Very friendly staff clean hotel. Our family has been staying here for past 15 years every time they visit Bangkok with no complains.

Decent hotel with good buffet option. Meeting room was up to standard and service great.

Hotel on the edge of China town great for this area but a distance away from the tourist or business area. Well appointed hotel getting a little old but rooms comfortable. House cleaning service excellent, prompt, thorough and very efficient. Buffet breakfast good selection.

Facilities and most staff were great but we had an interaction with one staff member which was so horrible and hostile that I'm sorry we are unable to rate any higher than 1/5. The staff member I'm referring to is a concierge by the name of Chow; I requested a taxi to the airport after checking out and he told me the price was 600thb — more than double the amount we paid to take the exact same trip here in the first place. When I asked why this was, and told him that it was less than 250thb to get here he became very angry and told us that was the price we pay. After I said no thanks, I will order my own metered taxi he became even more hostile and nasty to us. Once my taxi arrived before leaving I tried to talk with him and shake his hand to reassure there were no hard feelings, and he simply pretended I was invisible, and completely ignored me talking with him and my outstretched hand. I have NEVER encountered such disrespect and open hostility in all of thailand, not even from the small guest houses let alone such a highly rated hotel. This is the height of disrespect in my (and most western) culture, and he is very lucky that he was not working in NZ when he did this as such an insult to respectful customers would be considered grounds for immediate dismissal.

Very nice room, pool, staff are polite. Not too far from khao San road. Room is big.

Great hotel, although a bit retro. Clean rooms, friendly staff. The swimming pool is also beautiful. Slightly moved north from central Bangkok, but in a dignified area, though with few amenities around. Desk x tours; taxi/van service; Room service and welcome.

Not too bad. Majority of staff were friendly. Hot breakfast buffet was cold each morning. Can make coffee at bar which was a bonus in Thailand! Rooms were clean and beds were firm as per usual in Thailand. Easy to get to markets and palace attractions via tuk tuk or taxi.

Nice place staff friendly helpful but everyday have to request for toothbrush. And no water spray at the toilet for those who don't use toilet paper. Good spread of breakfast items.

Beautiful, genteel and dignified. Price and Performance are definitely right here. A Place to relax and feel at home in the middle of this sometimes very hectic City. We particularly liked The Restaurant, where you can eat excellent food and be pampered all round by very attentive staff.

Very good central location. Friendly staff. Great restaurants. Compliments to chefs! Life music in the evenings. Rooms are a bit shabby. Were probably good 15 years ago. Need renovation. Carpets in the halls to be changed. Would give 3+ to the hotel using European rating. 5 stars to the restaurants. However, breakfast was tasteless. Go a-la-carte.

Depending on what you want to do. It’s a beautiful couples and family hotel. The excursions are over priced and I would advise you to shop around. They add as much as your willing to pay. I asked about a ride to Pattaya Beach… I got 3500 BAHT from the tour desk but stepped right outside and got 2000 from a taxi. So do not expect any loyalty or honesty from them. Low ball them and meet in the middle. The hotel has a great view of the city at distance. For that reason you’re actually far from the city and action or sites. You’ll have to rely on the Taxi and motor cart. Then your back to haggling for a fair price.

The rooms are average old, the pool is magnificent and the excellent care.

I had a room that looked over the rooftops and that was very well insulated! So no complaints on the quiet side! For the baggage service it was a little slow! It would have been better if we did it ourselves. Otherwise the Thais are very friendly and helpful and the food is varied!

Nice hotel. Great breakfast with Asian and European shares. Good Wi-Fi in the rooms. Coffee and cake priced. Good location. From the roof we had a nice view of the city.

A porter at the hotel offers excursions at excessive prices… don't stop in front of their little tourist stand. They're real thieves.

I came here for meeting and have lunch buffet here. So many dish selections. Japanese italian chinese and thai food. Taste and quality of service are very good.

Large spacious rooms, with all the facilities of a star hotel. It does not matter it is 2 or 3 KMS away from the busy shopping place. Recommend to all.

Very well located — even coming from the airport, the combination of train and taco is very good. Few places close to eat and breakfast.

This hotel is really like home. The rooms are spacious and clean. The furniture a bit old but still serves its purpose of comfortability. I like how the lighting is controllable by switches by the bed.

The hotels common areas are very nice and clean, the rooms (had a look at two) a bit run down but clean. Fair, but not awesome deal for the price. The area around features the Bobae market and two klong boat lines, but no mrt/sky train. Be aware that you will have to do most transportation with taxi/tuktuk.

Quiet Hotel. It's been a little bit over the years in the rooms. The restaurants are overpriced compared to other restaurants and often you sit alone.
The concierge crew is a bit of a challenge to us and sometimes intrusive. Where are you going? What are you doing? And the like when you order a taxi. If you only want to be near where, it takes forever until you order something. They always try to sell a tour and show a loss of pleasure if you have booked a trip elsewhere, and the pick up is 30 + minutes late. But this is the same with their tours.
Another one is very accommodating and polite.
Very nice masseuse and good massages.
In Thailand, English is difficult to understand, even if you want to make an effort and communicate.
We've been here for 12 days. The rooms are spacious. I had upgraded on Deluxe to have a balcony. I wanted to sit outside in the evening. Unfortunately, this is impossible. Mosquitoes! Anywhere. Thanks to the quiet location of the main road in the middle of many green and water (fountain and swimming pool).
All in all it is advisable to consider the transport routes. We've often used Uber. Are not many yet, but you bypass the taxis without meter and the tuk Tuks or know an approximate price and can then have a VB in the Tuk tuk accordingly. Otherwise you don't know how far something is and what it costs.

Excellent hotel in Bangkok at central location close to Royal palace and other tourist sites. Well equipped and tastful decoration this hotel is classy offering multiple in-house services, well appointed restaurants and good room service. Efficient staff and friendly service. The prices of the accommodating are adequate compared to the quality on offer. Highly recommended.

Cockroaches in the room. Bathrooms have black grime. Roof has watermarks. Our room door wouldn't shut unless you bang it. Our bathroom sink drain was clogged and no one came to fix it even though we called to ask for it to be serviced. We asked the concierge for help with a taxi/grab and he wouldn't even say more than two words. Wouldn't help us called for one or give any sort of information. The Wi-Fi in the room is terrible only works well in the lobby.

A pretty nice place to stay. Our room has a balcony faces the swimming pool. This hotel is pretty quiet, but not very convinced with public transportation. However, the hotel provides two shuttles to Khaosan road at 19:00 and to city public transportation at 11:00 and 14:00. The water that they provided is the best water that I have never tasted.

Very central to visit both the new part as the many temples of the city.

Great hotel for the price. Close to the UN complex and to the royal sightseeing, quiet area with authentic old Bangkok in the windows. Nice pool, decent restaurant, fine massage. A market with local take away food is 500 meters away.

From my experiences having seminar here for more than 6 times: it worth the money. Beware of food cleanliness. Seminar room and sound system are good. Concierge can be more helpful and polite.

Service is ok. My room was a bit smelly and stuffy. Breakfast was ridiculously expensive. Almost $16.

It's a nice hotel but the reason I only gave 3 stars is because of its location (I would prefer something closer to the centre) and the rooms while spacious could do with a little touch up so that it matches its exterior.

Amazing Hotel This place was great! Off season prices were excellent, staff was amazingly polite and friendly! Our room was very clean and housekeeper did a great job and even organized our shoes! EACH ROOM HAS ITS OWN Wi-Fi ROUTER! Although I would suggest asking the front desk to set security measures up on the router. One minor inconvenience was that the elevators are really small. Another minor inconvenience was that hot water came out both hot and cold taps. They made our stay convenient and pleasant. Hotel security made us feel very safe! And the restaurant near the front desk is really good. Didn't get to try the other two restaurants on the premises. I will definitely stay again next time I'm in Bangkok!

To advise… Quiet, quiet, excellent piano bar really deserves its stars 4 *

Lovely hotel with the best aircon we've had in all of Thailand! Staff very friendly, there wasn't any problem when we decided to stay for two more nights. Pool clean and very refreshing. We didn't try out the bar or restaurant as it was a bit too expensive for us. Massages also very expensive.

In 2 different days of staying in the hotel were all fine and well. Nice staffs and good ambiance. Also I broke 2 the same glasses in different days, nice welcoming myself by this coincidence, (of course it's my fault and I paid it, funny though~ hopefully I will be more careful next visit to avoid extra charges) Thank you kha~

Bad hotel without Wi-Fi! No breakfast in the package price! The night Porter totally unfriendly! Location is not ok but more too! After two days was the card not! Unlock again must! Still water free in the card write and still at the check-out per 45 baht cash bottle! The only good thing was the clean room! The people at the reception were hardly any English! Never again!

Good hotel, almost to the level of hotels Western Europe, even at the price it is not cheap. The restaurant is good and its price is adjusted. Good location but to go to the site of temples have to take taxi.

I stayed at Princess Larn Luang for six nights recently in October during an office training and really enjoyed the warm hospitality and good services. The hotel is clean, neat, and well-packaged, and their facilities are good enough for both budget and high-class stays. You can't really argue about the high rates of their food and drinks because they are a class hotel and if I'm not mistaken, the best hotel in that particular Pom Prab neighborhood. I'd love to come visit again. I do have one small complaint though — since English is a global language, it would be most helpful if the staff were just a little more competent in it. I enjoyed everything but trying to converse with the staff about any topic or detail was, to put it mildly, a struggle. If they could have some competent English-speaking people in their front desk, it would be perfect! Apart from that, their service and hospitality is splendid. I'd give the hotel an 8 out of 10, yes, I woud.
