Baan Talay Resort & Yoga Resort

As a newbie to yoga I have just completed a first week of yoga classes with Dev and it has been extremely enjoyable and very interesting learning from such a knowledgeable and passionate instructor about what is happening in our bodies. Every day there is something new to learn and practice, and over the week I have felt an improvement in my own strength and flexibility and also in my breathing control.
I am looking forward to the forthcoming weeks. Thankyou :)

This is the most beautiful place in all of Koh Tao. Do yourself a favor — stay there or at the very least go have lunch! The yoga is some of the best I’ve ever encountered. I studied for a month with K. Dev and learned an immense amount. Plus — you can get certified to be a freediver at the same time! What a magical place indeed….

The perfect place to relax and unwind surrounded by nature, the sounds of nature and outstanding seaviews. A bungalow with a big patio to relax with a book in the evening, comfortable bed and a supercool bathroom.
the onsite restaurant with breathtaking view over Aow Leuk Bay, Shark Island and the vast ocean and on top of that the best food I have ever tasted, they even have a vegetable garden that is growing every day.
staff and owners bring excellent service while at the same time making you feel like one of the family. the yoga studio and classes held is the perfect way to get ready for the evening after a day soaking up the sun and snorkeling from the private sun lounge area. And of course, seaview from everywhere.

Really nice place to stay on the mountain and near the sea. The big tent is very beautiful and comfortable too.
I will be back to stayagain for sure! ❤

We loved our stay here! It is full of nature and is tranquil and beautiful. The staff is very friendly and the food is great. This is great spot for some peace and quiet surrounded by gorgeous views and nature.

Nice cheap accommodation, discounts if you dive with them. Huts very basic but definitely worth a visit. Fantastic view of Aow Leuk Bay. Long steep walk down to the shore but it's worth it for the snorkeling.

Such a cozy, friendly and relaxing place to stay in Koh Tao. We had a small hut with just a fan but it was totally fine. Very good bed and the best was the shower under the trees. Do not be afraid about the gekos. And we had an outstanding view over the bay. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant is delicious and on the patio with an awesome view. Service is great too.

Perfect place. Clean nice rooms, amazing open air bathroom. Place has a diving school in their resort hotel. Place owner is so nice and helpful.

I loved Baan Talay and the people who work there. The only improvements I would make would be to include more fresh fish/ prawns in the menu and to improve the access to the snorkelling spots. (Entry into the water). But best value for money in Koh Tao.
