Room 102A Dirty, especially under the beds. Walls had not been cleaned still had previously smashed bugs on them. Beds were super hard, hardest we have had in three months traveling in Asia fron Vietnam, Cambodia to Thailand. Bathroom was moldy and the whole place didn't have any windows except for a tiny little square glass one in the bathroom. Super dirty and loud exhaust fan in the bathroom. Did not eat there (for obvious reasons) so can't comment on the food. They need to scrub and repaint the rooms. Location OK about 10-15 minutes outside of downtown very close to the river. Has some outdoor chill area looked ok. Seems like the cleaning ladies just swept and changed your sheets not much else. King bed w air conditioning. Refrigerator, TV with a few sat channels all in Thai. Small porch with a chair not much furniture inside. We left after a few days because the beds wet just killing us, went to Baan Bau Guesthouse right downtown and we were much happier. Same price at Baan Bau and much cleaner.

Very good relation quality/price. If you like quiet, nature (but in town) is your place. Don't take the shared bathroom rooms for a better experience (the price difference is nothing compared with what you get).

Poor quality Hotel reservation made on booking not matching the arrival no restaurant on site room a real slum.

Clean but humid rooms the host is nice. We did not test the restaurant side.

A tragedy…
"Rooms" too hot that stink of closed. To fight the scorching heat and the stench you can turn on the fan that will not change absolutely anything…
Wifi poor precarious Toilets and hygiene less than 0.
Both outside and inside the room you have to be careful (especially at night) that there are no gecchi, insects and any other living form.
In A nutshell: If you are in DIRE need of 1 mattress and a "rooftop" this place is for you!

The room was damp and smelled of the enclosed, however the setting in which the hotel is located is pretty close to the road, along the river. The best thing is the excellent hike proposed, in which one is taken to the village Akha, to the mountain, crossing the jungle.

Very beautiful place near the river and very quite.

Amazing place, on the side of the road… very easy to find and it's worth more than a 5 star hotel for it's originality, the treat of the staff there. The simple room had an amazing double king bed, made 100% bamboo. Totally recommended to people who see this and I definitely recommend to my friends if they are doing a trip to Chaing Rai.

Very dirty low quality hostel. Smelling. Old.

The most dirty place that I've ever been on my life, and Im a traveller and not looking for anything special, only clean and suitable. The toilet was the worse thing on the house. The beds are too old and it's hard to find yourself comfortable in them. It's sad to find places like that. Staff was okay and the place is close to the town.

This place seems run down, neglected, at least the area with shared bathroom that I stayed in. I don't need a place to be perfect, just clean and functional. The room was okay, sheets clean, nice style with bamboo bed and calling fan. Bathrooms were dirty, could be better. Toilet was blocked, needs some fixing up.

So old and dirty. Smelling and muffy. Absolute a minus.

The accomodation is near the city center, next to the river. Room was big enough and ok, service to. Just we didnt get any free bikes as the booking advice said. For the price you spend here is ok.

Very close to the main road so is very noisy even in the night. The weakness is cleaning. One thing works really good is Wi-Fi.

The rooms are very clean and luxurious. Hiking in the Akha village made the Guide dubbed Moss was a highlight of our stay in Thailand. Kitchen in bamboo, visits to villages, walking in the forest…

The trekking tour was a very nice experience. Thank you for the wonderful time.
