We had an amazing experience staying here. Great bohemian vibe, beautiful views and friendly down to earth staff. I highly recommend stopping by during your Thailand stay.

Amazing quiet place to spend time away from the city! People are more than welcoming and always here to help. Moreover the place is well located as there are boats going to Railway, Phi Phi. Not far from Dawn of Happiness by foot.

I love this place, nice staff, nice view.

Only for jungle warriors. It s beachfront, but the beach is not so beautiful not even clean. Bungalows are not well maintained, dirty and smelly and it s not even cheap.

If you want to experience the way people live a minimalist but happy life, this is where you should go. However, if you mainly concerned about amenities and other privileges, this is not the place for you.

I loved the bungalows facing the sea.
It is a place where you feel in the heart of nature. In the sea and in the jungle.
In front of Krabi's Rocky Mountains give you a different view of other beaches.
A place to find calm and peace.

Don't expect the luxury hotel, over all manny the owner is a great person, hospitality very nice.

The location is not very good, the beach looks disappointing. But the staff is quite helpful and good people gather there. It's calm and clean too.

Dawn of Happiness gets 5 stars for the friendliness, the tranquility, the relaxation, the dreamlike backdrop and the cordiality. We drank the local cocktails in the evening and they spoiled us with delicious fish rice soup at night. It was very harmonious and familiar, as one belongs to them.
The breakfast is made by yourself and there are eggs, toast and fruit available. It is not a hotel and you should love nature (we had the first night 1 huge cockroach in the bathroom and 1 gecko under my pillow), but the animals do not bite. The bungalows are simple, the mattresses are very hard, but if you want to escape the mass tourism, you will get the perfect Thailand presented here. Price-Performance Okay. Swimming is not really possible, but it is enough to splash around. We have our first stay in the dawn of happiness and will be back in a few days.

Just the place to be! Quiet beach, good people and amazing bungalows. I really recommended this place. Everwthing is still around. Railay beach, krabi and aonang beach.

The water of course there is mostly unclear, but those who are already on Thai serene relaxation will appreciate this atmosphere, we after the fish farms and after the elephants came here for lunch, go to the most left café there owner Malaysian aged, fried rice 120 baht, a huge portion and it Sample of good Thai food! Recommend.

This is the most amazing place. Right on a beautiful tropical beach, the setting is magnificent. Only 10 minutes from the heart of Ao Nang but everything you have ever imagined an unspoiled paradise to be. There is a Kids Club, Wi-Fi, a beautiful restaurant & bar to sip a cocktail and watch the sunset. Free transfers also available.

A charming, quiet, and picturesque beach side location. Hammocks line the beach outside the simple huts (which have basic facilities), and local dogs travers the beach, as well as the odd horse ride. It's a simple and quiet place to relax, with Andamana restaurant next door for a drink or meal in the evening. A basic place to stay but a pleasant enough change from busier areas in and around Krabi.

Lovely small homestay/resort. If u seek for freedom, love and peace this place is ur number one choice. But if u search for a 5 star resort all Inc, then u should avoid it. The staff is really friendly, the beach perfect and the breakfast buffet really tasty so as the dinner (always prepared by the chef). Also they have a couple of really loveable cats. The area is really quite but in five minutes distance to almost everything u could need. Next time I come to Thailand I'll definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything.

The view on the bay is very peaceful The sunsets are wanderful The owner is very nice and friendly The employee is pretty cool The food is always good, be sure you reserve it for the evening The huts are fine with the material they have been made of. Dear travelers and backpackers, this hostel has caused a tramautic, and nearly life threatening occurrence. While a 19 year old female friend of mine which whom I was traveling with in Krabi, Thailand was staying we found it to be the scariest experience for her in all her short 19 years. She had gone back to her private room after a long day down by the beach and was trying to fall asleep when the door suddenly was unlocked and pushed open. She went to check to see if I was at the door, when she looked there was no one to be found; I was at dinner with other friends. She then quickly locked the door, and after a bit of panic, and frantic worry mode enabled, she tried to fall back asleep. After a short while and a little sleep later in her private room, she was awaken from a Thai man standing over her bed, insisting she go with him and his friends in the running vehicle parked close, behind the private hut. She asks him "why are you here? " "No" and "What is going on? " He then reaches out to grab her hand. At which point she begins to yell for help, and by the grace of god a fellow traveller asks "what is going on" she replied from her private room "I just need to get out of my room" after the friendly traveler came closer, she found the opportunity to escape this horrific scene, and people. She said it was the father of the owner standing over her bed, I am sure the hostel employees were in on the trick to what I suspect traffic.

The best place with bungalows hidden amongst the trees, stunning beach and jungle vibe all away from the madding crowds! Perfect… eat, drink, relax, be happy!

Rustic bungalows & beach bar is the perfect spot to chill & relax on the beach. Includes self serve breakfast and for a small cost sign up for a tasty dinner family style. The owners are friendly and super go out of their way to make you comfortable. The rooms are clean and so was our bathroom. The beds could be replaced only because they are springs. They were very clean. Feels like you are away from the world. A taxi gets you into town, piers, airport.

If you're backpacking and want a cheap place to stay on the beach that is close to port, town and activities then it's great. There's a free breakfast of eggs toast fruit and coffee. A locally prepared dinner only costs 120 baht. There's a bar and a Thai masseuse on site. People are also friendly. The roof leaked on our beds while we were in town and were told to just move our bed over. There were also many different bugs and wildlife in the rooms… but it was like camping and these are traditional huts.

I stayed here in 2006 for a month if you really want to get away from the hustle and bustle you will love this place, its on a private beach it has an amazing restaurant that is so cheap you will pinch yourself — it is outdoors on the decking which makes it very romantic. The staff are wonderful and so helpful they were like family to me. It is a few miles from the centre of Krabi but you can get a taxi or tuk tuk bike very cheap. At night its really dark quite early so be prepared for that, they do have toilets proper ones lol and the beds are comfy and have nets over them, a real robinson crusoe experience with a bit of romance.

Beautiful beach and the food is very artistically decorated, and tastes very good. Everywhere on the beach bean bags and hang hammocks. Very relaxed.

Beautiful and very simple little secret away from the crowds. Lovely staff and a relaxed rasta atmosphere. Connections with a little "bus" to Ao nammao pier to go to railay beach or to Ao Nang to the buzzling streets… Love it here :)
