Positive: — Super location — nice rooftop terrace — could get our room directly at 8 a. M. Negative: — Ungegünstiges rooms — lay right in front of the public toilets — and on the way to the rooftop terrace (like two other rooms) — uncomfortable toilet smell in GA Supplement room — service mediocre — breakfast was only refilled when asked.

Great location, great service. Would stay again in bangkok.

Great view to relax and have a drink after visiting the royal palace. Opens at 5pm, come a little bit before to have the best spots.

Best location possible for visiting the temples, rooms large and comfortable, beautifully decorated. Amazing views from both restaurants (see pictures), nice breakfast. It's worth noting that part of Wat Pho is open 24h, and is beautifully lit, so definitely worth an after dinner walk. Only the entrance to the right from the hotel alleyway is open though.

Great location to see the temples, staff are are nice and helpful and rooms big and with air conditioning. The rooftop bar is excellent for a view of the surrounding. The area is very quiet at night so no noises but also no bars to go out.

Great price! Fantastic view. Wonderful staff! The breakfast in the morning was a great perk.

Pros: Location in the ‘civic’ centre Location/view opposite Night flower market down the road 50/50 Room was quite (ish), there was noise from the occasional boats, but after midnight these were fairly infrequent. Maybe noise from bar on top floor but as we were on lower floor, everything was reasonably quiet. Think I heard then pulling tables back into location around 1am Con: Not a great deal around the are at night Lane to the hotel is a little/secluded but I didn’t feel unsafe Taxi/uber may not want to come to the area for pickup as lots of congestion, especially now with other roads closed in the area…

Bad value for money (£4 for a small sparkling water) very slow service but the views from the roof top of Wat Arun and nice clean decor downstairs with friendly (if slow) staff.

Great view. The food and drinks at the rooftop bar are just ok. Staff was very nice.

In the restaurant Dorogovasto a in general GOOD.

Made friends with the young lady who serves breakfast after she ran into the door serving me tea. Everyone was extremely nice! They only verbally offer coffee and tea at breakfast, but they have an espresso machine. My mom had a cappuccino, and a latte. Absolutely gorgeous views of What Arun from our room, and it was cozy. I loved the slippers! They didn't seem to toss drinks that still had somthing left in them. If you want it tossed out, just pour out the contents. Close and easy access to the major attractions, What Pho, the Palace and What Arun. A little far away from the malls, and bars/rootop bars, but 2 blocks away from a river port that can get you headed where you want to go.

Great service and walking distance to all major temples and river. Beautiful river views. Very nice staff.

We stayed here for our honeymoon, and we were literally only able to sleep from 3am-6am. The roof bar is incredibly noisy, and even after the bar has closed the staff stomp up and down the stairs only 2 meters away from the hotel rooms taking glasses up and down to clean them. Staff were initially apologetic, but nothing had changed on the second night. Music was blaring from the breakfast area from 6am. We moved out of the hotel early as this was obviously negatively impacting our stay, and although the manager initially offered us a full refund, we are now having to battle them for our money back. This hotel really ruined our stay in Bangkok, and now is ruining our memories of our honeymoon. They did not provide the service we booked them for — a place we could sleep at night. Every room suffers from this lack of soundproofing as all of the bedroom are next to this staircase that leads to the roof bar. The suite would have been even worse as it is directly below the roof bar. Avoid like the plague if you actually want a good nights sleep.

We were here for dinner on the terrace. The place is actually called "bitter deck" and is in the hotel Sala Arun. On the roof is the roof top bar "Eagle's nest". The item specified in Google maps are wrong. Nice ambience, great views, good, very helpful but unobtrusive service. Food is very good. Tbone the local beef, red thuna thai salad, bbq beef skewer. Everything fine.
Right next to the Sala Arun hotel "Sala Rattanakosin", also with rooftop is bar and nice restaurant terrace on the river. Here, the atmosphere is more elegant, but casual. Very stylish! Top.

Exceptional view of Wat Arun. Tasty kitchen. Nice and relaxed setting. Booking is recommended to take advantage of the view from the terrace. Rather high prices. Poorly served (especially in the evening where the tuk-tuks are rare).

I asked an outside table. They told me there's inside only. Few minutes later, I saw some white people sitting outside, and many couples of white people came to. (and it's still empty inside) My friend asked the waiter "Is outside only for white people? " The answer was" you can sit outside but it's very hot" How could the response be different in just 20 minutes? Nothing to say, it's an awful meal though it tasted good.
