I think it was the best accommodation I ever experienced. If anyone is planning to travel to Chiangdao, I would definitely recommend this place.

We loved this place! The owners (mother and son) are lovely people. They give you great advices and make you feel at home. Great talks, great night around the campfire and such an amazing place surrounded by the mountains. We'll be back to go trekking for sure! Cheers :)

This is the best place my boyfriend and I have stayed on our whole trip. Oi and her son are the nicest people we have met. They went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. They picked us up from the bus stop when we arrived in chaing Dao and arranged a scooter so we could get a around the town. They made us food for a small fee on the first night and it was delicious. The cabin was basic but clean and beautiful with a comfy bed, various places to sit, toilet, shower, large fridge (with free water) and an amazing view of the mountain and jungle setting of the property. Oi made use breakfast each morning and even made us omelettes with bacon and vegetables as we don't like fried eggs. There was also two slices of toast each with butter and homemade jam. Tea, coffee, cocoa and bananas are all free. We loved sitting My the campfire every night talking to the owners and drinking beer. On our final night Oi made us a lovely meal of tom yum soup and Thai dessert. Before we left on our last day she even gave us sandwiches and fruit for the journey back to chaing Mai. If you are looking to book somewhere in Chiang Dao, book here! You won't regret it. We will definitely be back.

Disappointing stay. The grounds of this place is decent, not beautiful by any means, but it's green and quiet. The rooms were a different issue. I came here with a few friends and our beds were covered in big ants. Yes we're surrounded by nature, but even so it was unpleasant to have to share a bed with hundreds of insects. There wasn't really any food on the premise, just some soft drinks, coffee, and bananas. The breakfast they offer in the morning was basic. Wifi was only available in the "lobby" area. The electric sockets in the room were a bit old and not all of them worked. I would give them another star if not for the staff's shady behaviour. On each of the room keys there is a piece of wood attached as a key ring. Mine had chipped while it was in my possession without me causing any physical trauma to it (didn't drop it or anything). When I looked at the piece of wood I could see that there was wood glue on it, meaning that it had clearly broke before. The staff, when I checked out, asked for 200 baht for the little chip on the key ring. That's 1/3 of the price I paid for the room itself. I felt it was an extremely petty demand, especially when the wooden key ring was clearly shoddily made in the first place. My stay was okay overall, but there are plenty of other places around chiang dao that I would recommend over this place for better value and experience.

We had a very enjoyable stay here. The grounds were very nice, the rooms were great, and the service was awesome. The hosts were even nice enough to make us free snacks for our day out exploring and dropped us off at the bus station when we left. I would absolutely stay here again.

We had an excellent stay. Of the best in Thailand! Beautiful place, comfortable, quiet, surrounded by spectacular scenery. You can see the Chiang Dao in the front row. But above all things, both the owner and her son, are very attentive and helpful and are always awaiting the needs of the guests. The property is very spacious and there are many places to rest. The breakfasts are of the best we tried on all our trips! Again without hesitation!

The place is swai mak mak! Loved the setting in nature and the view of the mountain is amazing, specially in the morning! Recommend it to everyone who is looking for a nice relaxing place to stay in Chiang Dao.
