Very beautiful hotel with beautiful virw! My room wasn’t air conditioned, but cool enough at night on the water. Right in the heart of town, a five minute walk away from the cemetery and 2 km from river Kwai Bridge. Very accessible to get to bus station and the night market there. Didn’t have flush toilets tho, just the pour-water-in-yourself ones. But they do give you towels and water!

View on the river, hard massage-like mattress and no flush (you drop water in manually). For some reason we still enjoyed our stay here, is probably the nice staff.

Nice cheap accommodation by the river with great terrace.

Nice little guest house with great views over the River Kwai.

Nice place to stay, lovely owners and just ouside is a bar named "get drunk with 10baht"

Third time here. Cheap and good. Bungalow on the river, for 450 rub. Rooms higher, from 1000 rub. Everything is in the centre of the tourist street.

Staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. The stop is convenient and located in a spot where is it easy to access food, shopping and get to other tourists spots. The places does not provide any soap or shampoo. Only downside.

Friendly staff. Rooms are basic but practical. The bed was hard and somewhat uncomfortable. The toilet in my single room did not have a cistern and required manual flushing. Air conditioning was good.

Very basic room, seemed clean enough. Room was just a fan room so it could get pretty humid. Toilet is flushed using a bucket — totally fine if you get that you get what you are paying for with this guesthouse, nice view over the river and watch out for the beds (like sleeping on a stone table) good for your posture I guess! But it's cheap and in a great part of town :)

We stayed on the one of the floating rooms for a couple of nights. The scenery of the river and mountains in the distance was gorgeous. Yet our room was very basic the toilet had no flush so you needed to use a bucket, there are lots of gaps in the floorboard straight down to the water below letting little lizards and a few bugs in. We also had problems with the switched and plugs which the staff tried to help resolve. We were suppose to have Wi-Fi in our room but we did not. In the communal area there was fast Wi-Fi and loads of chairs.

Only for low budget ok. +close to the river and bars/ restaurants — totally basic room which was very dirty — toilet and shower in one (no flush — do it on your own with water) — reception lady played loud music at late evening which was really disturbing -> ok if you have low standards, but can also get something better for your money.

Cheap and cheerful, not the cleanest place. Poor Wi-Fi, only in reception area. Had to complain about dirty linen. Ok for a night or two. Plenty of better stays in the area.

Is spent as a backpack tourist OK, 2 days.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The place is rather quiet (off the main street). The staff is pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed staying at the Tamarind guest house.

Location is overlooking the river. Bed in the room needed a new mattress. Room was basic.

The beds are like stones, but the place has very good views and more if you touch the rooms close to the river, very friendly staff. The price, in the line of Thailand, good, nice and cheap.

Great service and location Budget inn so you get what you pay for Hard beds but good shower and AC.

Beautiful rooms, very hard mattresses. Caution only American stekdosen. However, we have to get a multiple power outlet in the German plugs fit.

Location: on the Kwai River
Bungalow: clean, large with a terrace
(400Baht low season)
There is also what on the river! Staff: very friendly
Restaurant: closed
Conclusion: to explore ideal for 2-3 days to Kanchanaburi! Super markets, Restaurants, and pubs right on the street!

It's far from train station about 600m. I'm suggest you to walk. the street is full with restuarant and bar 2 side of the road. the guest house is low price with nice view. if you want to get lower price than walk in here, the agoda is good choice.
