I had 4 nights at the hotel and it was a pretty good experience. Pros: The pool, the service, and the river. For clarity: the breakfast is buffet style when they have a decent amount of guests and set meal when they have very few. It is quite good when done buffet style. Cons: The internet is a touch on the slow side, pretty expensive laundry service, no gym, and the exterior decor is an outright bizarre mix of the tasteful and the tasteless. All-in-all, I would recommend it. For me the pros outweigh the cons (love that pool).

Upon arrival the room was hardly cleaned, there were crumbs under the beds, hairs in the fridge and no toilet paper. Moreover the rooms were in poor condition, lightbulbs dangling in their sockets, toilet looks disgusting, the airconditioning rattles like it's about to take off and the beds are prehistoric. To top it off, the elevators are not available for guests.

Stayed in this hotel during a tour around Thailand. Pool and rooms are really outdated and in a bad condition (things were broke at the pool, dirty spots in the room and bathroom). Room was not at all cleaned when we arrived (hair and crumbs on the floor, no toilet paper…). Bathroom really old and a lot of mold on the tiles… The environment is beautiful (nature and next to the River Kwai) but the hotel didn't give me a good feeling at all.

Unforgettable. What a location, what massage, what swimming pool…

I would not visit this hotel again due to lack of cleanliness and power failure.

The best years already behind at breakfast is still air up.

Very nice place, relaxing and clean. The rooms are unfortunately not at the height of the outdoor decor! The common places except the restaurant are very beautiful especially the large swimming pool located near the river and surrounded by trees breakfast good but not varied staff not always very pleasant.

Hotel very old, Staff lazy, Breakfast is bad cheap salad no ham only egg, powder sauage and some Thai food is bad also, They have bike but we need to pay 40 b. /hr.
That is very stupid and drive us shit.

An idyll on the River Kwai, for those seeking peace and quiet and honeymoon.
Very remotely located and always hardly visited, at least in the
"Low Season" June, July and August.
I can't say anything about the interior of the hotel, rooms, etc. As a friend has a house in the complex.
Go swimming there for years, the pool is my favorite in Thailand.

Beautiful location but the rooms and hotel are in need of extensive renovations. The aircondition only works with the hotel key in the room which meant arriving in a 35c room and not being able to get the room cooler under 30c. The pool has lots of missing tiles. The food during dinnertime was ok during breakfast it was far below average.

The best days are long gone. Tiles break. Wood as well. Extremely loud air conditioning. Far off the shot anyway. No atm. Wi-Fi very slow. Could be an 80s US motel from the room …

One of the most beautiful places I've ever been to! The staff are very friendly and incredibly welcomimg. The food was to die for, the pool is stunning and there's even yoga.
