Now about painful: 1. We arrived at the hotel at 7am, checked us in only 14:00, no room for suitcases, no change! Staff-terrible louts, only in the face do not spit, in Russian nobody speaks! We were lucky with the rooms, the balcony overlooked the sea, mostly there are rooms with access to the wall of a neighboring hotel, into the hallway or generally without balconies. Breakfast-they are almost no (eggs, soy sausages and ham, noodles, flakes and watermelon), all! Nothing changed in 12 days. The room was clean and the breakfast was very washed and the bed was very comfortable and comfortable. The beach towels are dirty and worn out. And now the main thing…! On the second day of the stay, dad and his wife pulled a blanket from the duvet cover and put it in the closet (because the air conditioning can not be included at night, blowing clearly on the bed, and sleep very stuffy), in general the next day this blanket safely took away the maid and Trudy The bed is without it!

This hotel is very Near to beach. But not sure about beach side view rooms.

Karon has great vibe but stay away from this hotel. I killed 3 cockroaches (1 in bedroom, 2 in bathroom) during 2 days. Locker under the sink full of cockroach excrement. Horrible cleaning. I had to tell the lady to clean the cockroach from the floor and the wall — after she just finished the cleaning. Room not as described on the booking. Windows have the view to the wall of the next building, which is aprox. 50 cm from it. Room didn't match any photo from the web. Receptionist and manager are very unfriendly and are not trying to solve the problem. Reply is — what can I do. Requested early check in, but got the room exactly at the time of check-in. No place to store the bags, unless you want to leave them next to the entrance. Not possible to pay deposit by a card — blocking the money at the card how normal hotels do. You need to deposit cash. The only positives are location, rooftop pool and the fact that you are in Thailand.

Very well located, you couldn't be closer to the beach. The host at the door speaks English, which is helpful. It's new and clean. All signs are in English and Russian. At the time of our visit most (if not every) other guests were Russian, so it's safe to say the place is Russian-friendly.

Place is next to the beach, room are nice and pool area quite relaxing. The staff is rude though. I still find weird to argue to print a ticket from the reception. Saw some people asked for 100 bat for washing their bed sheets. Hôtel? Really? Need improvement in such a touristic area.
