, as it was a long walk to the nearest one when I needed batteries at 11pm one night. It is true that you need a taxi to get to Lamai but we felt no need to go there other than to check it out one time. We were very content with the resort. The beach is ideal for sun lovers and the pool for swimming. The sea was never deep while we were there, you needed to wade out a good distance to have the water level above your chest. We were only there for 4 nights and five days but could have happily stayed longer and will return there again in the coming year. Recommended.

I loved this hotel. Everything is so beautiful and the staff were very friendly. Their slogan is "at Rockys you are family" and that really does feel true. Nothing is too much trouble and I loved the little extras they add like flip flops, a beach bag and sun hats for you to use during your stay. They hold theme nights every night and we did the beach bbq with a fire dance show and it was fantastic! The food in the restaurant and the Bistro is amazing, the best Thai curries I have had in Thailand! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. They provide free shuttles to local tourist areas but we loved the resort so much that we felt we didnt need to go anywhere else as they had everything you would want or need for a relaxing few days there. We loved it!

A wonderful hotel of human size or elegance flirts with refinement and exoticism. Very attentive staff, smiling and with little care. Lush vegetation delicious restoration. … nothing to complain about.

We had a lovely restful time. The resort is smaller than most which allows for that extra attention to detail and personal service. Plus you really get to know the staff which makes the stay even more special. They really look after you and it’s not fake or over the top. They become lovely friends that you don’t really want to say goodbye too

We had the Honeymoon suite (room 333) for 2 full weeks and highly recommend it for the view and serenity. Also front row seats for all the weddings from your balcony
A special mention is needed for Jun (General Manager), Jack, Add, Polly, Koi and Kyaw also our housemaid who we nicknamed Smiley! Apologies if I forgot anyone that deserved a special mention.
All the staff are wonderful in fact.

The hotel is stunning and service is impeccable the only down side I found is that it's a little bit out of the way. It's a good 45 min run up to chewang, about 500b in a taxi. This was the only down side, other than that an amazing relaxed place.

Great Hotel what a pleasure to have stayed at this hotel! The rooms are spacious and well decorated.
The views are still uneven and we had to negotiate with the management to have a better view (we recommend the 804 in the range room with sea view, it is superb). There is everything on the spot to have a good holiday. 2 swimming pools, 2 different restaurants, 2 bars, attentive staff.
To get better prices during the hollow period, do not hesitate to call the hotel directly to get a better price (10 000 BAT for a chambrequi overlooks the beach).

Amazing room overlooking the sea with 5-star service including nightly turn-down, weekly manager's cocktail reception and free sea kayaking. 200 baht to Lamai and 500 to Chaweng by taxi. Great buffet breakfast with a la carte egg dishes.

What a wonderful 10 days we had in Rocky's, the torrential rain couldn't dampen our time at the resort. Upon arrival our room allocation was missing it's promised upgrade but this issue was resolved in minutes by the amazing Ariane.
We had a Garden Pool view room and it was fantastic. Outside seating balcony overlooking the pool, lounge area, massive bed, all very comfortable. The attention to detail, outstanding. We ate a few times in the hotel as rain stopped play, tha…nk Rocky's for the large golf umbrellas provided.
We took a half day tour of the island and the free shuttle into Lamai to break up the days. The garden pool is large enough for all those wanting to relax during the day with Banana keeping guests hydrated and the occasional fruit kebab. Our only negative comment would be to ensure valuables are put into the safe. Thailand we will definitely be coming back. Top tips :
Walk out of the hotel and turn right 5 minute walk just past Murcure hotel we were recommended Sabeinglae Restaurant, was not disappointed. Fresh fish and shellfish and so reasonably priced. 10 minutes walk and you are at family mart for all your bits and pieces Chang beer 47b (bargain). Walk out and left on a Wednesday evening for about 10/15 minutes and the night market for food with locals is located at the Chinese temple. Lovely atmosphere great street food choices.

Wow. This is what the word boutique was invented for. Personalised attention. Happy staff who are there for your every need. Martin, Ariane, Keng, Banana and loads of others — thank you for making our stay unforgettable. Our room was huge, comfortable and had a wonderful view. The breakfasts were copious and delicious, with enough variety that we felt eager for breakfast even on day 9, a lovely thoughtful breakfast box prepared for our departure day. The pools are lovely (bigger than they look in the website photos). The restaurant turned out delicious food. Snacks are thoughtful and tasty (pad Thai at the poolside was really special). We were lucky enough to enjoy several evenings of lovely musical and dance entertainment and launching krathongs for Loy Krathong was a lovely touch. We are sad to be leaving and will be back. The location is great for a quiet time. If you’re looking for boozing and clubbing this ones probably a bit far out of town but it suited us perfectly. I would recommend hiring a car. If it’s your first time on the island it may feel a little chaotic, but it was actually really easy to drive around. Such a lovely couple of weeks.

My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights and it was perfect! Our room was large, very clean and the ocean view was spectacular. The staff is very attentive and the service is top notch. The food here is also amazing. Breakfast was delicious and every night that have a themed dinner. We had the Thai night dinner with the traditional Thai dancers and it was delicious. They have a shuttle that takes you to town which is a nice perk. The grounds are beautiful and the multiple pools are great! We will definitely be back!

We had such a great experience at this amazing Resort! From the incredible breakfast to the extremely helpful staff. They have two pools at this property, and some of the most beautiful beaches on Koh Samui. The general manager here Martin is great and makes the experience even more memorable. We would definitely come back here, we absolutely love the stay. I highly recommend renting one of the Beachfront Suites.

Great place to relax. Comfy beds and stylish bathrooms. Helpful staff who can help with entertainment during your stay. Good for swimming. Only lost a star on the food, I'm not the biggest thai food fan and their european dishes are quite lack luster. Would recommend.

I love this place. I also have a wonderful experience here. The resort is beautiful and cozy. The staff are very friendly and warm welcome. Don’t miss BBQ buffet on the beach on every Thursday night. They have fire dance show. I was impressed so much. Unfortunately, my phone cannot took a photo of buffet line because it was in a low light situation. About breakfast, Thai noodle is very tasty and eggs menus are delicious.

We love Rocky, we have been eating there for years and the quality of the food, even their buffet nights is excellent. Both the pool restaurant and the main sea side one is excellent. Can't go wrong here.

A fabulous, fairly small & cosy place with a sense of luxury all around without being austentatious. Extremely comfortable and quiet accomodation yet a very friendly environment. Staff are delightful & extremely obliging from the manager to the most humble employee. 2 lovely pools, one higher up, away from the beach, closer to most accomodation and secluded amongst palm trees. The other lower pool is close to the small private beach. There are 2 excellent main restaurants plus satellite bars and eating options. Highly recommended. One cautionary note for those with significant walking difficulty: the resort is set on a hillside with some steep steps linking much of the accomodation to the beach and main beach level restaurant. Accomodation at beach level is available but in limited numbers.

It's an easy going place with friendly staff, good views and delicious food. Lots of green areas and a private beach makes it easy for everyone to find a place that suits his needs.

Nice and quiet hotel. Service is good. We had a two bedroom villa. Although a bit old, but well maintained.

We had a wonderful experience here. We ate dinner in both the restaurant the Bistro most nights and both are fantastic. Quite often the restaurant will have some kind of event each night such as a fire dance or Thai dance. Breakfast every morning was amazing and included in our package — this meant buffet and hot orders from the kitchen. The beds are firm which we love and the view from our room was to die for. Most of all, the staff are what made it for us. These people try their hardest to bring you into the fold of their family and they really do look after you. The resort itself is so well managed and so clean. We loved it.

Difficult to put less than 5, this establishment has little defect. First of all If you speak English, book directly on their website. The reservation Manager (Ning) is hyper responsive and efficient and made us a great price the day before our arrival in Koh Samui (the hotel's basic rates are already 4 times cheaper than on several online booking sites). If not what to say, two restaurants, very good but expensive compared to local restaurants, two swimming pools, a small private beach, billiards, super rich breakfasts with about twenty recipes offered, rooms very spacious and comfortable, super Dėco and excellent staff. Very family atmosphere and very nice meetings around the swimming pools. In short, we strongly recommend!

Great stay with courtesy and kindness.

Friendly staff. Good service. Nice food… but this is perhaps reflected by the cost of eating at the on site restaurants. You generally get what you pay for. There are some things included. Breakfast. Which is good. Free use of Kayaks and a happy hour cocktail night where the drinks are free. Very relaxing place.

Average food, they make adverbs in the magazine with dishes, which are not coinside with the menu… was disappointed, cuz had 5* expectations on the way here… not better than any 3* hotel caffee.

Truly a beautiful place to stay — the grounds are lovely and the rooms are very tastefully decorated. The downside is that we were only able to stay the one night — I could/should have spent much longer here. We initially stayed in a much cheaper place down the road, which was pleasant enough, but this was perfectly executed luxury and well worth the price.

I found so relaxing and pleasant place to stay with my family, after long air journey. Rocky's Boutique, hospitality and friendly feelings, that we received. We would recommend, this Resort to those who are looking for picefful and secluded place for rellecsetion. Staying only 4. Days at Rocky's, we decided to return next year again.
