The original house on multiple floors of wood, is Completely surrounded by the green. Opposite 2 important temples and is 2 blocks from the night market. Very good. Or.

really cute old wooden house, right next to the ruins of the old palace but hidden in a back alley so very quite. Rooms are beautiful. Small breakfast included with bananas and coffee/tea.

All very nice! Temple facilities ideally within walking distance. Great staff. Water/Tee/coffee/fruit. Night market and restaurants around the corner.

Very nice and cosy place. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. Every room seems to be different with much love in every detail. You will get free cold drinking water and other stuff like bananas, tea etc. You also can buy cold drinks like Chang beer for THB 50. Standard room for €/$ 15 per night. Highly recommended.

A beautiful hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. The balcony is very nice to chill in the evening. Tamarind is located just a few steps from Wat Phra Mahathat.

It's a good place to stay for family. The house is structured by tree, so very old & comfort. The space & array are cozy & enough wide. Though outside sound is flowing over the wall. This is only bad thing.

Easily a top score in our book. Rooms are very nice and new, service it top and their advices gets you a long way! And the beds are good with good pillows and a very light duvet that is a very welcome addition! Nearest temple? Right across the street. Nearest cafeteria that serves brecfast? Just out to the left. Nearest (and biggest) night market? 5 minutes walk down the street. Next time we will stay here again!

We stayed in the family room. Very nice spacious room, excellent bathroom, well working aircon. The owners are friendly and help you find the nicest restaurants nearby. I will certainly come again.

We booked by reference of rating for guests after stayed. The room is wooden with beautiful decoration and we like it so much. Air conditioner, water heater, TV and fridge is available in room. The guesthouse provides free snacks e. G. Local pineapple biscuits and bananas at the corner outside the room. The hot water, coffees powder, hairdryer, sewing kits, pen and paper are available at the corner too. We can see there's place of chit chatting right outside our room and curtains need to put down if you need privacy. Basically there are not much people sitting outside to chit chat during the time we back to room so we don't feel any noise. Guesthouse provides good hospitality and the guy & lady taking care the reception counter during night is very helpful and sharing us lots information. We think they might be the owner of the guesthouse and they helped us to book a motorbike so we can use it early in the morning. The only comment is the toilet bowl might need to flush more than once to be cleaned. Breakfast is not available in the guesthouse but you can get the food (local food, cafe or night market) by very short walking distance. Price of the guesthouse is worth by the hospitality given. The guesthouse is located behind the shops at the main street which first time we couldn't find it during night time when we arrived. The famous Wat Mahathat and Wat Ratchanbunara are with short walking distance from guesthouse.

Beautiful guesthouse, very friendly staff, very clean, lovely bathroom with hot shower. Breakfast not included but free banana and coffee every morning, and they give suggestions on places to go for breakfast. They also provide you with a map of the city and suggest the best places to visit! We would have stayed longer if we could.

Great rooms with quirky features but all modern conveniences. Feels like you could be in a tiny Parisienne street. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location for lots of the ruins.

What a great place! Loved the wooden and tropical style to the place. The whole place has a nice vibe and its location couldn't be better — just across the historical Wat Mahathat. The rooms were super comfy and again loved the styling. The staff were very friendly and thoughtful. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Sukhothai to see the historical sites. Well done Tamarind, keep it up!

The accommodation is simple but quiet, comfortable and clean. The location is excellent as it's right across the road from some of the wat ruins. We stayed in the family room which had a double and a single bed (note: the single bed is elevated and may not be suitable for all children).

It is a nice guesthouse, directly in the house of the owner. Staff is very welcoming. Rooms are clean and provide air-conditioning. Sadly, as it is a typical thai house, the walls are really thin and not soundproof at all. Be ready to hear every single move of your neighbours. They provide free water, tea, coffee and fruits. Though, if you are looking for a night in an authentic thai house, go for it.

What a great place! I spent two nights at Tamarind and it was such a pleasant stay! The location is perfect, just across the street of the Wat Mahathat and only 3 min away from the night market. The rooms are clean, big and comfortable. The AC also works fine. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, their English is quite good too and there is always someone at the reception. All in all I had a great time at Tamarind and I definitely would stay there again!

Amaizing Place. The managers are very nice. The rooms are perfect, spacious and well maintained! There is free water every day and a small bar with sweets also free.
We loved it. We recommend!

Nice guesthouse, but something very bright. There's no breakfast at Coffe Old City.

Excellent Guest House
Very welcoming and very clean rooms.

They have a sense of service in this House and are very kind. No complaints. The rooms are modest but comfortable. And just next to a small restaurant the coffee Olds City will make you discover a delicious fried rice with shrimp. A marvel.
