Yet again another visit to this beautiful resort, it comes highly recommended, the staff make the hotel great, I could not wish for a better holiday. For those of you a little apprehensive about staying I can honestly say you get a better than 5 star service, rooms are clean, well equipped with air con, hairdryer, tv, kettle, robes, slippers, safe, umbrellas, fridge, complimentary tea coffee water, towels provided daily for beach. You certainly would not get this in Europe. Staff are absolutely fabulous, they take care of your every need, great food, cocktails, and a friendly family atmosphere. We will definitely return, thank you baan Samui see you next time xxxxx.

Our first trip to Thailand and we weren't disappointed. What a wonderful place, perfect location right on the beach, close to everything. Lovely rooms and fantastic staff. Excellent food from the restaurant, good choice for breakfast.
Special thanks to Tan for our 'one tea, one coffee' every morning. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Rooms are an excellent size with super powerful air conditioning.
We hope to return soon.

If I’m honest it’s not our usual choice of hotel but I have to say it’s wacky it’s ace the staff are great rooms are clean and it’s on the beach, location is spot on too would definitely recommend Baan Samui Resort.

Once again we had great holiday and the staff as usual were fun to get on with the facilities were good, plenty of choice of different foods looking forward to returning next year.

This is our 6th time here. We’ve come alone as a couple & with friends & relatives & its always wonderful! The staff are beautiful & sweet & very helpful. Baan Samui is central to everything, & are beachfront location
We have tried other resorts, but always come back to Baan Samui. It’s like coming home.

Very nice and colorful hotel in the center of Ko Samui. The property is simple and welcoming. The perfect location if you want to stay in the center of the island.
The rooms are large and quiet and overlook a beautiful garden. It's a short walk from the sea.
The pool is very large and clean.
The restaurant is also clean and eats well. European and American cuisine.
Breakfast is great with a good assortment both sweet and salty.
The staff are smiling and friendly.
The rooms have some details to care for more and to fix but the level of cleanliness is very good and this is the most important thing.
The area is very rich in locals, so if you love the tranquility I recommend moving slightly.

Very nice hotel in Samui. Directly on the beach and in the center of the village xcio comudo x eat … shopping and nightlife. Comfortable rooms, spotless, staff stracious and at the restaurant you eat great. We had a really good time.

Oh my God! Where do I start… our 5th time back here at Baan Samui and what better place to have our wedding but here — of course! Organised over email, communication was easy, planning and preparation was sensational and excitement building. We arrived 5 days before the wedding and the excitement from the staff was so powerful. The passion and enthusiasm that accompanied every detail was amazing. On the day, Akey didn’t want to work on reception and so stayed with ‘the girls’ and looked after us. Honestly if you thought the Royal wedding was big, ours was spectacular. Everyone from all over the island was here to watch the ceremony at 5pm. The celebrant was amazing (organised by Baan Samui), hair and makeup was amazing (organised by Baan Samui) and the drinks and food were amazing. What a a fabulous place, amazing staff (thank you Susi and Akey and the amazing Tan) and it is our home away from home. My score 10/10! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Until next year — keep watering our plant and keep your beautiful smiles going! … and keep looking at the wedding photos! Kerryn and Joe Martorana xxx.

Nice resort. Quite in the centre of Chaweng Beach but cozy and quiet inside. More a family-oriented hotel but in walking distance to bars, clubs and literally hundreds of restaurants in Chaweng Beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nicely decorated and perfectly clean rooms. Amazing beach area operated by the hotel with drinks, food, sunchairs, towels… everything.

Very good location in Chaweng, and on the beach, very friendly staff made our stay very comfortable, Tan the restorent manger and all the staff all deserve 10 out of 10.

Were back in March 2018 as always it was super.

Summary: A good bargain hotel in a great location with suitable amenities and a very friendly and helpful staff. Booking: We originally attempted to book online, but noticed that all rooms indicate a maximum of 3 people, so we emailed them to inquire about our family of 4. They were happy to let us stay as long as we got a roll-a-way bed for 600 baht per night. We paid a total of 4, 800 baht (~$160) per night for our stay in the second half of March. Breakfast is included with this rate and they have a decent all you can eat breakfast area with hella variety and a smiling wait staff. Arrival: The staff is nice (extremely affectionate to children) and the location is right on the beach. They welcomed us with pineapple juice and cookies, which was nice. They also carried our bag to the room. Rooms: We got a Superior Deluxe Room on the ground floor. With the roll-a-way bed, the room is a bit tight with minimal free space. Lighting is poor unless you have the window shades opened. Beds are on the very firm side and the linens are suitable. They have a separate shower and bath. Most common hotel conveniences are provided — safe, mini-fridge, robes, etc. Location: Located on the main street, you can walk to a variety of local or western restaurants as well as any shopping stalls you may want to visit. There are two on premise Restaurants — one in front that has a band most nights and one on the beach that is more romantic.

The hotel is not 4 stars. The rooms smell of damp. The place where Breakfast is very unkempt, dirty. Tables and chairs are sticky. The Breakfast is continental, no frills. Sorry, made a mistake with the hotel.

Friendly staff but to the centrality of the hotel you have to give up some inconvenience such as the obsolescence of the structure, prices much higher, used by all the surrounding rooms, compared to the more decentralized.

Nice hotel on the beach. The rooms were always clean. The pool was clean and well maintained. Good security Staff are excellent and friendly Easily accessible by car Entertainment every night Food and drink at the hotel are expensive. The best thing for us was to go to the food across the street from the hotel to Chaweng Night Market Food Center and get food there. Would recommend.

Below average. Mosquito city! could be to do with the large pots that are filled with water outside the rooms, very noisy and basic decor I think they try to be like a Mexican guest house. Restaurant avoid! Happy hour wines 200 baht then ended up being 190. Go figure! Reflects in the price I suppose. Do NOT do the cooking class offered as well! The one run by the funny day safari it seriously sucks.

This is our first time in Koh Samui. Baan Samui resort is beach front location. It's fantastic. Breakfast offers a great variety. Hotel staff are very friendly. We love it here and will be back again in the future. Pool water temperature is great too. Happy hour prices are reasonable as well. Hotel is situated in great location across the road from convenience store and near restaurants. Happy to recommend.

Love it: not the best hotel, not the worst. BUT we keep going back, 4th time we have stayed there. Staff are excellent. Rooms are interesting, it is Thailand. Ground areas are excellent. Hotel is unusual when you arrive, as the frontal area does not look like a hotel. Once inside you will be greeted & made to feel very welcome. You can either use the pool or the beach. Across from the main entrance is a small supermarket, which will cater for most needs. There are plenty of choices to eat on the area. Probably to many cuisines, it does get confusing. Try the Chaweng Night Market Food Center. But I have to admit some of my friends would not like the Hotel, or the area, but it is Thailand. Best way I can describe is: we keep going back & can not wait until the next time, hopefully it will be soon. You will not have high blood pressure here…

Welcome home… My Second Home.

Really lovely place combining rustic style in vibrant colours with slick beach bar-restaurant. Attractive asymmetric pool with 'waterfall' features surrounded by palm, and other, trees. Food excellent and staff wonderfully friendly (like all Thais). Great position on Chaweng beach — neither too far nor too close to the 'action' around theArk Bar. Bedrooms maybe need a bit of TLC here and there but they're clean, adequately roomy and have nice balconies overlooking the gardens. Thank you Baan Samui, wish we were staying longer.

The Baan Samui Resort is great place to go and relax. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We have been spending our holidays therefor the last 5 years. We would totally recommend the resort for your next holiday.

This is the second time we will have been to the Baan Samui The staff are brilliant the hotel is in a great location plus its right on the beach Entertainment every night you can have an evening meal on the beach nothing to much trouble would highly recommend.

Very nice hotel with incredibly friendly staff. The rooms were always Clean. The pool and beach were well maintained, the hotel was guarded by security Throughout.
The Wi-Fi was very bad and quite expensive, otherwise there is absolutely nothing to complain About.

Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Central location. Best spot on the beach. Unpretentious paradise.

Is located in Chaweng Street on the South, go north 500 meters the most prosperous! Overall good.
