Clean hotel, something to come in the years. Is also no longer a Best Western. Heavily frequented by Chinese. Also not a nice beach. For what you get definitely too expensive.

Very nice personnel, and very good restaurant for asian food. The breakfast was not that great for a western person who does not eat noodles and sauce in the morning. It's a bit side though, but with a taxi you reach Ao por harbour and then get to nice islands and Phang Nga national park, which are awesome. Seemed to be old 5-star hotel which time has then effected. The sun beds at the pool need to be changed, they are broken and unconformatable. The beach at down is nice, but not very much for swimming. Different experience this hotel anyway :)

Rooms and beautiful scenery. By. Against far away. Nothing to do except pool.
Restaurant to avoid. Noon and night. The morning a thousand noisy and rude Chinese that eat anything but toast. What a horror. The worst thing is that I ate three times at the restaurant, alone so. And twice I ate meat, sick of the intestines. The last day vrailent sick.

Great hotel with pool and seaside! Three downsides: Insufficient soundproofing of the rooms, no beautiful beaches nearby while the sea is less than 100 m, no activity near the hotel.

Ideal for resting there is nothing in the vicinity.

It is farther than you would expect from other attractions. 3 Star for aging facility. 4 Star for staff. Almost got attacked by wild dog pack in the morning at the private beach. Bring some good water shoes because of the coral in the water. Had a good time.

Crowded by Chinese tourists. No manner. The place is clean but old and now working well. Room layout is strange.

The hotel had a beautiful view of Ao Po bay and amazing Pad Thai at the restaurant but that’s about it. The rooms were run down and not taken care of, the “private beach” was rather far from the hotel and was closed most of the time for low tide. The only thing near by was a 7-11 about 2km from the hotel. With the remote location the hotel over charges for everything. They also tried to charge us 700BOT for the airport transfer included in our room rate. Plus the first time we asked about a scooter rental it was 250BOT and the second time it was 350BOT.

Its not often that I rate 5 stars, but Supalai definitely deserves 5. Views from the room were stunning. The food is unbelievable. Compliments to the Chef and staff. We hired a scooter and explored the local area. Really enjoyed the ride.

Unique hotel where located near Ao Por Pier.

Must have been a nice hotel the first 3 months when it was built 30 years ago but now it is just a relic. Hotel is old and completely decrepit. Dont be fooled by the pictures from the website.

The hotel is about an hours drive from Patong beach, but it is a beautiful place. I enjoyed the fact that I could have peace and quiet being here and when I wanted to party I could go with the in house taxi at a reasonable price to any where in Phuket I wanted to.

Remote location, bad service. We checked in in the evening, but nobody helped us to find our room. One of my friends stripped on the way to the bungalow and hurt herself pretty badly, yet nobody cared. The hotel just provided some basic medicine after we negotiate with them for quite some time. If you care for your life, don't stay here!

A little far from central, amazing view out of room. Very good resort for stay for couple of days, one night not enough.

It costs 200 baht per 1hour to use Wi-Fi. It's expensive.

Thanks to the Supalai staff for their extended hospitality, particulary Thip — she was great! Very Clean but a bit small. Daily house keeping was superb! A very nice place, quiet and out of the way but if you don't have a rental car you'll go broke in transportation fees to get around. Minimum one-way transport is 400 Baht (approx USD 12) but for somewhere on the opposite end of the Island easily 1000 Baht. The hotel does offer free transportation daily to NaiYang Beach and the Central Festival Mall on a first come first serve basis. Their van only seats 10 adults. Recommend a rental car if you don't mind playing chicken with all the scooters. We got a rental car thanks to Saeed Jitsue who was also very helpful during our stay. First time to Phuket. Local people in the Ao Po area very friendly and hospitable. If you don't mind being out of the way it's a great place for a few days; longer stays without transportation and you'll feel jailed.
