Hotel is lovely, and the rooftop swimming pool is spectacular. Open till 9pm, you can swim as the sun sets over Phuket. Room was cleaned daily, and shampoo, soap, towels and other basics were provided. However, our fridge in the room wasn't working. Hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but there are plenty nearby. As the hotel is located further from the main tourist hot spots, you can enjoy a quiet stay; with many amenities on your doorstep. Within a 5 min walk, there are multiple restaurants, Seven-Eleven's and bars. To the beach, it's only a 10 minute walk max. Hotel accepts credit card payments, but requires a 100 USD (2000 THB) cash deposit for the room — so beware, and visit an ATM before you arrive. Motorbikes can be booked directly through the hotel for 250 THB per day, and airport transfers for 250 THB per person as well. Laundary is quite expensive at the hotel, but many shops nearby offer the service for around 50 THB per kilo.

The Platinum Hotel is very nice. Just pass to see some friends, but if I really liked the home.

Location and rooms were pretty good.

The room is alright, and the location isn't awful. It's out of the way, which means it's quiet. Next door is a cocktail making academy, so it is full of those students (I think). The manager is nice, quite a Michael Scott kind of character, goes a bit over the top to help you, and it can seem a bit weird at times. But nevertheless, he is quite a lovely man. The other staff are alright? But don't seem on the ball at times… The pool is full of oils and chemicals, it's not fantastic, but it's better than Patong Beach. I recommend you rent a bike from the hotel, it's cheap and they're quite good fun. Be careful not to scratch them though, another couple had to pay quite a bit in fines for a minor scratch. Overall, not an amazing hotel, but you could easily do much much worse in this area of Phuket.

Very decent Hotel, black spot, the noise of the road 24 hours a day.

It is located at 200 meters from my house it seems to be a well managed place with rooms like so many nothing special to have to emphasize in the norm by 6 in my opinion is scale of assessment.

Good for the money but a bit noise.

Money saver. Clean room. Near a fruit market, so as to buy the food/drink/fruit conveniently. 10 minutes walking to patong beach. A little far from bangla street, 20minutes walking distance.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Staff was always nice. Hotel is not as crispy as in photos. The seif in our room had some issues but got fixed. They cleaned the room every day and would leave the towels folded into elephants, was the cutest detail I thought.

Great value for money. Book a few days and then arrange with the hotel manager to pay cheaper the rooms are very good and very clean. The hotel is pretty quiet.

Nice hotel! Not too far from Patong Beach. It's only 15 mn walking distance. The breakfast could be better.

Great place! Found room very big and cleaned everyday with fresh towels. Staff are great and always smiling & happy to help. Enjoyed so much I extended my stay here.

Staff are luvly — place is a bit dated compared to the pictures, quite comfortable.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was a 900 baht, 2000 or a passport, an interesting number with a glass wall in the bathtub, a massage room, a dining room, a café, a rental of mopeds, a nearby shop 7 eleven.

Good. But to much deposit.

The room smelled like sewage. The towels weren't very clean. Same for the sheets.
