This is a top hotel. Well run, clean, friendly staff, good food, excellent service and amazing facilities. We’ve been here 4 days and I’m totally relaxed and honestly want for nothing more. Sadly only have one day left, wish we’d booked for longer.

The most amazing resort, restaurant and staff. My husband and I married here at the beginning of the month and the whole experience was just incredible. Huge thanks to our wedding coordinator Amanda for her attention to detail, patience and quick thinking! 100% recommend!

The restaurant is elegant while staying in the Thai setting, the service is perfect and what about food aside: go there with your eyes closed.
We go there regularly whether it's at the restaurant or the beach and we can only give positive notes.

I had a wonderful time in SALA Samui Choengmon. Everything was amazing especially the staffs. They all were helpful and nice. The place was so serene. If you want to escape the chaos, I would recommend this resort.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sala Samui Choengmon Beach. Such a lovely peaceful atmosphere, fabulous food & wonderful staff. Sadly we had to leave a few days early due to the Covid-19 pandemic causing flight chaos. We have already been planning our return trip for next year & genuinely can’t wait ❤️

Fantastic room in beautiful surroundings we booked double room with sea view. Bathroom was beautiful and gave the wow factor to the spacious room. Not to mention the next wow factor the balcony view. Would definitely recommend set back from the main road with motorcycle and car hire a few steps away from the hotel and breakfast included this was a fantastic find on Booking. Com.

Such a great place with nice and friendly staff. The pool vila is a must. Food is great, drinks are great and the beach is amazing with almost no tourists. Also I wanted to relax, so there is not much party in SALA or nearby, which is great. The village has family marts, Seven 11 and some nice restaurants. Airport is only 15 minutes. Absolute recommendation.

Great service from the moment we arrived. There are lots of things to do right next to the resort. Everyone is extremely helpful and polite. So far it has been amazing.

Beautiful very long and quiet beach, hteat for a long walk or run. Clean with tiny resorts bordering. It looks like high tide pretty much takes over the beach.

I’m on the last day of my vacation, and loved this resort. I traveled alone after a long business trip. It is mostly families and honeymooners, but that was fine. The breakfast is lovely and well prepared with fresh juices and strong coffee. The room was very nice, but would be tight for more than 2 people. All the staff are super friendly. The beach is quiet and clean. They do have paddle boarding and kayaking as noted, but only one of each. There are some small shops, restaurants and convenience store nearby. I brought a ton of mosquito repellent, but didn’t need any of it. Would definitely come again.

Sala Samui is one of our favorite restaurants in the island. It has a great outdoor setting by the beach, much nicer than almost all other places on Samui. The menu has a variety of Thai dishes that are very well prepared. The sauces here are authentic with a touch of fusion flair. Stick to the Thai part of the menu.

Great location on propably the most beautiful beach of Samui. Had lunch here by their pool, very tastefull meal. Serving employee did not seem to be relaxed, maybe even a bit rushed.

Place is nice. Travel with my wife and 22 month's boy. The people around keep smiling. A little unhappy to the door lock always took me awhile to unlock it. Mosquitoes will be your neighbours but not to worry staff will place some aroma to chase them away, make sure you prepare some insect repellent. Restaurant was also nice but pricey. Those who might want budget authentic Thai food can try outside. Do make sure you should at least try their dinner course 1 time as their setup is romantic. Breakfast was nice also. I like the best part is unlimited order. Overall a 4 stars due to the over price.

Amazing service! The Sala private villa was fantastic. One of the best places I've stayed in. Breakfast selection was wonderful and tasted great. Wish we stayed here longer. Also right on the beach and had an amazing adults infinity pool. Highly recommended!

I stayed at Sala for my honeymoon and had a lovely time. The staff was great and the property is beautiful. It was a little different than my expectations from the photos and details online, but it's a wonderful place to stay. Choengmon Beach was our favorite beach on Ko Samui. It wasn't as busy as the other more popular beaches. The SALA definitely makes an effort to control the mosquitos but my wife and I were bitten so many times. My wife's ankle was swollen for most of the trip due to an open wound that developed from a bad reaction. Wife didn't get to go for a swim until the last night. Despite all that my wife and I had a great time staying at the Sala. We plan to go back but fully prepared to do battle with the mosquitos next time. If you can afford it I'd definitely recommend getting the private pool. Wife and I will definitely be going with that option next time.

Gorgeous and very beautiful place! I did not have a chance to live, but every time I went through Sala to the beach, constantly looked in the courtyards of detached villas and envied everything there was oo.

Great hotel, our room I had the bathroom open, without the ceiling, very original. The private Pool A little small but you don't have to swim so it's fine. Very good breakfast and a very varied menu. High prices at the bar of the drinks, always increased by 17%. Disappointed by the beach: Nice sand, but the sea basically almost ate everything… not to mention the cleaning conditions some meters to the right or left… just take 4 steps and garbage everywhere. In front of the hotel the beach is clean and tidy.

One of the best hotels in samui. Right next to the beach, extremely friendly stuff and the facility, especially the sala pool villa is outstanding. We especially liked all the small details and service to make the stay an unforgettable experience.

Quiet beach, with hot couches. Only two crappy jetskis on the water, very good food for little the same is true for the massages.

Stayed here for 6 nights. From our arrival to our departure, the staff was lovely and helpful during our stay, and made it unforgettable, especially for our night engagement! The pool villa, the location right on the beach, the breakfasts…

We can wholeheartedly recommend staying at SALA Samui after having spent 6 days at this resort in January. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, the staff is very friendly, and the food is excellent. We stayed at a suite with its own private pool and loved every second of it. It's something worth the extra money, if you can afford it. The AC in the room works great on hot and humid days, the pool will refresh you, the outdoor shower is wonderful, and there's plenty of room to sunbathe or sit in the shade. With your own TV, fridge, bathtub, and desk you won't miss much, really. We also really enjoyed the beach, the water remains calm and starts soft before going deeper. The massage places along the beach offer a wonderful 60min back massage for 350 Baht (about $12). There's plenty of food in and outside of the hotel and a close-by convenience store carries decently cheap and diverse goods. You can find good restaurants in and outside of the hotel as well, though the hotel will always be more pricey, of course (still reasonably priced, compared to food in the States). The breakfast is excellent and offers a variety of European, American, and Thai food. Don't miss out on freshly pressed juices at the bar for breakfast (all included). In January 2018 there was construction going on next to the hotel. Our room was as far away as possible which is why we barely noticed it, but if you are sensitive to this, check whether the construction is over by the time you arrive.

All the staff is so Kind, everything is clean, pools are so lovely and what about the villa! Wow! I never got such a nice room. Honestly it’s a real good deal, yes it’s expensive but you get so much in here! Thank you so much everybody! We don’t want to leave!

The staff cannot do enough for you. The hotel is beautiful, the food exceptional. Each morning is a delight, the breakfast buffet so original, alot of thought and care goes into every detail here at Sala.

Excellent, couldn’t be better. There was construction going on while I was there but it will have to be the best resort I’ve been to in my lifetime.

All service personnel are very cordial and enthusiastic, especially in some of the details above, to arrange the sitting position, the back and forth repeatedly to view the guests needs and take the initiative to ask, every night back to the room finishing is very clean, and every Manager of the different Acknowledgements and tips, room service are many free options, restaurants, beach, good weather beautiful, the restaurant at the standard is very high big recommend! My next trip to Samui or will live in this room, the large pool should be the 25-meter very nice.

We took the villa with private pool. It is just perfect. Worth every dollar.

There are currently (December 2017) piling work around the resort and it is noisy. The resort inform the customers only one day before there arrival so they do not cancel. It is a shame! Avoid this resort!

Very nice resort near the airport. The neighborhood is a bit quiet, with only a handful of restaurants and bars nearby. The location is windy year round per the locals, something we wished we knew before booking. There was only a bit of rain, but the ocean was rough and full of debris making it un-swimmable. The resort itself is beautiful. There are two pools side-to-side. The rooms are fantastic. Wi-Fi is fairly stable. Check-in was a bit disorganized and there were a few snafus that you wouldn’t see in a 5 star resort but overall service was good. TL;DR: lovely resort, but location leaves much to be desired.

Was upgraded to a one bedroom pool suite. Beautiful rooms with always lovely staff. Looking forward to visit again.

Excellent hotel. We were upgraded to a room with private pool which was brilliant! (We now need one in any hotel stay! ) But even without that the service and facilities were all great. Outside bathroom took a little getting used to but proved fine. Cocktails were were well made at the beach bar and beach only a few steps from the hotel with paddle boards etc. For use. Location good too, i. E. Not far from airport and also a few other sites like the big buddah. Id come back.

Great rooms with large pool and privacy. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is well maintained. Beach is beautiful but swimming is not great in July time, not much visibility or too shallow. Staff is ok in average, especially the responsible guy for the beach bar and pool is quite unfriendly with children and also did wrong bills. In general better to eat outside, do the laundry outside, do massage outside etc, as the hotel prices are very expensive comparably and not better at all. Diving is ok, go to Sail Rock, has lots of fish. Internet is annoying, you habe to login 5x a day at least.

Great resort. Very clean, amazing service, good good and drinks. They really make you feel relaxed. The beach it's on is very quiet too.

Though I didn't stay in the resort itself, I got to enjoy the beautiful beach in front of the resort, the cozy pools, and the great customer service at the bar. The place is very clean and an excellent location to grab a chair and relax. The staff knew we were not staying in the resort, they treated us extremely nice regardless and let us use their pools and chairs. Prices at the bar were a little more expensive than other places around, but the food was delicious.

Pool room very well, worried about mosquitoes at night, not actually. Booking says on the beach dirty problem does not exist, hotel in front of beach pebbles, walking on the beach is very good, and huahin.

Try the ocean view pool villas if you really want to spoil yourself, everything is top notch here.

This resort is undeserving of its 5 stars — the service is appalling. Some staff members are borderline sexist and service around the pool and beach area is slow. The rooms are nothing special and the overall design of the hotel is very flat. The pool and beach are very crowded. On the beach, you are constantly being harassed by various beach merchants. Overall despicable. Do not go there.
