I did a reservation for room in Captain Cottage for 1710 baht, the day before arrival staff called me and confirmed if I am coming. When I arrived the Chinese speaking lady walked with me from Captain Cottage building to Islanda Botique Hotel building and gave me a room there. Quick research showed me that those rooms are actually sold under 1200 baht per night online. So I got this terrible feeling of being ripped off from the start. The room itself was very dirty with depressive colors, there was male semen on the TV and at night I could hear neighbor next door trying to negotiate with the lady about her service price. I was staying only one night so I decided to let it go, but I want to warn further travelers about.
