Rip off. I booked at ticket to Koh Phayam from Hua Hin for 1600 bhat. There was no communication. I expected a sleeper bus strait to Ranong. They dropped me in Chumphon at 3am to wait for 3 1/2 hours for a connection. I could have got a bus to Ranong for half the price and half the trouble. No meals, no water. I have been on so many better busses in Thailand.

The travel agency of choice in Chumphon. Has everything you need — Wi-Fi, coffee, food, tickets & tours. I booked Lomprayah to Koh Tao with them and was happy with what they charged. Only a little bit more than regular fare and a taxi was included. Food is quite pricey and medium quality but it’s convenient to eat there. Service was ok.

We arrived at Chumpon airport and made reservation for transfer to Koh Tao. We were picked up at airport at 8.35am and dropped off at the town office first. As the only hi-speed boat in the afternoon at one o'clock, we shall spend about 2 hours at town before being transfered to the pier.

A nice friendly place 5 minutes or so walk from the train station. It's a nice place to hang out. There's tourist information here. Western food can be expensive though. I went for a red curry for 80 baht and a large Chang for 100 Baht. There's free Wi-Fi.

Thanks for nothing Booked and paid a bus for 7Am to Bangkok The bus just didnt exist so we the whole journey took us 19 hours. Dont Trust Fame Tours!

Nice staff, nearly everyone able to speak english, cheap rooms, bustickets too expensive, nice meals.

Offered us transfer Champorn to Surat Thani airport for 500 bhat per person. Then I asked the guy how much would be a ticket to Surat Thani itself he said 300 bhat. So the airport is on the way to/before the town and from main road 3km. So I commented that it would be 200 per person for 3km. Then he looked through some price lists in his privat papers and said actually it is 400 bhat to the airport. He saw we are a little hesitant, then I commented that our concern is fairness of the price. All of a surprise he switched back to 500 bhat to the airport and 400 to the town. We left it at that. And next morning walked to the minivan station ourselves (it's on Google maps) and bought tickets for the same minivan to the Surat thani airport for 280 bhat. Ticket to Surat Thani costs 180 bhat. That's our experience. Vans leave when that fill up with passengers. Our waiting time was 20 min.

Great people to do business with. Spoke good English. Great place to get the bus as there are refreshments and good food there. Very clean toilet.

Overpriced tourist food. Overpriced tickets. Mobile charge 10 bht? Talking about stupid tourists in thai. Can not recommend.

Excellent service, decent prices and great customer service.

This is a great place to get tickets booked or hang out while waiting for the boat/train. The staff are friendly, honest, and very helpful. Most of the staff speak English, and all live in the area so can give you great recommendations about where to go or what to do. I love the bread here, so any meal you get that includes the 'olive oil bread' is sure to be a winner. They also have cheap rooms which are great if you want to have a nap and shower while waiting for your connections, or bigger rooms with air con if you want to stay the night. They also offer baggage drop, motorbike rentals, local tour bookings, and more.

Not reliable. I booked direkt taxi from
Chumpon pier to the airport because had only 1, 5 hours. As it is extra service, costs a fortune, 800 baht. The taxi driver should have been waiting with a sign with my name on. There was no taxi driver waiting for me : (I had to go to the town first and then to the airport. At Fame tour office the car was not working, they had to find another car. Hardly cought my flight. Excellent organisation… : (
