Good view on the seventh-teen floor with nice mocktail.

The food was delicious and good value. I had a buffet lunch.

We had issues with our room when we first arrived. The staff was very accommodating and got us a new room. Sadly there were issues with that room as well. The staff went out of their way to make it right and got us a third room. The last room was great, recently updated on the 17th floor with great views of the mountains.
When you travel count on there to be bumps in the road. Nothing is ever 100% perfect but it’s nice to know that the hotel staff here will do what they can to make it right.

Wooow… More than we expected for the price we paid. The suite really big, with 2 big rooms, that I think just renovated, very clean and spacious. The services were very nice from the time we arrived, greeted by the doorman, they took care of our belonging from the car to our room with smiles, we just do some administration at the reception. The air conditioning, toiletries, all look new. Near mall, and there is small restaurant in front of the hotel that is cheap and delicious.

Reat hotel. All facilities are excellent. Rooms are convenient. Swimming pool very fine but the water is a little bit cold. There is sauna and steam bath and small pool. Towels are available. Gym is big. Want to come here again one day.

The rooms are nice and staff is friendly. The reason I left this review is we heard it is convient to drop off your laundry at the hotel you are staying at. Not knowing the cost, we gave ours to the staff, and it came back cleaned and folded. My complaint is that it was almost 3, 000 baht. It came out to be 81 USD! We had 2 loads worth of laundry. In what world is that worth $81? If you do plan to stay here, do not have the hotel do your laundry.

Location near Maya Shopping Center No 7-11 don't believe the latex pillow sold at a nearby supermarket, etc. Please go to the regular manufacturers to buy the day hotel after the construction of the slightly noisy facilities old but clean and cost-effective general.

Very well equipped, but relatively old. However, adjacent to shopping, dining and the purchase is also very convenient.

Room was huge in comparison to other hotels and very nice. Bed was comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful especially when arranging transport for sightseeing. Booked online and got a very good rate. Hotel is ageing a bit but has a lot of character. Rooftop bar has got tremendous views. Clean and quiet, but with some renovations happening there is a little noise from time to time but not enough to bother. Good shopping centre across the road, Maya, with 2 good food courts. Hotel is close to the city centre and there are some interesting walks with good bars and restaurants close by. Look for Alexa Bar Soi 3, Nimmanhaemin Rd, about 5 mins walk.

Best value for the money. Larger room than other place in a better price. Location not far from night life street and many cool shops.

It was a big room nice view and pool but they were doing construction right next to my room… Hammers nails and drills at 8am. I go down to try to explain the rude awakening and they just want me to move rooms. No discount or trying to make things right without me having to pack up and leave. It is not what I paid fo.

As far as the hotel is actually quite OK, it is centrally located, has parking, two pools and a fitness room with equipment that even work. But what is not at all is the cleanliness! Not only our room, but also the whole rest of the hotel is not cleaned properly. Dusty surfaces are everywhere, even the elevators were dirty. Our room had to be cleaned again, which was dusty everywhere. Apparently the room has not been rented for weeks and also not cleaned. Pity I have to deduct two stars for it, but the cleanliness in a hotel is a very important point.

This hotel is not welcoming for a non-Chinese.
If you're not Chinese go your way.

Overall great customer service. But one of the pools seems to be constantly closed off due to maintainance. Also I had to contact staff to switch the sauna on every time I wanted to use it. Yet overall a good experience.

Big hotel with 2 pools, nice roof terrace and spacious rooms.

We booked a deluxe triple room and it's really, really good. So big and have 2 bedrooms, basically a well decorated apartment. Not that old as everybody say.

Big rooms, 1980s style. Seems to be undergoing some renovations now, which is probably warranted. Staff went out of their way to help when needed. Loved the rooftop pool and restaurant and the Maya mall is just across the road. Short walk to plenty of restaurants, bars and coffee shops.

Had high hopes from this hotel but from the moment we arrived everything went down hill. 1 — staff on check in were not welcoming (except the concierge) 2 — We didn't get the room that we asked for and when I went down to complain I was told they couldn't do anything because the hotel was fully booked. … 3 — Our room smelt really bad. 4 — When checking out the staff were giving my Thai girlfriend a really unfriendly look which made her uncomfortable. I definitely will not be returning to this hotel. I wouldn't even recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. If you're going to Chiang Mai DO NOT go to this hotel it will ruin your entire stay.

Breakfast buffet.

Very old a five-star, remember, is very old, old equipment, there is no disposable supplies, have to bring their own. The day is set to be very expensive, one or six days in advance, will be very cheap.

This review is for the Xanadu restaurant on the top of the hotel. The view is great, probably one of the best in Chiang Mai. Restaurant looks nice. Service started out well but later on in the night it was extremely difficult to get the wait staff's attention. Band was nice, playing a mixture of western and local songs but it was a little too loud and made conversation difficult. Food was great. All in all it was a nice experience but prices were also quite high so the value was average.

This hotel is situated in Chiang Mai as the name would tell you! About 20 minutes away from the airport. The staff is friendly and the rooms are nice and clean. Although the beds, at least in our room, were hard. The breakfast food is delicious and varied! Very enjoyable food!

So far my stay has been very nice. The staff are all very friendly and try to help as much as possible. I'm staying for 2 weeks for a religious convention and the rooms are nice. Everything is slightly worn around the edges but clean. The rooms nice with a good view of the city, but the beds aren't very comfortable. Mine was nice but my brother in laws was hard as a rock. The hallways have a strong smell from what I guess is cigarette smoke over the years. The pool on top is beautiful, and the restaurants look nice, though I haven't eaten there yet. And there is Wi-Fi.

Rooms are decent for the price. Pool is lovely. Restaurant isn't spectacular but close to many others. Service is always friendly and helpful.

Loved everything about Furama. The rooms are HUGE, no literally! The mini-bar and room service are just amazing. Very quite as it's — really — away from everything. I didn't like the elevator card though. I didn't see the purpose.

The rooms are big and spacious. Affordable price during low season. Near Maya mall and restaurant across the street. They have two pools but only one functioning during our time. A bit run down but nothing horrible.

Been here for academic conference. The venue was great albeit a little old. The sound system was not too good but the technicians were helpful. Food in the seminar was nice aand plenty. The hotel is accessible from the Chang Puek road through Hillside hotel.

Location. Low cost of living. Pool. Breakfast. The rest of the hotel is tired of hard jeksplkatacii. Yes, and who's going to take that mileage of the Sino-European diaspora. Well, who's going to without the claims in transit for 2-3 days.

Friendly staff, but everything is dated. And maybe it's because we got here on a Monday, but there are very few guests / employees around… The combined effect is that of a Scooby-Doo ghost town.

Only visited the rooftop bar which gives you an amazing view of the city on a clear night. Looks fancy but you can do casual.

Went to the rooftop restaurant and was shocked. 1. The reception girl was unfriendly and offered us a table on the other side of the restaurant, actually in the bar, saying that all tables were booked. We've checked 3 times during dinner and there where plenty of tables free 2. On the way to our "table" we had to pass through stuff area where it was smelling due to the rubbish they store there 3. There were 4 people on service sitting and chatting in the bar. We had to stand up to order new drinks… Just poor! Don't go there.

Tried the Singapore food which only left with 3 items, and all 3 item like chicken rice (rice, chicken and chilli taste really bad), prawn noodle (soup and white noodle taste bad, just try 1-2 spoon and left the 99% untouch) and pork soup taste (taste like 1 week old soup kept the fridge) so bad and is totally not related to Singapore food. Please try to improve on the taste and do not serve food that kept for many days, and also please do not use the name Singapore food if can't improve the taste, is really going to spoilt the name of Singapore with such horible food. : (: (: ( Was in Furama during the Singapore food fair which a Singaporean chief was send to cook and train the Thai staffs. But not after the chief left and we go back to try again, result is really so different. : (

A bit older hotel but reasonable renovated (although not all rooms). Located out of town and busy with big tour groups.

Very good large clean room. Hotel a can away from the mandatory taxi Center to move but there is a shopping mall just opposite. I recommend.
