A wonderful place to stay in Ao Nang. Stylish, clean, great food & lots of fun.

One of the best coffee in Thailand. I have a nice time there. It was easy to rent a motorcycle. Andy, the staff and Chatchada are very nice people. I'm feel warm and home in my time.

Oh, I just loved my stay here! First and foremost, Andy, Chatchada and Palm all treat you like family! This guesthouse is a place where you will certainly make lifelong friends if you only get out of your room and enjoy breakfast or an evening cocktail with the owners, the local ex-pats and the other guests. My room was absolutely stunning with floor to ceiling windows and a breathtaking view (top floor. ) The linens and pillows were plush, the curtains blocked the morning sun…, and the mini fridge kept fruit and beer cool. I found the wardrobe to be an added bonus that kept me organized and the balcony great for a breezy evening. There is a cold Air conditioner and a fan! Rooms are tiled throughout and the bathroom has granite counters. Toiletries are provided and complimentary water; just bring yourself. This place really is much more than you pay for. I didn't have a chance to try Chatchada's cooking, but Andy makes a swell breakfast, tasty boiled prawns and will almost anything if the masses will eat it! Let Palm arrange all your excursions, tours and sightseeing; I guarantee you'll save a few Baht and have a blast. Thank you so much to everyone at Chatchada for welcoming me into your home and making me feel life family. Chokh di ka! Note: with only 5 rooms, this place fills up fast. Book in advance through Agoda or something similar.

Chatchadas is more than just a Guesthouse. It is in a prime position on the road leading to Ap Nang Beach. The food is varied ranging from Aussie style breakfasts to fabulous Thai food. It is very reasonably priced. The bar offers a range of cool beverages. Bike hire is available and there is a tour desk. Helpful advice and friendly staff, always willing to chat and share a laugh. Pleasant comfortable rooms add to the ambience.

Comfortable place. The owners just great! Organize your tours get discounts, transfers to the airport, etc… the legendary cappuccino… clean, cheerful, safe.

11 points from 10 to everything. We just arrived and already feels like home. During our thailand travel this place have the best atmosphere! Unexpected warm welcome, super friendly people, beautiful clean room, big bathroom.
As they know that we came in purpose of honeymoon, they wasn't shy to prepare a number 1 lovely decoration for us. Highly recommended! And as anyone can see from previous reviews, before me all the 38 people give the maximum: 5* :)

Lovely owner. Lovely clean place. Slightly far from the beach but the calm ambiance that we get from this place is surely a plus.

Fantastic alternative to the crowded hotels in the center! *Extremely friendly and helpful staff! They prepared a 'honey-moon-cake' for us! Also there were few little problems with our room but they were immediately fixed by the staff. *Nice breakfast which you can order the whole day — you can sleep till 11 and you don't miss it as it's usually in hotels. *The room and bathroom were perfectly clean. Two huge windows make the room very bright. *The location is acceptable — to the beach ~15 min by walk or 2 min by tuk-tuk (100B/2 people). 1 min to Tesco! *Regarding the islands trips you can find better prices in the travel agencies. *The view from our room could be better (I imagine on the 3rd/4th floor it's OK).

In a word, excellent. Great Aussie brekky, good value and Australian host with lovely Thai partner. A must go to.

Very good hotel, a little off the beach which allows to have correct prices on the restaurants and on the room. The reception was perfect by the owner. Do not hesitate!

A very nice location to spend time and enjoy the surrounding area. Andy and his wife Chatchada really try to make sure everyone has a nice stay! They also rent out Scooters for a very fair price. We simply enjoyed staying for 6 nights in this location exploring the beautiful landscape and nearby beaches!

Place to come back again, great attention and kindness from the owner, excellent.

Mama Chatda & her partner gives us the best hospitality ever. We were requested to check in earlier and she tried her best to gives us the comfortableeeess stay we had. The staff and both of them were very friendly. Chatchada House is the best place to stay in Ao Nang!

Best Bacon and Cackleberries (Bumnuts) in Ao Nang.

The air conditioning worked very well, the rooms were very clean and the staff was very attentive. The location was a bit far from the beach but there were plenty of local dining places within a 3 minute walk. Also the nearby 7-11 helped a lot.

Definitely the best place to stay in Ao Nang. The friendliest people and amazing facilities! Greetings Chatchada!

Love everything about this place, the beach is far but you can rent a motorbike there and go pretty much any where.

Nice owners, great stuff, nice and clean rooms. Just be ready to walk 2km to beach.

Very helpfull and kind owners. They can help arrange almost everything! We got superior room with fridge, safe, AC and fan and balcony. Room was just superb. Really clean with compfotrable bed. Location from beach by walk — about 15-20 min. You can rent scooter here and eat excellent Chatchada special meals, which I actuallu consider best dish I ate in Thailand. If I ever come back here — i'll pick this hotel again.

Best coffee in Krabi! :-) you will not regret staying there. The owner and his family create a friendly and family atmosphere. You will feel like at home. I strongly recommend the hotel.

What can I say! You will not be disappointed if you stay here. The rooms are beautifully appointed to a very high standard that includes wide screen LCD TV, fridge, electronic safe, aircon AND a fan and FREE high speed internet. The beds and mattresses are also brand new (as with everything else) and are extremely comfy! The best part about my stay here, however, was the wonderful friendly owners, Andy and Chatchada. They really are genuinely awesome people who really make you feel welcome and relaxed. Andy can rustle up one of the finest full cooked breakfasts in the Northern hemisphere (not bad considering he is from the Southern) let alone Ao Nang. Worth an over night stay just for that. And Chatchada is quite possibly the friendliest and most welcoming Thai person in the world who, as an added bonus, is also one of the best cooks! I really feel like I made 2 new friends while staying here. The location, although not right next to the beach, is only a few minutes on a moped and right next to some of the best eateries Ao Nang has to offer. There is also a great Pizza place right across the road if you fancy something a little more like home. You are also not too far from the local night life and bars. Although, to be honest, the beer fridge in the lobby with its Singha, Chang, Leo and Heineken were more than enough for me! Especially the warm and friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic place! The hotel is new and only opened a couple of months ago. The owner and manager are super nice and really take extra good care of everyone. They paid a lot of attention to detail to make what could be just another hotel, into a great place. What really makes the place though are the owner and manager (Chatchada and Andy). They are always smiling and laughing and making sure everyone feels at home. Chatchada cooks gorgeous Thai food and will gladly teach anyone who is interested to learn. Andy cooks up a proper English breakfast, with real Cumberland sausage (the only place in town that has the real stuff), Most nights, they are downstairs with the hotel guests, having a laugh and a few drinks. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely stay there again, when we go back. Highly recommended.
