Hotel really not great.
For a 4 star hotel, have a swimming pool that is not filtered, very dangerous.
Also if you don't eat meat like us, there is no need to have breakfast. It's all meat-based.

Nice, large rooms, but no bedtable/lamp). Very nice pool. Breakfast large variety, but staff did not do anything about the hair we found in our food!

Fantastic Hotel with low facilities, developed in width, with rooms arranged for cottages.
The rooms are large, beautifully furnished, equipped with all the comforts.
Powerful Wifi.
The kitchen is very well stocked and the dishes great.
It is truly extraordinary to wander around the property and enjoy the surrounding nature.

The bungalows are very nice and the overall atmosphere of the hotel is nice. The service is not bad, although the breakfast was the one we least liked about the trip. It's a little out of town, but a five minute taxi ride away. Worst of all the smell of moisture from the rooms.

Very welcoming hotel for the facilities and for the staff. We were in one of the cottages that overlook small lakes and it was very cozy and the size was very good. The bad thing was the shower that to shower you had to take it patiently, since there was almost no water.
The restaurant for breakfast was ok, we had dinner one night buffet and another night of menu, the prices were ok and the quality acceptable. Far from the center of chiang rai, but they had in the hotel tuk tuk and taxis.

I only visited the spa as a non resident. The body scrub and massage I had was fine but the shower was terrible. I had to stand in an old bath tub, the water pressure was so low I had trouble getting the body scrub residue off. There was no hot water. Having paid 1790 Baht I expected a lot better. Not going back ever. I cannot comment on the rest of the resort.

Nice room, clean, in a beautiful resort. Varied and plentiful Buffet. Staff friendly and smiling.

The place is beautiful. It's a little far from the center.

Very pleasent and relaxing place. Extreamly accomadating and freindly ownwers. Rooms nead airing to help reduce moist smell if closed up long periods. Recomendable.

A bit far away the city center. If you love the green area you would like it. It is also very quiet. Good taste of food in the restaurant.

Alberto Splendid! The rooms are independent houses immersed in a kind of zen garden with a pond with water lilies.

Better than a hotel. This resort and spa offers individual cottages with lots of space. Small items were not working in the room however were fixed within an hour of notifying the front desk. Much nicer than having noisy people in a room next to you. There is a pool, bar and a restaurant. Beautiful ponds, florals and manicured surroundings. Definitely a place I will choose again if in the same area. Also, be advised that the beds are a bit hard and breakfast could be better. It also seems they have trouble keeping these basic yhings working… like the telephone.

Room 205, old very basic. Beds are hard, you can feel the springs poking in your back. Hole in the ceiling with ants coming out of it. Ants coming out the airco. Airco was broken when we arrived. Musquitos and other insects flying around. Pool is broken, one part has sunk so low that the water pooring out over the top of the pool. NO filtration.

Beautiful setting. Clean and large cottages. Cottages are comparable to a large 2 room hotel rooms: bathroom and bedroom that extends to living area, no hall. Nice interior with lots of wood.

Very nice boutique resort with big garden.

Phowadol is a peaceful out of town resort. Decent facilities similar to a 3 star hotel. The sewage system needs an overhaul. The sewage line outside the room got clogged 2 times in our 2 day stay.

Good service and huge resort in chiang rai.
