They should be more thoughtful. We paid for a room, they should not serve us with the malfunctioned room even they dont want to stay. The reception is trying to help but the reservation team should take responsibility on this. They just totally ignored our requests. We ended up staying most of our time outside the resort and only use the room to sleep. So it’s not a worth resort to stay for me. However, there are other nice rooms though but if you planned to stay, you should be specific on the room no.

How to describe perfection? This became our home away from home. We made life long friends with the staff. The food was out of this world. The accommodation and grounds were nothing short of specular. We see counting the days until we come back as we are all longing to be lucky enough to spend time there again. It was a privilege to be there.

Where to start? this place is just heaven on earth! the ground are impeccable, the staff is kind and attentive. And if you can, speaks to Francis, he is super helpful. The food is also delicious! all in all the p, ace is plain and simple amazing! we booked a tour thru the hotel and it was great also.

A peaceful place for relaxation.

I can not say enough about this amazing little gem. It is an absolutely beautiful and unique island resort Our weeks stay was full of relaxation and adventure. The complementary bikes, kayaks and paddle boards ensured plenty of play time the on site restaurant is simply Devine and their complementary breakfast buffet provided an abundance of delicious options that changed daily. And then there are the people of Ko Yao Noi who captured my heart. The warmth and kindness of the staff and locals is truly a gift. Everyone was so sincerely kind. Thank you everyone at Koyao for your hospitality.

Sprawling lawns with coconut trees opening into the most beautiful seascape you could imagine. This is picture-perfect postcard stuff right here.

This lovely, laid-back resort is our new favourite in Thailand. Beautiful views, lovely gardens and villas, infinity pool, pristine piece of beach with gently lapping waves and great spa and restaurant. Manager Joffrey made our visit superb. Great facilities such as free kayaks & bikes and motorbikes to rent — including a sidecar — made it easy to explore the delightful island. But hands down favourite for my son were the simple beach swings which provided hours of fun. The one-hour journey from Phuket airport was straightforward and we’ll worth it for the serenity.

Beautiful resort on a beautiful island. Everything about this place is so tasteful. Nothing is overdeveloped. Very accommodating and friendly staff. The restaurant has an elegant atmosphere with fantastic food. Highly recommend the hilltop tent accommodation; quiet, private with stunning views. Perfect for couples. Subtle luxury in paradise. Will be returning.

Amazing. This resort is absolutely beautiful. BOOK NOW IF : (1) you want to live a real experience with nature while still having a great place to sleep and shower, (2) you want to help locals from Koh Yao which are 90% of the staff, (3) you love romantic getaways and relaxation. What I loved : almost all of the food is produced from local ingredients and the employees are from the islands. There is many ways this Resorts helps the people and the wildlife. You will hear and see many animals around the resort. Must do : James Bond Island excursion, and treatment of your choice at the Spa (thaï massages are amazing) DON’T BOOK IF : (1) you are scared of mosquitoes (we sleep with nets to make sure we don’t get bitten) or (2) you have to live the life of the party (hotel is mostly for relaxation).

Ok, I was surprised by my wife with a short detour on our holidays and we ended with a 2 night stay at Ko Yao I was skeptical but got surprised that much! An island without tourist that spoil your stay and a resort who wants to brain read every single wish you have! Therefore 5 points for service, 5 for F&B and double 5 for the views! This is by far the best views we ever had in Phuket!
Yes, I am spoiled, therefore this tops my A-list of any holiday stays for the last 10year…s. And I am a 1% reviewer on TA… keep it up, this resort is amazing! Real review: the island does not offer any “beach” as per catalogue, but it is amazingly empty of Chinese or German tourists! Amazing foodie places and if you have your own pool, who cares about a beach?
Slightly more expensive than the mainland or phuket, we instantly fall in love with the island and the resort.
If we could buy a tented home like this, we would do within a second!

Aparently you don't have to die in order to get to Paradise. You just need to book a few nights in this resort.

Booking process was a bit vague. A bit pricey compared to surrounding resorts. Food good and staff friendly.

Very nice well maintained resort on an exclusively Muslim-populated island. The staff is extremely helpful and very nice. The bungalows are well maintained. Best Restaurant Pum Pui with international cuisine, but also correspondingly more expensive than the local restaurants — recommendation or alternative is the para bar about 300 away. There I recommend the Thai BBQ.

Unfortunately, we have had the experience that shortly after our 2nd vacation here on the island in this resort had been written by an employee and asked for financial support in the amount of 20.000, — baht, because in the family a heavy Fate has happened (father-accident-car-other person hit-bail-etc) This is untrue and attempted fraud in a sentimental way.
A well-known Swiss couple, who we met during our first holiday here, report almost the same action to the same person. They fell on it with 10, 000 baht.
To further info and in relation: the employee earns about 5.000, — Baht/month.

Very cool, very comfortable, very good kitchen: it makes up for a meal a day at the Resort. The villas have a lot of charm and breathtaking views. It's okay to rent a bike and take a trip to the Island.

I absolutely loved this hotel: clean, tidy but more importantly small, high class and very intimate. This is so much better, to my taste, than those big american style mass industrial resorts like Santhiya down in Ko Yao Yai! Amazing breakfast, space etc. You dont feel everybody breathing on your neck, queuing up for food or just showing off at the beach: there is room for an army but it's hosting only 10-15 villas! I would recommend to couples and people looking for complete relaxation! Restaurant is expensive and average at night, but I would really recommend Chan restaurant just around the corner: Google it, you won't be disappointed trust me. You can also rent cheap scooters at Chan Shop too. Don't miss out! Now, to the (important) things to improve: Staff trainees were really great, whereas some other non trainee employees were not very friendly, especially at the restarant during the evening. The beach got very dirty at dusk and dawn because of the tide and currents, so the hotel could assign someone at those times to pick up the high level of garbage that accumulates. I think it's reasonable as I did that with another guest in like 10 minutes every day!

Ok, we arrived by longboat at our private beach to welcoming staff and happily employed the barefoot policy. Simon was instantly accommodating, settled us in, and elaborated on a bunch of things we didn't even know were actually included in our week's stay. What a spot — top notch. Our room was great anyway buy we asked for a villa closer to the beach and the staff made it possible. The view is awesome, food sensational and pool/beach unparalleled. This is a life experience… Memories are made here.

This place is heaven. Awesome landscape, nice rooms, and very kind stuff. Breakfast was great as they prepare in a moment the dishes of your choose. We enjoyed the nice pool and thai shower. Also free kayak and bikes are available. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place without many tourists this is your resort.

This was a fantastic getaway over Christmas. Spent almost a week here, rented a scooter, and drove all around the island, which doesn't take long. At the time, there was a lot of construction on the island, and now resorts are popping up everywhere. The staff here were great, and the food was excellent. Venture out into "town" and find some local food as well. It's more rustic than mainland, but that's its charm.

The place is beautiful. The cabins as the who appear in photos, is not misleading publicity. Helpful staff, the food delicious and prices more than reasonable.
I give it 5 stars because there is no 6.

In paradise — between sunbathing, relaxing and adventures We had a great time in this outstanding resort. Already the splendid view is worth a trip.
Do the passage on sea by longtailboat from Phuket or Krabi. We spent 8 perfect days between relaxing and adventures. We had a lovely villa for two, just perfect for a couple.
The villas are situated in a palm garden adjacent to the sea. In these surroundings we could forget our busy everyday life. There is no mass tourism and in the resort reign ecological principles.
My favourite place was one of the hammocks near the beach to read a book, listen to music or admire the scenic view. We could always take some bikes for free to have a ride around the island or use a kayak to explore the surroundings off shore.
Once we paddled to a small island an hour away and enjoyed a romantic picnic on the beach, thanks to the staff for a memorable excursion!
The resort has a wide variety to offer: a beautiful beach, an infinity pool, a palm garden for relaxation, sunbathing, playing Frisbee, having a massage plus doing sports by bike, kayak, free yoga lessons etc. We had as well some special offers for free, like movie night, guitar concert and a boat trip to Phang Nga Island. The staff knows how to make your day perfect! We booked as well a trip to theTiger temple which was an exhausting but rewarding adventure!
