Great place where you get proper looked after.

Great place to stop and chill, good food and good thai staff, well worth a visit.

Great pub with great helpful friendly staff. Reasonable prices as well and nothing is too much trouble for them.

Not for me. Out of stock on the beers I wanted and the Guiness, although well poured, tasted off. Thirdly, the bar didnt try hard enough to accomodate my party of 4 and offerred us 2 seats inside and 2 out during the rugby. It was perculiar, who would leave their wife and 4 year old son oitside? We all sat outside and I could barely see the game on the small screen. The bar made no effort to bring us inside when places became available. The staff looked fed up and didnt seem to care much. The food looked good. I would say this was probably a great place back in the day but has allowed standards to slip.

Great home made / chunky chips. Chilli nachos were tasty if a little over priced. Expensive compared to many places but needs must for a Magners! Cleanest toilets ever! Nice big corner location.

Great Irish pub in Karon. We had roast lamb. Beautiful yummy tender & good price. Good selection of beer & good place to watch football too. Very good staff. We will definitely comeback.
Will spread the words to my Irish friend when I get back to Sydney.

Had a few Guinness and fantastic 3 bean vegetarian pasta. The potato wedges were also great snack. Will definitely go back for more Guinness.

A couple of years ago, I liked this bar. Now I don't come here very often. Now everything has changed. Before ordering, the staff promises that you can pay by card, but then it turns out that the Payment card does not work, you only need cash. The food is not tasty, the choice of draft beer has become 2 times less, in fact available either warm Guinness or a holoal local chang. You have to drink bottled, and it is also available less than on the menu. One plus only remained — the big screen. If a new sports bar with a normal match schedule opens somewhere on Karon, I will go there right away.

Quite nice Bar/Pub. Here, Prices aren't quite as high as at many other Bars in Karon. Still, not quite cheap.

Great place to sit and watch a game, or F1 or people watch. Staff are only too happy to help out with locating a game for you. Food is very decent. Can get loud and busy during the peak times.

You would be stupid not to book a room here. The rooms are extremely clean and spacious. They have everything you need to make a couple of cups of tea each morning, which was not an option at all the other 4 hotels we stayed at. The staff were extremely amicable. I was blown away by the outstanding services of the owner, Maurice. To begin with, we arrived at 3pm, after the bar had closed. We had to call Maurice personally and most likely woke him up. He was all smiles as he greeted us and helped us to our room. The bed was comfy and enabled us to get a good night’s sleep. The food here is much better quality compared to other restaurants in the neighborhood. I am a UK/US citizen and melted when I ate the Sunday roast. Pure heaven! Great bangers and mash too! Thai sausages are basically hot dogs (weiners), unlike the ones here. You would think that having a room above an Irish pub would be noisy. We were on the 4th floor and hardly heard any noise. It’s a 5 minute walk from the beach, it’s in a great location. We were island hopping for the following 2 weeks and without hesitation Maurice said he would look after 3 suitcases for us so we could travel lighter. They play great music and you can often watch soccer, rugby, horse racing and other various broadcasts on a big screen. I cannot think of one bad thing to say about our stay here.

Once this place for me was almost cult, here it was possible to drink Zaimeyut favorite cold Kilkenny, to eat a terrific tomato soup and amazing burger which seemed to me the best in the world. Time passed, I poshatalas the world and, returning to Phuket, decided to go to my favorite bar. Here all also poured Kilkenny (which I no longer surprise), serve soup (it is still not bad), and here is a burger… Yes, maybe he biggest in town, but frankly bad (if you like good burgers), the set comes with unsavory french fries and onion rings. The cutlet in the burger was burnted from above and almost crude inside, I love medium rare, but the meat itself was somehow too smooth, as if its too finely popubilied and long kneaded. In short, if you like good burgers, you're not here.
But here is still enough bottled cider, all day you can order eggs in any form, though in the form of a Spanish omelet, and the place itself has not lost its charm.

Shoitè atmosphere. Food was Ok but giving a place an Irish name and painting it green … meh.

Clean and tidy. Spacious rooms with a couple of bottles of water daily, all within walking distance. No downsides except for the noisy bar opposite, but still it is quieter than the busy roads or even louder cafes.
If I'm on Karon, I'll only live here.

Best burger in Karon. Nice restaurant and guesthouse. Big screen TV with football and other sports.

Overpriced and poor service. Stick with the good local Thai restaurants.

Not hospitable towards us. A big no-no. Very rude waitress.

Best cider selection on the island. True, probably the only place with more than two ciders…

Quiet. Waitresses very friendly. I recommend.

A fun place. The reception girls were so nice and helpful. Best fish and chips I've had. Stayed three nights in the guest house. It was good for the price. Nothing amazing but everything worked and it was in a great location.

Dropped in on St Patrick's for a pint of Guinness. Great atmosphere and friendly banter so Stayed and had several.
Had the fish supper too and it was honestly to die for. Tasted just like I remember as a kid from my Mum. Real chips (no frozen oven muck). Real fresh fish cooked in real batter and proper mushy peas. Some out there may say 'wow really' but as I live and work outside the UK this was without doubt the best I've tasted. The rest of the food ordered and eaten by people around us looked proper tasty too and generous portions. Well worth the time to sit a while.

Room is big and lovely, also staff are friendly. Maurice the manager goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. To begin with the air con wasn't working and it was so hot we could not sleep but a lady staff member brought us a big modern fan up to our room 4 flights of stairs up and soon after fixed the air conditioning so all well, couldn't do enough for us. Food also good and recommend the breakfast. He also put football on in our room so hubby could watch at 3am but they got beat anyway ha but would definitely come back.

Fabulous Irish bar opposite the beach in Pathong, it's a stroll away from the busy Bangla road. The food here was fabulous with a good choice on the menu. The drinks choice was great and there was a nice atmosphere in this air-conditioning bar. The staff were excellent too catering to all our needs. We will return soon.
