Akira is my best experience of the hotel in Lipe island. Highly recommended to anyone. The best foods and service. The staffs very helpful and friendly. Oceans front restaurant and bar, great breakfast options. The room are Clean and super nice with 3 different swimming pool. Love this place.

Wonderful place just on the pattya beach, nice staff, great drinks, the villas are amazing. Can recommend this place.

I like that they have kids zone for my toddler and great service. Highly recommend for family visit.

The atmosphere is good. Excellent service. All smiles are intent on providing clean rooms. Breakfast was good. Impressive dinner, close to walking street. In conclusion, I have to come again and introduce my friends.

This place is disgusting, When they are unloading there boats with good all bits of plastic and Styrofoam are falling off in to the water and they don't care! Even after telling the guy in charge they just leave it. Never going there again!

Nice holiday resort. Cool and lively place to be in. But don't travel there during the monsoon from May to mid October because even I throw out during the very unpleasant boat ride. The most terrifying boat ride in all my life. Many also throw out with 1 or 2 fainted upon arrival at the resort. Gonna walk from the Jet to the beach and you are all wet before arriving the hotel.

The staff were very professional and friendly. The whole resort will give you a relaxing feeling especially the pool! The room we stayed (villa) were nice, beside the faulty lights and a one time failure in water supply throughout the whole resort. Suggestions for them would be to add a laundry service or a laundry rack. AND importantly the area is infested with mosquito ☹️ So please bring insects repellent. I killed almost 15 mosquito just in the room itself.

Lovely spot, pool, chairs and bar overlooking the beach. Happy hour from 4-7pm, friendly staff. Buy a drink and enjoy the view!

A real treat. This place isn't cheap, but since we were at the end of our trip we decided to splurge. The room was beautiful and clean. Great location on a beautiful beach.

I guess the best place on Koh Lipe. The entire infrastructure is within walking distance. The room is spacious, clean. Under the window of the pool. If 10-12 T. R. For you is not a problem, then this is what you are looking for. The beach fenced from boats, you can swim safely.

Very friendly staff. Clean, comfortable (spacious) and comfortable rooms. Good quality breakfast Large swimming pools, one overlooking the sea. Good food with typical dishes and also Western offer.

Modern hotel with 3 very nice pools in fantastic location. Staff are not great but this seems to be standard in Ko Lipe unfortunately (friendly but generally the English language isn't understood as well as other parts of Thailand). Other negative is that the hotel maintenance should be improved, but still undoubtedly one of the best places to stay on the island.

The rooms and the villa. The villa is 2 times more than the room, it is more comfortable to sleep in the rooms. The villa has a smaller bed and is not comfortable. The room categorically cannot be taken on the ground floor with access to the pool-in the morning there is a chance that to you zaplyvut cheerful Chinese. Just go out to the balcony, and there they are. Rest and wipe your towels. I've seen it more than once from my second floor.

Booked Villa in the hotel on the recommendation of Vinskiy. And don't regretted. There were only 2 days on the island but tried to inspect all the hotels. Akira is the best in all respects. Are there any drawbacks? I haven't found it.

Probably the best hotel on Lipe. Very clean for Thai conditions. The bungalow is perfect! Quiet island with beautiful white beach and crystal clear water. (Mosquito Spray in the evening! )

Akira Lipe Resort is an incredibly clean and beautifully located hotel just off Pattaya Beach on Koh Lipe. It was so insanely nice in the morning to enjoy breakfast on the terrace, while the sea is seemingly just an arm's length away and sounds towards the gentle sound of the surf. It was just as dreamlike to enjoy a freshly prepared cocktail right next to the pool bar with a view beyond the infinity pool to the open sea. The service staff was extremely friendly, always courteous, even if the communication in English was not always easy, I don't think it hurt the overall impression. The bustling centre of the island, the famous Walking Street, is just a three-minute walk through the white sand, which is still lukewarm from the hot day, in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Currently, the hotel is being extended to the rear by the so-called Silver Suites, which also has its own pool, which can be accessed directly via the respective terrace of the bungalow (see photos). Koh Lipe itself is a real treasure, and this hotel is certainly a piece of gold. I hope to be a guest there very soon.

Akira Lipe is likely one of the best accommodations you could pick on Koh Lipe. It's not a luxurious island and so 4 stars are the highest you will find. Akira is located on Pattaya beach which in my opinion is the nicest beach of the three. It's not nearly as filled with longtails as I was led to believe when compared with the much busier Sunrise beach. You'll have easy access to the walking street and tours from Akira. The resort itself is great for the price and the pool access rooms are really convenient. The food was reasonable and the happy hour was a bargain. There are only two things I didn't like about Akira: the maintenance of the rooms is not as good as it should be. Our hot tap on the bath did not function and there were various points of wear and tear that really ought to have been taken care of. The second thing I didn't like was the unfortunate foul smelling bog running down the left side of Akira. It's not part of the property and so probably isn't much they can do about it but it's not the nicest thing to see or smell when you're coming out of your room. Whatever is in there also flows across Pattaya beach into the ocean which I thought was a bit sad. But overall Koh Lipe is lovely for a relaxing holiday and Akira was a good choice.

Great location, friendly staff, ENG spoken, close to walking street, many positives. NEG: Wi-Fi in room does not work good signals but router will not assign IP, manually setting IP on device is refused access, staff advised for multiple days no resolution. Only Wi-Fi access is in open air lobby including hungry mosquitoes and smoking tourists at night.

This place is quite. Step outside of a large bedroom, big bathroom with shower, straight into one of three swimming pools. One pool has a cocktail bar. Staff are very friendly, Ken to make your stay a pleasant one. Good Thai, and international menus. One problem getting to it from the mainland. Two hours by mini bus, another two hours by boat.

Elegant hotel in first line of beach (Pattaya, the best of the island) with huge swimming pool and hammocks looking out to the sea, what more could you ask for? And happy hour from 16h to 19h!

One of the most improved hotel of Koh Lipe. Staff is friendly, rooms are fine but may need some maintenance (lights not working, leak in the bathroom and bad smell), pools need to be cleaned more carefully as there are a lot of dead bugs. Be aware that mosquitos start to bite around 5pm (all over the island). Breakfast just ok compared to other hotels, but as we are in a far away island I would say it's not that bad. Restaurant at the hotel is quite tasty. Overall hotel looks attractive and convenient. Beaches of the island are not that good. Too much tourism and boats. Odors of gasoline and trash on the sand (stupid humans! ). Avoid Sunset Beach it's the worst. I wasn't impressed by the beaches. You can find better at Phuket.

Excellent and friendly service from staff. There was an issue with mold in my rooms bathroom and when brought to James attention (manager) he offered a free night and bought us a few drinks. The new room was sparkling clean and during our conversation I mentioned it was my bday the following day and also had the room prepared for my bday which I did not expect. I believe it's the perfect place to stay in Koh lipe. Hit the mark in everyway.

Nice location, slightly away from the more crowded area of the island. Large rooms with possibly excessively large bathrooms, I mean, who needs a bathtub when you're on a tropical island? Breakfast was so so, the place is seemingly not that well maintained and the staff seems more interested in playing on their phones than helping the guests. That said, the cleaning staff did a good job.
