I am staying here now and 06:xx was wake up by someone using a microphone speaking out in the garden. Never staying in the hotel was wake up by. I was disappointed and unexpected that the main lobby is under renovation and cannot see most beautiful picture show on the website. The staff was nice and helpful. The furniture in the room was too old. The swimming pool is so small. If you said this is a luxury hotel under Sofitel group. This is really below standard. Disappointed.

Fantastic location with a pristine view over the surrounding mountains. Staff are very friendly and forthcoming. Breakfast includes a variety of options, including an egg frying station and fresh seasonal fruit. Room was clean and spacious. Highly recommended.

Do not stay anywhere else. This is by far our favorite place, soooooooo relaxing! Kind of a jungle retreat jurassic park style vibe. Lots of good staff and very friendly. Epic pool and good breakfast. Don't hesitate!

Very nice facility near cm. Cheap compared to European 5 star hotels, but also in some places small apparent wear of the interior. The pool is a must visit for every cm.

A nice hotel located outside the city. A large well-groomed area. Great breakfasts, lovely pool with wonderful views. Beautiful dawns and sunsets open from the pool.

After 3 nights at Nimman area, staying at Veranda was totally different experience from the time that we enjoyed at Chiang-mai. Swimming and relaxing at infinity pool was nice experience. Breakfast buffet is OK but not many choices. This place is very isolated from everything in Chiang-mai so you'd better not planning to travel around the city during daytime and come back at night-time. They have limited shuttle to Nimman/NightBazaar and you may not be able to finish what you want to do with given hours. Stayed three nights and found ants in the room but mosquito was not a big threat as we originally concerned. It has the most beautiful lobby, esp. At night. A very good place for relaxing, surrounded by the mountains and trees.

Serene, beautiful, transcendent. It's hard to describe how magical this place is. Every square foot has been designed to blend the natural and modern worlds for maximum relaxation and tranquility. A trip to Chiang Mai would be incomplete without at least a couple nights at Veranda.

I truly loved my experience here at Veranda High. Although prices can be a little steep, you get the full value of the place within a single night of stay here at the resort. We got the Jacuzzi room for my anniversary stay, and I definitely did not regret doing so. From the service I got (kudos to Poy from the front desk), to the constant care we got from the entire team, it's truly impeccable. Even the restaurant where we had lunch and breakfast (kudos to Aeiu) had someone constantly checking in on us in case we needed anything. Food recommendations were also great. There are also many scenic and photogenic spots here in this resort, so do make sure you walk around and explore it in its entirety. It's easily accessible by Uber or Grab, so fret not. Just make sure you buffer additional time for travelling (it's about 30-45 mins from Nimman district), and on the way back, drivers will most likely need to come up from the main city to get you (have about 20mins of spare driving time).

The resort is located just outside of Chang Mai, the taxi ride costs ZW. 300-550 bath and lasts for about 30 to 40 minutes after traffic. There is a shuttle service from the hotel three times a day. The large, well-maintained and quiet grounds with a view of paddy fields and the friendly staff are a positive highlight. We had booked a Jacuzzi pavilion — ideal if the weather doesn't play along, the Jacuzzi on the terrace can also be filled with warm water. Breakfast is extensive, there was nothing missing.
Nevertheless, the resort does not get the full score. The wood that is so often used here is not maintained and is already greyed out in places. The same applies to the furniture and the washbasins in the room, which sometimes look very worn or have already formed moulds. The same applies to the equipment in the fitness center: These are apparently not maintained. There is also a lack of possibilities to disinfect the devices; The bicycle ergometer totally stuck and was therefore unusable.
The room service was also negatively noticed. The two pizzas ordered with extra garlic came only after 45 minutes. Unfortunately it was knocked on the wrong door and you had to go out of the pavilion because the employee did not listen to my calls. One of the pizzas was then completely cold and instead of the ordered garlic was delivered extra ketchup. It's not allowed to happen at a 5 * hotel.
All in all, the resort is still recommended!

Not brand new but still very aesthetically beautiful hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast. Late check out despite high occupancy much appreciated Highlight is the infinity pool with view on the surrounding lush greenery. Definitely recommended!

Very peaceful and quiet. Perfect way to get closer to nature. The room was very comfortable and clean. Service was polite. This is a great place to stay.

Was here for a wedding. If you're thinking of getting married here, their rooms are huge and they have a great Villa for the after parties. The pool side for solemnization has a very picturesque backdrop. Just do it late afternoon. Time your ceremony to be 5-10 mins before sun down. Rooms are magnificently sized and have a genius way to combine 2 rooms into a family suite. However, the rooms have a funny way of sliding walls to separate bathrooms and bedrooms. They sort of work. Sort of. Alot of the hardware is very dated tho. Tiles and floor lights around the property are covered in algae, or rusted. The sinks and shower faucets are also a little sticky. Looks like they're due for replacement soon. The washrooms all use amazingly scented Thann soaps (Thai brand). I'd stay here again, but not with kids. 2-3 days max. There are just 2 restaurants though. Thai dishes are great. Western dishes not so good. But hey… It's Thailand.

Very nice setting in the hills outside CM. Beautiful place with a large park and walkways, a temple across the hills that can be viewed from the scenery room and the pool. Food in restaurant and room service is a bit too expensive, they're taking advantage of the fact that you don't have any other option nearby.

Amazing service excellent rooms superb pool I will come back for sure. The staff was very helpful in solving my problems very fast and very polite I thank them very much.

Great spot for a relaxing holiday. Staff, facilities and the room are excellent. Not much to do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel if you are wanting to explore, but the hotel has shuttle buses to Chiang Mai city and Niman Road. Food in restaurants are good and reasonably priced for a hotel of this quality.

Just beautiful… the room is stella 5 stars and service is great. In addition to that, it is so quiet and peaceful with breath taking view of the north.

5 star and they aren't enough… best luxury hotel in chang mai… staff, open space, rooms, swimming pool are at the top! really excellent.

A great place to relax. You are surrounded by mountains and the sky. Wonderful environment. Please be reminded that it is far away from the city centre. If you want to enjoy the vibe of the city, this hotel may not be a good choice.

Beautiful place for relax. Nice scenery and environment. Thumbs up for their staff who even guide you to the room as we came back late and the path is a bit dark. Swimming pool has a beautiful view but need some improvement on the pool cleanliness or pool maintenance.

A return visit and will definitely come again. Caring and attentive staff that went beyond expectations, again. I stayed with my 3 children, 5, 12 and 14, who loved this place for the second time. Very agreeable accommodation, good food and excellent service. A choice of pools and we enjoyed a hidden and quiet pool by the suites where we stayed. Peaceful. Relaxing. Quality. Memorable and for all the right reasons! Highly recommended.

This resort has a really unique design. Water features and lush mountain greenery seem to encompass the theme. Interspersed in all of this is the futuristic grey architecture of the place. Very appealing. Popular spot for a swim. You can just show up and pay to use the infinity pool all day. Perhaps have lunch at the restaurant too. Its pricey, but the food is very nice and so is the view.
