Perfect place to relax and enjoy holiday with amazing view from the pool to the crystal clear water on the sea. We stay in a Villa Suite and it feels like home! Top service from all staffs. Foods and beverages are excellent and their price is reasonable. We were so happy there.

The Resort is located on one of the most beautiful sections of the beach of Chaweng, you can take a walk (in one direction), endless on the beach. The Hotel offers to fixed dates (for a small fee) Shuttle to the shopping center "Festival" to Chaweng (50. — baht p. P. ) and Friday night market in Fisherman's Village (10. — baht p. P). The Breakfast is for Thai standards very extensive and varied. There is fresh fruit and dried fruit, omelettes, boiled eggs etc. Cereals, jam, sausage, every Morning a different soup, 2-3 hot dishes, sausages, Pancakes, fresh waffles, rice cakes, pastries … The plant is divided Mainly in small Cottages, beach, may, beachfront bungalows and rooms in a larger building complex, which I, however, would not be meaningful.

Beautiful beach, pretty quiet, with the pool we were also satisfied. Apartments are clean, with shower under open skies. The staff is very friendly, accommodating but not intrusive. I find the price performance reasonable. We want to come back next year.

Nice view. However no service and impolite staffs. I will never stay at this hotel again. My husband and I did not feel welcome in this hotel however I saw all staff only welcome western foreigners. So if you are not western foreigners, you really need to reconsider seriously when making yr decision to book this hotel.
Booked hotel car pickup but the staff held up the paper with wrong name on it. I had to seek help from other hotel's staff to find the driver from New Star. Most of the staff (including the manager (I guessed he was the manager) who just passed by us nearby beach and pool side bar did not greet with us) (only had about 3 staff were courtesy and greeted with us). We stayed in pool villa in the first 2 nights. However the airconditioner had noise in the mid night intermittently from 3am to 6am and We had been woken up. We complained but no one apologised to us. We called front desk and complained at 5am. The staff said we could change room as there s room available. She told us whenever we were ready, we just called front desk or went to front desk. However when I called around 10am, the staff received my call impolitely and did not have any record about our case. That showed there had management problem and bad internal communication. After we talked to front desk manager again, the problem was solved. So we could have better sleep for the last 2 nights.

Very nice, quiet, sophisticated and well maintained facility. Without parties, drunk people or loud music. The cottages have enough distance from each other, so that the neighbors don't hear anything and are not disturbed. You feel like in the middle of the jungle/paradise. The beach is by far the cleanest in the vicinity.
There would also be enough beds on the beach or by the pool, if the "typical German Mallorca tourists" would reserve their couches early from 7 o'clock and then stay for hours.
Breakfast is very varied and tasty. Staff always friendly and helpful, it will read almost every wish from the eyes. Our cottage was a little over the years and needed a little renovation. We would have liked to have storage facilities for the bathroom towels and a little more closet space in our room. The free Wi-Fi was often very slow. However, these small deficiencies do not diminish the overall impression of the plant. This is a holiday like in paradise. For those who love nature and little concrete, this is the best place.

Nice resort with small bugs.
We spent a week here. First I had to demand the promised sea view when checking in. The cottage bungalow is spacious but oddly divided and unfortunately without a desk. Internet is good and reliable. The shower door is getting used to. It squeaks extremely loud when opened and has very sharp edges on the handles.
The grounds are nice and the first dinner on the beach was perfect. The staff is always very friendly and professional.
The pool is great and is right by the sea. Also the beach is clean and well maintained. Unfortunately weather-induced big waves and constantly red flag himmerhin there is one.
The breakfast is ok but manageable. The coffee is horrible. Unfortunately, smoking is allowed everywhere.
Overall, we felt comfortable.

It was or is just a dream. The private beach, the staff are top pure relaxation! The rooms were clean and very nice also the size and the outdoor shower! Those who come here must also have the romantic Dinner on the beach, taste the only thing the Chinese are worse than the Russians but since the Hotel can nothing for!

The new star is a really well maintained and clean hotel. It has a very nice bar and pool area and also the beach is very quiet and very clean. The prices are reasonable for the hotel. The hotel is very popular with Europeans and is apparently happy to be booked. Highly recommended.

Great beach, friendly service, the rooms aren't new. Mediocre breakfast, the coffee is horrible. Location is near noisy night disco Bar.

Beautiful grounds! Very nice beach, staff extremely accommodating and very friendly! I am the first time in Thailand and this is definitely a great first impression for me. No matter if you travel alone, as a couple, as a family or with friends this hotel has something for everyone! I would book this hotel again. PS: The BBQ on the beach is also highly recommended!

Wonderful resort. Beautiful gardening nice cottage by the beautiful beach. Employees are very kind and useful. Great and elegant restaurant and breakfast with a lot of variety. Shades of the cottages and lighting can be improved.

The location of the resort is very good amid a tropical garden right on the quiet beach. The rooms are very spacious and quiet. The food at the pool restaurant is excellent and the staff totally nice and caring. A private security guards the facility and is very anxious for the well-being of the guests. Unfortunately the beach is rarely cleaned (1 x in 2 weeks) and the many Chinese guests spit at breakfast, by the pool and on the beach unrestrained by the area and are uncomfortable noisy. Otherwise top.

Yes I have to say you feel comfortable right away and you are welcome very good location with good connection to the city. You can either walk to Chaweng in the evening which takes only 20 minutes or with the collective taxi at 100 Barth. The sea is super nice and the beach clean. Oh yes the kitchen here at the hotel very very good, I just say the green curry a dream. Just outside the resort are a few restaurants where you can also eat very well and cheaply as almost always in Thailand.

The hotel is great. We went there in October. The beach is very nice and staffs are very helpful. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that we had a great experience. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. Our room (pool villa) is spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom is huge. They have outdoor rainshower, indoor shower, and a bathtub in our room. It's my first time trying outdoor rainshower and surely won't be my last. I would highly recommend it to anyone who go to Samui.

We had a great time, very knowledgeable and friendly staff, all the Resort clean, the food is good and the cocktails phenomenal.

Very nice sea side resort hotel especially for family. We stayed 2 nights and 3 days in Samui island. We woke up early in the morning to see rising the sun. It was so nice. If you would like to go to snorkeling, recommend to book separate tour.

Beautiful rooms and fine attention to detail. Our party of 4 loved the large connecting rooms that opened into a perfect shared space during the day and closed for total privacy at night. Each room is filled with beautiful furniture and wonderful accents that create a solid 5-star experience. The pool and beach area is absolutely first class and the staff here really go the extra mile. If you’re visiting Koh Samui you’ll really enjoy this resort.

Very nice place! Staff/facility/beach/big pool are all good. Swimming pool towels are too old… One way Shuttle fee from airport to resort is 500B. Motor rental fee is 300B per day, gas excluding. Recommend Mama restaurant where is at the opposite of the resort.

By the standards of Thailand, the hotel is good. Interesting territory. Great beach, especially for kids. Very good entrance. The people on the beach are very modest. The number fund is a few startovat. Interesting enough. There are small waterfalls. But because of the fresh water in these waterfalls, there was a mosquito in the room, which was not met by Phuket and, in small numbers, in Pattaya. Very private. The main problem with this hotel is food. The local restaurants are just a normal breakfast. Lunch and dinner on a very restricted menu, which is poorly suited for a child with a normal diet (hamburgers and fried potatoes). Prices breakfast good for Ty. Shakes at 150 butt. The second problem with the hotel is distance from civilization. There's no decent café on the exit. Massage parlours on the road. It's not like the sound of mopeds. We have to go to civilization. Taxi 300 butt. Moped-100. The Chaweng itself is no more than the second Street on Katya Beach. Louis Vajetonn, seafood, massage, Central fest. Mango, for an unknown reason, is 200-250 butt for kg. There's no such price tag on melt. Anyway, it's expensive. Maybe we should go here one time. Phuket is the golden midpoint. As long as the rebidding of speakers does not share. For that money, you can run in the Maldives for a season that's not included. The weather is happy. Honey.

Great hotel. Excellent sea and beach. Few people, because the Entrance to the beach through the hotel grounds, which only allowed guests.

Caveat: The hotel is very well suited especially for peace-seeking couples. If anyone's looking for a hotel, there is no constant noise of children and the party mile is just a short drive, is found in the new Star Beach Resort like a King!

The beach is gorgeous. The staff and service excellent. We're staying the most economical cottage and is anyway a private cottage. Lay top with foam mattress leather and wicker Daybeds. Every day they give clean towels for the beach. Cute even 3 happy hour.

Well run hotel in a good location. The staff is well trained and helpful (also English speaking). Everything is always clean and a high standard of quality. Recommended.
