Room service and everything else was lovely. The AC never got as cool as expected, so sleeping at night was a little rough.

I would class this a 3 star hotel. I'll never understand how some hotels get away with 4/5 star ratings. It's beyond me. I did love the Vintage / Italy ambiance about this hotel. This hotel was a lovely stay. Although it was a little out of the way it was perfect. Pros: Lovely day time staff. Nighttime staff very little English. Room was spotless clean. Cosy bed. Free Wi-Fi. Basic breakfast. Two complimentary waters in room. Quiet location. Mini market (beside the hotel or one 2 minutes away) Although we asked for a junior suite we felt as though we got a basic room? We did go to reception and question this but they kept telling us it was a junior suite! I'm still questing it still… Cons: Bathroom water leaked almost everywhere. Whatever way the bathroom / bath layout is, shower water spreads everywhere. No taxi or tuk tuk knew the hotel location. The TV kept switching off by itself, and I had to constantly plug out the plug socket and back in to the wall to work. Numerous times this was done. The air-con unit wasn't on the wall properly. Breakfast was nice although very limited breakfast items to choose from. Very standard. Small portions. My partner did feel ripped off like it was just a basic hotel. But… All and all, nice stay. Yes, Basic hotel. So much to do and see in Chiang Mai we were hardly ever at the hotel. Bed, shower, breakfast and out the door.

Hotel friendly located in the old town in a small quiet street. Beautiful room, impeccable cleanliness, staff small care, small swimming pool, bar, restaurant. I recommend it!
