Beautiful hotel in a fabulous location with wonderful staff and amazing facilities — could not rate it higher.

Very good service, all the staff are lovely, especially Mr. Ann. The hotel atmosphere is warm, the rooms are clean. The food was delicious. The full 10 is not broken at all.

The staff at Na Nirand absolutely make the whole experience perfect. They were all so friendly, welcoming and attentive during our entire stay. Everyone from the people at the front desk (especially P’Ann) to restaurant staff (especially N’Fluke) were all wonderful and made us feel welcome and special and they also upgrade the room for us. We booked the private dinner and it was perfect. The room was so comfy, the bathtub was amazing, We would definitely stay again. 🤍

This place is the best resort I have stayed at anywhere. The service, drinks, food, location, amenities, pool. Every last bit of appreciation needs to go to the team here. Big shout out to "Big" and "Art" who went every single last step to ensure our satisfaction. Also "Robert" the bell hop captain really cared about the rest of our 22 day journey and let us in on some secrets! THE FOOD THOUGH! Best breakfast we have had in the whole country. And the 100 year old tree!

Just loved the peace and quiet in a gorgeous setting. We both felt at peace here in the lovely gardens and beside the river. Our room was lovely — spacious and with all the right stuff, including a little gift each night which was sweet. Staff are amazing, keen enthusiastic and friendly. You’re super well situated here for the old town and the markets and so on. We will happily return — great food, reasonable bar (for a small hotel) and feels super luxurious.

An interesting and beautiful place to visit.

The Na Nirand was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The staff was extremely kind & helpful. They wanted you to have the best experience while in Chiang Mai. They recommended the local favorite spots to eat or visit and would help with transportation whenever needed. They knew you by name after the first day and you felt like friends by the time you left. The rooms are very spacious and extremely clean. They provide an endless amount of free water bottles in your room and out by the spa. The drinks at the pool and at the rooftop bar are delicious. Happy hour at the pool from 4-6 and then on the rooftop from 6-8. The breakfast at the restaurant was included in the stay and it was some of the best breakfast we have eaten. There was so much variety in the buffet, a new special every day and an egg / omelette bar. The fresh juices and jams were to die for. We only ate dinner at the restaurant once and wish we had more. The food was UNREAL! Hands down 5 stars all around.

I love its luxurious Lanna Thai style. It has its own unique character that is so pleasant.
It is located right in town; great location, excellent service, divine chef created food, the gardens and grounds are well kept and immaculate.

A hotel I fall in love with at first sight of the doorstep. It is a beautiful resort in colonial style yet more boutique and intimate than other chained ones, giving you the serene and discreet charm even you are still staying in the heart of Chiang Mai. I also like the design and cleanliness of the room, mini-bar food/ drinks are complimentary and they have bath tub and bath salt so you can wind down your day in a relaxing way. The glass house restaurant can be a popular spot on its own given its stylish design and the outdoor seat overseeing the river. We are lucky enough to receive a complimentary high tea with very generous portion. The majestic tree standing next to the resto is very charming. I strongly recommend this hotel!

A lovely boutique hotel! Doesn't quite have the grandeur of the likes of the nearby Anantara but this one has a more private and intimate setting. Clean and well maintained with HARNN toiletries. The restaurant has a lovely glasshouse design and was decorated with flowers and filled with natural light! I never got a chance to try the rooftop bar! Such a shame. The restaurant also has outdoor seating right by the river. The river view is nothing crazy amazing but overall very serene and a nice way to start a day if you are having breakfast at the hotel. Both service and food was good! We were lucky and received a complimentary afternoon tea set. Possibly because we booked through Expedia and it's an Expedia VIP hotel so you get extra well looked after. There is a massive tree that stands like a centre piece. Majestic and seems to hold a lot of stories! I would recommend!

It is actually a romantic boutique resort
I am highly impressed by the personalized service offered. Special appreciation for Ms Annie, Ms JJ, Ms Fye, Ms Lin. The architecture and interiors make this resort far different than conventional hotels. There is a feel like at home. The breakfast and food served is just mouth watering. The unmathchable hospitality will bring me back to this hotel and would recommed to all my dear and near ones.

Incredible intimate experience. The small size of the resort makes for a very personal experience. Coming home after our adventures was such a treat. At the end you know the whole staff and they know and CARE about you. Oh… and that tree is majestic.

Stayed here during Loi Krathong last year and had the most amazing time. Absolutely stunning service, location, and accomodations. The pictures look amazing and still don't do enough justice. Can't recommend splurging to stay here enough. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

I was going to write a separate review but realized I sort of already wrote about this place. Just copied and pasted from my blog: Na Nirand hotel's focal point is this 100 year old masterpiece of a tree drawing energy from the adjacent Ping River. If ever a tree reverberated a pulse, I see it in the core of this magnificent trunk rooted in the property's grounds. The tree is almost set into a stage, with the expectation that it will come alive, much like the ancient Ent creatures in Lord of the Rings assembling for an Entmoot. With a splaying canopy lending shade on a sweltering day, the tree provides a shelter for its guests as well as to hundreds of birds bringing to life an orchestra of silvery trills. It provides the sights and sounds for a perfect romantic getaway. A runway of a salt-water pool reminiscent of a pond runs through the resort. A river-side breakfast buffet was included in the hotel rate. The location of Na Nirand is unrivaled — tucked away for privacy but within walking distance of the famous night market and town. Took a gamble on this new resort that opened last fall, the returns were quite favorable. I can be found on IG under JourneyingWithTab for anymore recommendations. Nice and helpful staff and a breakfast/brunch buffet with many options. The turn down gifts every night are a nice and unexpected touch. I’m going to invest in some wonderful smelling jasmine after staying here. ;)

Très certainement L'un des plus beaux hôtels de Thaïlande, sans aucun doute, de Chiang Mai. Tout y est: personnel très professionnel, attentions permanentes, Chambres magnifiques, et une situation idéale bord de la rivière Ping. D'un calme absolu, l ' Hôtel est mitoyen à un wat, Na niran est absolument romantique. Bravo encore à l'ensemble du personnel et à la Direction pour cet accueil exemplaire et ce séjour unique.

Beautiful hotel by the river. The design of the hotel is humble and beautiful. The magnificent old and valuable tree is well preserved with so much positive energy irradiating from the tree. Convenient location, only 10 min away from airport by taxi. Around $200-300 baht ride. The bathroom is spacious and clean. The pool is a little bit too small but it's a good hang out place with friends and family. Highly recommended. We order an extra bed with no fuzz for 3 people stay. Friendly service!

It is just a small yard! Small room with no bath tub, although I did book a room with a tub. Service is also bad. Breakfast is awful with just a few to choose. No fresh juice, small dinning room to eat, you could easily not find a place to sit. The staff isn't nice. This is the most expensive hotel on this trip, way more expensive than Raddison which is a really nice hotel. The worst one during this travel! Never coming back again!

Nice hotel by the river. Room are nice decoration and new. But location is in small street which quite narrow so only recommend for small car or van. Their swimming pool is amazing and also restaurant with river view is very romantic.

I can only give and approve the restaurant quality food and service, Delicious with a standard gourmet restaurant dressing :) As or almost in France :)
Near the ping river you gonna enjoy your lunch or dinner in a charming place close to a more than 100 years Tree :)

This place is incredible. The staff is top notch. It feels like a getaway in the jungle, but you are in the city. About a 5 minute walk from the night market. I hope to stay here again.

The plus: Romantic, boutique, good service, the huge old tree in the middle and lovely location on the river. The minus: no spa and gym. Average food.

Spent 3 wonderful days at Na Nirand and I couldn't have better things to say about the hotel. Not only was the staff very helpful and nice, but the room itself was beautiful and the food was amazing. Everything about this hotel exceeding our expectations. The bar and restaurant area was beautiful, the giant tree made a perfect backdrop and the food was delicious. The hotel was located 5 minutes from the night market, which we enjoyed thoroughly. The staff was overly helpful and we could couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you!

Finally! I have found you on Google:) Na Nirand is very romantic resort. Their staffs are also professional and strongly service mind especially receptionist who take me a tour around the resort. We will arrange time to stay here next year for our anniversary. See you soon! :) Shana & Jackie.
