Kama Siri Koh Kood Campground

I stay in the tent which is nice and clean with big bathroom. There are so many choices of breakfast. All are so yummy!

Great lady runs the place. She is super sweet. But the location is pretty remote. Even using the smaller, more direct road to the village is a long walk. I stayed in the more expensive bungalow not the tentlike rooms. Breakfast is basic but good. Other meals were brought in from another cafe/resort nearby.

The bungalow was not that bad altogether — efficient air conditioning, fan, bottled water, tea and a kettle. The owner very nice and communicative. The bungalow is however far away from everything. The nearest beach (very beautiful though) is 1, 5 km away. Bars 5-6 km away. You feel stranded there. I think the price is definitely too high for the value. Maybe if it included motorbike rental or breakfast the price would be fair. Otherwise I would recommend booking something closer to the beach or civilization.

Great guesthouse nicely maintained by the owners where to find themselves in calm and in nature takes its meaning. 5 fully equipped tents laid out in the forest for a nice experience other than hotel! The staff is great and the Manager explains to you from the outset the things to see and do. A little care for these guests! Possibility to rent a motobike for 250thb/day. Possibility to order food every hour. The breakfast was very good. Any other service also. The catch: voracious mosquitoes!

The lady who holds this guesthouse has only one idea in mind: to put her guests in the best possible conditions.
The reception is amazing, P'aoy and her husband are as nice as helpful.
We had a scooter accident requiring an operation on the island. I do not go into details, but it was a demonstration of kindness and dedication on the part of the islanders of Koh Kood and our guests in particular: accompaniment to the hospital, assistance for the negotiation of the material costs of repairing the Scooter…

Perfect place to stay in Koh Kood and great value for money! Rooms are clean, very good breakfast and absolutely lovely owners! They will give you all the tips you need to explore the island! Even if it is not on the beach you can easily go with motorbike everywhere! I don't give 5 because the owner did not explain to us that there would have been a pick up at the pier. We then rent a scooter not to pay the pick up thinking it was expensive. She then explained we had to rent the scooter there and until this no problems. 1 minutes before leaving she gives us the bill with an additional charge for the taxi (200 baht) that by chance is the exact amount we paid less for the motorbike rented somewhere else. (250baht per day instead of 300 for 4 days). I felt a bit cheated and I think this ruined a bit a stay that until that point was just perfect!

A truly wonderful place to stay while on Koh Kood!

A wonderful place to stay. The woman who works there is really helpful and friendly. The only downside is the location. Pretty far from the beach. But very close to the waterfalls which are really nice.

Absolutely amazing place! The ower made us feel like home as soon as we got there and showed us so many hidden places on the island that we would have never found without her help. She taught us how to cook and helped us with any problems and all of this in such a friendly way! The location is good and they also rent out scooters for a very reasonable price. Furthermore the breakfast as well as the coffee were amazing and although the place is a little bit inland there were no mosquitos at all. We stayed at the Koh Kood Resort for the first days and regretted that we didn't book Kama Siri at the first stage. Our Room was absolutely clean and in a really good shape. On top of that we got four pillows which made everything even more cozy. We hope to visit this beautiful Island as well as the Kama Siri soon again.

My family 5people stayed for 4nights. We had the great time. We stayed at th e vivid pink house (1unit). The house look great just as in the picture, large restroom very clean. There are kitchen outdoor and useful, refrigerator included. We rented motorbike to expore the island to bought some water and cooked the meal The key of this guest house is the owner, Kwang. She done many thing, you asked 1 her do 3 even you didn't ask for anything she will do things for your happiness. Kwang is amazing will turn your stay to paradise.

Nice, clean place conveniently located in the forest quite near some fantastic beaches (5 mins by bike you can hire there). Very nice and friendly lady manager and lady owner, excellent breakfast, hot water showers, clean and comfortable rooms and shower/toilets, access to Wi-Fi and computer, reasonable prices. Some rooms have fan, some have air-conditioning. Very nice place for a stay on this wonderful island. Try it!

Best place to stay on Koh Kood! Although it's not in the frontrow of the beaches but hidden in the jungle, Kama Siri has it's own charisma. Rein and her team give you the best advices to explore the island and it's most beautiful places and they give you a warm and hearty welcome I have never experienced in Thailand before.
Kama Siri is for me definetly the only place I would stay when going back to Koh Kood!

Stayed at this lovely little place a while back with my wife (who's Thai and knows the island well). Nice and clean and really friendly manager Jan, who makes you feel very welcome and will show you around the island, cook BBQ with you, etc. Its a bit of a trek from Bangkok but worth it if you have a few days spare. The island is nice and quiet with exceptional beaches. Wish we could have stayed longer!
