It was a great experience to be there, the pool at the foot of your balcony, the spa a delight, like nowhere in the world, and their food a real delight 😋

Beautiful hotel, spacious and clean room, splendid pools, free shuttle every hour to reach the beach, shops nearby.

I have stayed twice at the hotel and it is wonderful. This year with restrictions by the covid the hotel does not respect the situation and does not want to give us a refund of our money …

The spa is beautiful and has everything to pamper the soul.

We had the Thai cooking class! Great fun. Mr Charlan is a wonderful teacher. We went to the market before cooking and of course our food was delish! Will highly recommend this interesting activity.

Where to begin. Hidden gem. By far the best hotel. Amazing scenery by day and anouther magical place by night. Sweet people who work here always make you feel welcome and remember you. Food is always great. We also were fortunate to be here for the Christmas Gala 2019 and they had a fun show and amazing buffet. Thank you for making our time here wonderful.

It's a magical and romantic place. With comfortable bed, linens are perfect, cold a/c, water pressure is great and friendly staff. For english customers, request your TV to be set up in advance, it took almost 2 days for us to watch TV, this is the only issue we had but the rest of our stay was awesome! I suggest the hotel to also provide more English channels esp news! We would definitely recommend this hotel. Breakfast was good too.

The design, the gardens, the rooms, the unbelievebly beautiful swiming pools, the friendly and welcoming staff, the great restaurant — all those and more have been taken care down to the very small details. Wow.

This place is just gorgeous, staying in the Cabana Pool suite. Intimate and authentic traditional Thai style decor to die for. Everywhere you look there are sweet, romantic little hidey holes. I’ve stayed in many 5 star hotels but this place is more than a little bit special. The staff are lovely, it’s quiet (we have had the pool to ourselves a few times). If you want to relax, get away from the hustle/bustle without spending a fortune… this place is it!

Some renovations going at the moment. Staff pleasant. Manager no where to be seen. Things could be run more efficiently. Lovely unique hotel. Good option if you want a true Thai property. Kata Beach is a very busy area. Almost entire clientele in January are Chinese.

Located very close to Kata Beach, this hotel was perfect in every way for me and my girlfriend. It was beautiful: the plants and scenery made me feel like I was in some sort of fairytale jungle. The pool access Villa unit was beyond beautiful. Felt like a prince. One complaint: I ordered noodles with shrimp but the shrimp looked sick. It tasted awful and fell apart at the touch. I didn't eat any of it. Still enjoyed my stay 5/5

My wife and I stayed in the Baray Villa. It is a very beautiful part of the hotel. My cousin and his wife were staying in the standard rooms near the reception; those rooms are just ok, so I would suggest getting a deluxe room or a villa.

Have been here 8 times. Very nice ambience in Thai style. Beautifully laid out.
Employees super friendly. Help with everything you need help. Rooms in the normal category quite narrow and dark. Cabinet too small. But everything there. Fresh fruit, water, coffee, tea, kettle, refrigerator, drinks, bathrobe, slippers, drugstore items etc. (all included) Breakfast is the hammer. Pool beautifully landscaped. Villas huge with private pool access and jacuzzi. Middle category completely new and not yet inhabited by us but beautiful. Unfortunately, many Chinese who are very noisy. But would still come back.

MOSQUITOS! The place is infested with them. But the hotel tries there best to have it under control they have coils running after 7pm. But if your staying at sawasdee village pls make sure you bring a good repellant. The front are like small cabins with not much room, smell of mould you can see mould painted over. The new rooms are very well designed and would recommend staying them as you have the backyard leading to a massive pool. Massages are expensive. Location is not in the good spot 15min to beach. Breakfast is average. Customer service is excellent nam and tuk are very helpfull and the reception.

The villas are wonderful. So relaxing and intimate. The restaurant is fantastic. The food is great. I did the cooking course and loved it.
We will miss Mr Charan and the restaurant staff. Can’t recommend the Sawasdee Village highly enough. We will be back. We can also recommend Mr Wanno and his taxi service.

Great Hotel… the room with access to the pool is a paradise… large room with high ceilings… access by the pool directly from the balcony of the room or from a door in the shower cubicle… The hotel looks like a huge garden… Even the restaurant and the spa are a Dream… no veins repent.

The rooms are very small. Repairs are old, we need to update. But the territory is beautiful, in the style of the museum) cozy.

. The pool, although it seems small, but very cozy and always cool because of the shade. The new zone is a work of architectural art on the theme of 1001 nights. But the pool is hot, than the guests of the garden area calm down. The location is not for five, but not for three. Of the cons — unusually small and dark rooms, without balconies and airing, in the colonial style.

The hotel is very nice and the room is very good. Mark two o'clock in the afternoon, wait until three o'clock more than checked in. The efficiency is not flattering, the service is also enthusiastic.

A beautiful hotel, it makes a great impression live Large and well-equipped rooms. Every day thorough cleaning. Service very nice and always ready to help. The hotel very much cares about the fact that there are no mosquitoes, daily spraying rooms. During our stay mosquitoes were not at all, bravo! Breakfast in the hotel restaurant is delicious and a large selection, everyone will find something for themselves. Very good coffee! We are delighted with our stay and we are already planning the next one. Thank you!

Amazing Hotel. Great Staff. Well maintained. Only complaints were the soap dispenser in my room ran out and lacked a refill until I may it obvious. The lacking of a no smoking policy pool side.

Magic Place Swimming pool incredibly thought flat: service to perfect and maintenance of places to strengthen.

The place is beautiful and amazing! My husband and I loved the place the moment we set foot on the entrance. However, we were not given the privacy we asked for… The 'Do not disturb' sign was ON but they still came in to clean our room everyday, and rang the doorbell every night to ask us if we wanted some mosquito repellant.

We had a wonderful stay here. The hospitality is phenomenal and the grounds are well maintained and beautiful. Breakfast each morning was delicious and there was always a great selection. The hotel is a perfect escape from the busy Karon Beach area, but it is still walking distance to many points of interest.

Rooms: Understand the difference between the smaller rooms at the front of the resort, and the much bigger, really nice and luxurious rooms that have access to the long pool. We were upgraded to the nice one and this review is based on that. Mosquitos: Yes they exist. Bug spray works. Use it. Use the net at night. You should at least sleep well. Review: This place blew us away. The swim out pool was awesome. You have to pay to use it if you aren't staying in one of the nice rooms. The food was OK, but breakfast sucked. That is really my only complaint. It took us about 15 mins to get coffee once. Coffee people should understand the issue with this. The bed was unreal. The rooms were out of this world. I found the service to be just fine. Not the best on our trip, but fine. If you are going to be in the Kata / Karon beach area, this is the palce to be.

Magic Box. Splendid decoration. The standard rooms are to be avoided absolutely. Prefer the cabana pool. Magic Pools. Staff to the small care. First night in Standard room OK but simplistic. Second night in Cabana Pool access topissime. The pool is not the same is the difference is worth the difference €50.

A charming, elegant, affordable and unique hotel accommodation! Everything from basic little rooms with a porch to relax on to full on posh villas with pool front access. The poolside bar is excellent and their food selection is quite good. They also included a breakfast buffet every morning we stayed there!

The hotel is built in Thai style with lots of wood and greenery. Nice little boutique hotel. It is spacious and quiet as well. The rooms are not overly large but are perfectly adequate and well equipped.
Only the mosquitoes can get nerves but this is what the hotel helps and you can easily make mistakes yourself. Then everything is great.

Breathtaking grounds but poor service, especially for a four star resort (inconsistent, rude). Good for lounging and the lap pool is amazing (the cabana suite / the baray villas are the way to go — — garden rooms are prone to tons of mosquitoes and are older) ; avoid this hotel if excellent customer service is something you care about. (pK at The travel agency across the street is great to work with)

Such an amazing Hotel! Pool is friggin awesome! Make sure you book the rooms with pool side access!

The structure is really wonderful, immersed in nature, the nice rooms, outside there are streams where frogs live that at night make you a little ' company! Very comfortable beds, The hotel offers every hour a shuttle to the sea and leaves you in the public beach of Kata. The pool is not immense but beautifully inserted in a wonderful setting, has a waterfall and whirlpool! There is to say that these areas have wonderful facilities but they are not able to keep them and as a result the level drops very unfortunately because the potential is great. With maintenance I do not mean that they are dirty but it is well visible rust, limestone and various usure. Only thing I would like to mention is that at breakfast you have to remember several times what you want to drink because often they forgot. On 4 mornings we drank only 2 despite several reminders.

Came here for a little snack and drinks after paddle boarding. The service was sub par but that is expected for Thailand. The drinks weren't strong so we had to get double shots for everything. The food wasn't bad, it was actually quite tasty. Had a prawn curry which we loved, however, the soy noodles and mussels weren't that good. Overall an above average experience.

Fantastic Hotel with very nice rooms, which have private access to the Pool. The height of the room in the rooms about 4 meters. Very luxurious bathroom. A place to Relax.

I stayed for a 5 nights stay as a couple and we took a room with access to the swimming pool. The stay has been fantastic! The staff has been very helpful and the whole complex is beautifully decorated and makes you feel better than in most concrete block hotel that you can find nearby. Overall, I would recommend it strongly to someone who would like to enjoy a couple days in Kata Beach.

Great place. Nice breakfast. But it doesn't have the best finishing, I absolutely loved the stay but maybe the price shouldn't be that high. Room service was sooo affordable. Again I absolutely love my stay at sawasdee Village. I might return again great staff very friendly. Also it is beautiful decorations are amazing and definitely a great place to take beautiful photos.

Sawasdee Village is an amazing hotel. The environment, landscaping, decorations, design, amenities, and gracious staff make this hotel a better than 5 star hotel. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was wonderful. I can't even describe the elegant swimming pool with its many water features, swim up bar, and tropical surroundings. I felt very safe in the area and security is top notch. The hourly transportation to the beach was a 2-3 minute ride. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

The villa was beautiful. It was more space than we needed really. Staff didn't handle an issue properly. Hotel management refused to cover expenses for luggage handle that was broken by their staff. Beware.

The grounds of the hotel and the staff are great. Just watch out for the mosquitoes that are numerous due to the large amount of water on the grounds. The rooms themselves are in need of serious maintenance. The first room we got was disgusting. Mold, rust, beaten up furniture. The bed however was in decent shape and the in room computer was convenient. We got switched and the room was a bit nicer. If you are fine with mediocre room quality this hotel is great. If you want a nice room look elsewhere.

There is no other place to consider… this is perfect.

Sawasdee village is a hidden paradise. The most incredible place I've ever stayed. The staff were so helpful and very very friendly. We stayed there only for 2 nights. And my boyfriend asked me to marry him, outside of our room (131)! I will never forget sawasdee… never! Definitely we will be back someday! Sawasdee is in my heart. Loved it! Thank you so much for everything!

I would review this hotel 3 star if it didn't have so many "positive" reviews and misrepresentation dragging average above acceptable 4 star rating fooling potential guests who is doing due diligence before booking… Just want to review rooms and make it fair… Being in hospitality business for 10+ years, I noticed this property wouldn't qualify for 4 star (in developed world), at least lower end part of it. Let’s break it down: there are 2 types of rooms on property: bungalows & villas. Those types are incomparable: villas are luxury & expensive, which I believe is a source of great reviews. Bungalows are extremely small, dated, floors are uneven, showers have low spaces and short ceilings. So if you are 6'4'' like me then you are barely make turns considering your stuff is all around the room considering you are on vacation for a couple of weeks with companion. Views? All bungalows are aquarium type. Most of the time, there are views of neighbors passing by looking at you… If you and your companion use Laptops, phones, anything that needs outlets, you will be unpleasantly surprised of the obsolete electrical awkward layout… you will need to drain your laptop battery first before charging… There is no standard desk and chair that you will find in most hotels which makes it hard to do any work.

We had dinner at the restaurant (separately as a restaurant, anywhere is not marked on the map). Very tasty, an excellent cook. Also, great service. Nothing of the kind within a radius of 1 km there is. Highly recommend as an excellent Thai restaurant with a price tag of slightly above average. If not for this restaurant, never would have understood the taste of Thai cuisine.

Lovely place and the villa was huge. Massive and comfortable bed. Great service by all staff. The pool was great and especially made a nice change from the usual resort pool. A very quiet and peaceful place but in close distance to shops and restaurants options. Good breakfast and amazing massages at the spa. The upstairs of the villa had a strange and slightly unpleasant smell and no sun onto sun loungers for the villa hence the 4 stars. But overall we really enjoyed it.

Dinner at the restaurant. It is very beautiful lye and not more expensive than other street cafes. European service and food delivery.

A great escape! Absolutely amazing. The reviews and pictures do not do justice enough. Will definitely go again. The Villas are perfect! Best tip: PERFECT FOR HONEYMOONERS.

The ultimate get away resort. Everything you need in your 2 story suite, this place has paid attention to every detail. We were warned about mosquitoes but were never bothered by them. I guess we were lucky. We had a very attentive staff, and just everyhere on the grounds was overly done with nice landscaping, architecture, and details. I would go back in a heartbeat. Also great breakfast (esp pancakes! ) and the dinner was delicious.

Friendly staff nice rooms but lots of mosquitoes like everywhere else in Phuket. Free Wi-Fi too.
