We recently returned from Koh Samui and absolutely loved staying at the Amari with our 2 young daughters. The staff were amazing! The quality of service was spectacular with special shout out to the manager Wee who went above and beyond to make us feel like family by offering honest suggestions on where to buy specific items and where to visit. Beer at concierge for always making a flower out of a plant leaf almost daily for our daughter and always putting a smile on her face. Lastly Moji and Cream at Amaya for the warm welcome and for interacting/playing with our baby each morning at breakfast. The rooms were spacious, pools were great for young and old and food was fantastic also. We'd happily recommend staying at the Amari 👌

Very relaxed and chilled out, with 2 really nice pools and on a nice beach. The rooms aren’t huge but they are comfortable and have everything you need. Very friendly and hospitable staff.

This is the 5th trip to Koh Samui and we rate the Luxury Escape package not only for its price but also the Resort is central, luxurious, clean and friendly staff. For Au 1999, 8 nights, 3 dinners, 1 lunch, 8 half hour massages which could be added together for an hour and Cocktails for 2 every day; what more can you ask for. Time to get packing and visit Koh Samui at the “AMARI”

Stayed 3 weeks here. Staff are amazing. We will definitely be back. Two pools are fabulous. Great location. Did I mention the staff — Rak, Jimmy, May, Honey to name a few, unbelievable. They made our stay in resort perfect. Will be back to stay at Amari next year 💕

One of the best hotels I have stayed. Directly on one of the best beaches on Ko Samui. Very serviceminded staff in all areas. Pool and beach settings is great.

Yes we have stayed at Amari Koh Samui 4 times and every time they do not disappoint…
the rooms are perfect the staff are friendly and always helpful. The pools are just Devine and the grounds and gardens are well kept and A1. Breakfast is my favourite but all the meals or snacks we have had at the resort have been high quality… Prego Restaurant makes the best Italian food in Koh Samui and their prices are reasonable. We will be back again to our home in Koh Samui❤️

Amari is definitely one of my favorites hotels. Everything about this hotel is perfect-the service, the staff, breakfast, facilities. Not my first time here, and definitely not my last.
Amazing hotel!

The Amari Koh Samui is a beautiful place to relax, unwind and recharge your batteries. The staff are wonderful and I would say that it is them that brought us back and will again. Friendly and genuine, not just with guests but with each other too.

The most amazing resort and location. The staff are so friendly and caring. The dining and bar staff are always there to help you. 10/10, you cannot get better. We return every year and are never disappointed. We have just spend 16 days at the Amari and will be back again next year for the 6th time!

The location of the hotel and the hotel itself is very nice. The hotel is situated on the beach and across the street. We received room firstly across the street, but asked to change it due to that it was facing street side and was too noisy for me. Breakfast is excellent, you can choose from international to Vietnamese or Thai. Down side of the hotel is beach, not beach it self but the sea. It's like lagoon and water stand still, so there is seaweed by the shore and water has a bad smell. And another thing which was a little bit annoying — room cleaning. Would we stay here again — definitely yes!

What a fantastic hotel. Beautiful place, charming saff. All of them were simply extraordinary. My wife twisted her ankle during a walk in the street. At 4 am we called the reception and the receptionist was so helpful. She simply took care of EVERYTHING. Cheers!

From the moment we arrived we were made most welcome. Prego, Amaya. Restaurant, bar and cafe. All amazing. Beach dinner, fantastic, Thai buffet, which we are having tonight, our last night, will be just as good. Breeze spa massages so soothing. 10 days gone too fast! Special thanks to Tiw and Pen at Amaya Bar. Looked after us extremely well. All the staff only to happy to help with a smile. Would we return? Hell yeah.

Breakfast good quality but very stiff at the hourly level (closing of doors and payment beyond the hour) friendly staff (excluding 50% of the reception) not much info from the island to the reception 2 beautiful pools, good beach but watch out for sandy beaches if The pond is very low.

Super nice staff, great facilities, in the hotel we feel very comfortable. Unfortunately, bathing on the beach is not possible, as a lot of kelp floats in the sea and a lot of seaweed grows on the ground. It is a great pity! But there's a free shuttle to the sister hotel.

For a hotel of this range there we had: an expectation on our arrival while we had booked directly on their site (reservation not found apparently), little smile at the reception limits even of impatience, a room overlooking a Yard in progress, a handful of bathroom remained in hand, a bathroom flooded after a shower (no gasket) so in the end 3 room changes without any excuse every time.
The beach is dirty, plastic bags, bottles, cigarettes… The nearby hotels clean the beaches in front but not the Amari apparently. Cigarette butts are hanging on the terrace. The staff spoke little English which did not facilitate the exchanges. Little Hello when we meet them in the premises of the establishment.
Having a habit of attending the Sheraton on a business trip, I am particularly disappointed with the Amari Ps Attention with their automatic apology message that it sends you during your stay or on your Google review it's the "Patel", another remark today I moved to the restaurant, I waited 30min still no card despite 10 person of the hotel present I had to get up to take a map!
Then a board does not book this hotel it says 4 * But one is very but then very far thank you.

Friendly staff. Lovely grounds. Beautiful pools but on the section of the beach that is quite polluted. The buffet breakfast was full of an amazing variety of Eastern and Western selections.

Stayed here with my husband for our anniversary. Room has nice modern decor. I believe the resort was newly renovated at that time. Very impressive breakfast buffet. Fresh juices, selection of cold cut and cheese, and even dim sum! Since then we have been going back to Amari just for the breakfast.

The place is nice, but the food is expensive for the quality and the staff inattentive. If you are going to eat there, I recommend for dessert the Mango sticky rice.

The resort is ideally situated near the beach and it is walking distance to good restaurants (e. G. Prego, Italian restaurant) and outlet shops. The resort has very good amenities and the staff are accommodating. It felt good that the staff and the managers took the time to talk to us and made sure that we enjoyed our stay in the resort and that we had everything we needed. Mam, the Dining manager, was very attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend this resort.

This was our second visit at the Amari. Location and service are great but we found a couple of drawbacks this time that hampered our stay. Firstly our first visit last June we stayed in the lower storey of the vila in the garden wing. Issue we had was the constant pile driving noise throughout the day coming from next door’s construction. It was simply uncomfortable trying to have a peaceful time. We thought we would give the Amari another chance and visit the hotel again so I emailed them late last year concerned about the noise. I was assured by them that it had stopped and that construction is at the internal stage. How wrong they were. We arrived 3 weeks ago and experienced a constant bashing of metal next door all day. The construction was nowhere near the internal stage as they stated. We felt deceived in a way and thought they could have been honest prior to us booking. Our room was an upper storey unit in the garden area. The fan above us creaked all the time and made sleeping unbearable. Luckily we had a short stay this time. I found things will only get fixed if someone complains about it. No regular maintenance checks.

Nice clean place to stay Two pool areas altho when it hot the garden wing pool isn't cool enough for refreshing dip But it is less crowded than the main pool House keeping sometimes bit slack sometimes with topping up coffee, milk washing powder, we did always get fresh towels but no facewashers. Breakfast was great lots of choice We misplaced our room keys a few times they just replaced no charge. All in all enjoyed our stay.

Had our wedding here a couple days ago. We had so many nice places to choose from at Koh Samui and we're so happy and over the moon to have chosen Amari to celebrate our special day. Beautiful location and place to stay. Room, pool, restaurants and breakfast was so good. Wedding set up, food and service was amazing. Winnie our planner was very professional and did everything in her power to make our stay and our wedding a success. Can't recommend this place enough. Hope to be back soon. Loved it!

We pass on Amari Koh Samui a stay spectacular in full Chaweng beach. We stayed for three nights and we played a few days of rain so took the opportunity to try almost all services of the resort. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with variety for all tastes. We stayed in the Thai Village and it was a great success. We love the room, the bed super comfortable and the cleanliness impeccable. We take massage in simultaneous (Signature Oil Massage of one hour), the best we have experienced. Wifi works excellent throughout the resort, which is fundamental today. The pools beautiful. Best of all, without a doubt, the staff, always with a smile and willing to help. We dined in Prego the first night and we ate the best "Antipasto". We take this to also test the StackEdBurger Hotel Ozo and super recommended as well. There is a shuttle bus available to go back to the Amari. Note 1000 and we will, without a doubt.

Absolutely gorgeous beach and hotel. The room is fabulous with bed and bedding that's straight from heaven and will give you the best sleep. The breakfast was superb and the best I ever had. Well pleased. I recommend this place if its in your budget.

In 2018/02/21 check-in to 2/24, the hotel facilities are good and clean, the service staff are very friendly, very comfortable and very like.
Unfortunately, in the check-out time, because go too rush to have clothes forget in the room wardrobe, the counter has said please service personnel to help us bring over the hall, the result is a pair of trousers missing!
Go back to your pants. Because this matter has no confidence in your hotel.

The reception, pools, and breakfast Areas are beautiful! This section of the resort was recently refurbished; so no complaints in that department. However, the rooms are very dated and need immediate attention. There are stains on the linen, cracks in the furniture and it smells musty. Also, the rooms were not cleaned to a high standard, I was very dissatisfied with the level of cleanliness. On several days, we were only given 2 complimentary bottles of water rather than 3 (3 guests in our room). I saw on the website there was a free shuttle from the airport, but when I booked, I was charged because it was not a direct flight? There are no direct flights from Sydney to Koh Samui. This is very misleading and considering there are not many holiday makers visiting Samui at the moment, I would expect the resort to offer more. Last time I was in Samui, I stayed at Chaweng regent hotel and I wish I stayed there again this time. I will not stay at this resort in future. Also, upon arriving in Samui, I had emailed the resort on several occasions (first time travelling with my baby, I had a few questions). Many of my emails went unanswered.

A great hotel! Stayed for 11 nights with kids, wonderful experience. Looking forward to coming back.

Average place. For Thai standarts staff is not very nice and smiley. But they are efficient. Rooms are poor, ibis style. Pools are nice.

Buffet breakfast at Amaya restaurant. Love it! Sushi, smoked salmon, fresh smoothies, Indian, Asian and Eropean corner. You can find everything there.

Would book again there no doubts, classy clean, friendly staff the beach located part of the hotel is awesome and elegant. The other part is more fit to a family. Bith pool are wonderful. Booking is worth it there. Go for it with no doubts.

Good hotel in great location north end of chaweng. Good breakfast selection. Garden wing pool service on some days was slow and hard to find the waiter. Couldn't find any pool side toilets so had to keep going back to our room. Good sized rooms, comfy bed, good selection of channels to watch. 2 free bottles of water in the room everyday.

The hotel is pretty and everything has been refurbished this year. Cheeky room classification: On booking a superior room with a pool view l, I was given one with a view of a very large bush. Although agreeing to move straight away it took an hour for my luggage to be collected and transferred. Mold! : Having spent the night in the new room it became apparent that they have a mold problem. Swiftly being moved to room three This time, it appears it's a design flaw of how they have refurbished their bathrooms. I have been moved three times in three days, it was supposed to be a dream holiday and I still have moldy smelly room. I booked having read the reviews and have been luck to have been moved although the problem persists. If you are coming in busy bewarned they may not have the space to shift you to a spare room! The staff are good and effective but not sure what they can do about this. Not had a follow up chat with the manager after the first incident, should really have followed up.

Awesome location. Full service. Beautiful rooms. Great service. Two wings… beach and village and both have their own pools and both have awesome rooms.

Relaxing and trouble free stay. My room was gorgeous, had everything we needed with a nice view of the garden. Service was always great. Both pools were gorgeous to swim in. Everything was clean. The buffet breakfast is definitely a highlight of the trip! Will go back again!

The Amari hotel is beautiful the staff are fantastic and bent over backwards to accommodate us on our honeymoon after there was a problem with our original hotel. We had a fantastic time thanks to all the staff and wow what a location.

Hotel is stylish. Rooms rather standard. Hotel is very quite, relaxation or a peaceful sleep is dependent on the respect of the other guests. Fine sandy beach. Sea is rather unsightly at low tide.

THE nicest hostel I have ever stayed in. Five star comfort and service from start to finish. Situated directly on the beach with a large pool also. The bedrooms are immaculate and clean, the food amazing and the cocktails even better. Expensive but worth every single penny.

Lived in category «de Luxe» — just the newer rooms, truth in further located. Still — sea, what finely, this depending on the season, but 300 m мелчайшуму sand of the beach, and there is even a wave.
