Lakeside Garden Hotel

I paid 400฿ (13 USD) for one night. I think it’s expensive a bit because it’s low season. Room has a nice lake view. But some receptionist didn’t give a good service. Room is clean. It’s fan room. Bathroom is clean but small and toilet seat broken. No TV, no refrigerator, only has towel and one soap. Good thing is near walking street market, I can go to have dinner there, there are many kinds of food.

It was really clean, quiet and great location. The staff Is really kind. The mattress was not the best but it's okay.

Room, Bath is OK, however no sufficient blankets for the morning cold are provided. 400 Baht for room with Lakeview is reasonable. The staff is unfriendly and tried to force me in a much worse room, which stank. So I demanded my money Back and checked out.

Basic accommodation with a good location. Close to walking street, nice view, can be a bit loud by the lake.

Mediocre stay at a mediocre place. A positive was the shower was warm and had good water pressure plus the back of the building opens up to the lake and where the night market is held. Bed was very uncomfortable. Sheets and room appeared clean. Walls are all cement. Shades did not cover window. You could feel every spring in your back on the mattress. Private room with bathroom was 450 bhat during the high season. Wouldn't go back again but ok for a night.

The place is very well located in front of the lake with a little gate through which you can go directly on the lake during the day (in the night it's closed). The problem is that our room was dirty. The blanket has a cat's pees on it and when we told that to the owners they seemed to not smell it (really impossible, the blanket was also of an other colour in the point) and said that probably it was only humid because during the rainy season it is difficult to get things dry. At least they change our blanket. The room was not clean in general with hair a bit everywhere. The price was 400 BAHT, really expensive in this season for such a comfort. The owner was very kind a part from the episode of the blanket.

Cheap and cheerful place in the very center of the village — all a tired traveller on a bike might need :). The owners are super friendly too.

Excellent location (in front of the lake) and cheap for what you get. I spent one night in a twin room (private bathroom) and one night in a single-bed room (shared bathroom). DIY coffee for 10 THB. They also have a garden-bar.

Lovely and helpful owners! The views really are the best, right by the lake and opposite the beautiful temples. Rooms were clean and great value for money. Close by to all the cute little spots.

Nice guesthouse, lovely garden area to relax after a hot day or to escape from the heat at noon. Owners are very friendly and can give advice on activities in the region (Scottisch guy, so English isn't a problem :-) ).
They also have a scooter you can rent.
Backdoor exits right at the lake, where there's an evening market everyday. Frontdoor is only a 2 minute walk from the main street. So… great location!
Windows had mosquito screens so we could air the room without being worried.

The place is owned by a Scottish guy who is really friendly. It's cheap and in an excellent location. The place sells breakfast and also beers in the evening. The lake it's situated next to is home to a night market where you can get some excellent food. I would recommend this to anyone.
