Nice place for family and friends. There are good relaxation and beautiful scenery. They also have kayak service and small swimming pool. It will be better if we stay for 2-3 days. May be next time.

Great location and best for active beach time with kayak and paddle board. Go for 3D2N package! including ferry roundtrip, all meals with tasting dishes and big portion. Valued package!

My family are really impressed by the staff here. While I was cayaking, my father accidentally dropped his phone into the sea. It was about 2m deep. A staff (MR. Yao) quickly came to rescue without us asking for help. He tried his best to find my father’s phone and never gave up. Finally he found the phone. He is an attentive staff and my father hope that he would have a successful job.

We came during the low season, so room rate is pretty good. Good location, good service. Food is good. Have free kayak and paddle board rental. Resort sits in the mouth of Khlong Chao waterfall. Great paddling with lots of mangrove.

Great place for food and drinks. Opportunity of playing pool, table football or darts in a sophisticated somewhat stylish atmosphere. Very easy going at the same time.

Nice and relaxing 3 water falls to see on island and much more we went on of season and a lot of the shops was closed good Thai food around the island would do again but at a different time.

Good service +Good place for take vacation… many activities to do. We can rent motorbike see around. For me drinks a little expensive and housekeeper doesn’t give refuse shampoo or conditioner.

We came here exactly on Songkran holiday so price was quite high. They have sufficient facilities, but the swimming pool should be considered childpool. But the restaurant is worth to try, good taste & nicely decorated.

Away is a good hotel to a reasonable price. I was here during Songkran for a few nights on koh kood. The staff is super nice and the activities rather budget so doing a snorkeling or fishing trip is highly recommended. Motos are cheap as well to explore the island on your own. The Songkran festivities were fun and the food specials were budget in comparison to the hotel restaurant. There is a very nice beach close to the hotel, but you have to either swim or take a free kayak to get there (40 meters). Wifi is free all over the place, but the internet connection is unreliable and super slow, close to unusable except for simple text messaging. The breakfast contained omelets, cereals, rice and noodle dishes, fruits and toast with ham, bacon, etc. The hotel is not new though. The wooden pathways and bungalows look charming, but some of the wooden frames and pathways are frail and few of them close to rotten. The rooms were very clean, but also ageing. The pool is very small and the water already turned a greenish yellow and smelled like pee, I don't wanna know how often this gets cleaned, but it can't be often enough. The water supply in the hotel is absolutely awful, the first time I used the tap water for cleaning teeth I had a gag reflex and almost vomited all over the bathroom. After over 12 weeks in Thailand and Cambodia (including a cheaper residence on Koh Kood) this is by far the worst tap water I've ever experienced.

Friendly staff, nice 2-level apartments, free kayaks to nearby beautiful beach, lots of little places to chill, easy walk to other restaurants & bars (nice food on-site but a little expensive like most resorts)

Typical hotel on the beach, large rooms with sea view. The staff are very friendly and attentive. "Same" will make you discover the riches of underwater funds aboard the Hotel boat… not to be missed under any circumstances!

Great place to get away and relax. The New years party for 2018 was absolutely fantastic. Great staff all around made this a really enjoyable experience.

Nice hotel with friendly staff, but a mouse inside our room ruined our experience. Trash management and cleaning should definitely be improved. Avoid the duplex rooms.

Nice Resort If you take the beach front. The bungalows in the last row are directly on the forest and have a significantly lower standard but are also significantly cheaper. Just a really small beach. The nearest beach is 2 minutes from the free kayak.

Very good service and personal helpful. Drinks are a little expensive. Give it a try.

Beautiful resort with lots of great amenities. Probably the best value for a mid tier resort on the island. Just wish it was not such a walk from everything.

Away Koh Kood resort is as the name describes, it is a nice getaway from everything. It sits right by the estuary so you can get the access to the river which goes right up to the waterfall and the sandy beaches across from the hotel. Right by Away's pier is also great for snorkeling. As the island is located far from civilization it is expected that not many amenities are available, the pool is very small but with the river and the ocean it would be a waste of time not to enjoy the natural environment. It's like Thailand 20 years ago — without minimarts or 7-elevens… Serene beaches, clear sea… a place worth recommending.

I fall in love with Away Koh Kood. I love the atmosphere and the staff so much. It's full of warmly welcome and everyone seem so care of each other. The resort is not that new. I spend my time on the activity; snorkeling, kayaking, and walking. The sea color itself is prettier if compare with South of Thailand. This place perfect for peaceful mind person and natural lover.

It's a lovely resort on first view good located with a nice maintained garden. Bungalows were good standard, unfortunately bad maintained and not matching with price which is called for accommodation. Resort itself has only limited beach access, but kajak's are available free of charge.

Hotel is well located and has a most friendly staff we've met during our trip to Thailand. Some of amenities could get an improvement but overall we had a really pleasant stay.

Is a nice hotel in the upper price segment. The breakfast and service are excellent and the hotel does not offer a pool.
Except for the relatively high price you can only note that the hotel does not have its own beach for swimming and you have to paddle about 100 meters to the beach by kayak.

Such a nice view and Sea breeze. The room itself is alright. The food here taste quite good but rather pricey. Fairly close to The Fisherman Hut so you can go there for dinner at reasonable price.

A great resort set on the beautiful, tranquil island of Koh Kood. We shared a duplex bungalow between four and enjoyed how private this part of the island felt. Wee joyed hiring motorcycles and exploring the island and in addition to this there are activities that can be enjoyed at the resort. The food and beverage at the resort is really good and fairly priced. We particularly enjoyed the mojitos for 180b in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was very good! The staff at the resort were all friendly and ensured we had a pleasant stay. Definitely recommend for a well-priced but luxurious stay on one of Thailand's LED's developed islands.
