The only downside to this place is the breakfast, but that's probably nitpicking, as it's still very decent. The beds are comfy, the Wi-Fi is strong and the staff are really friendly and helpful. It was a bit quiet when I went but that's likely due to it not being high season at the time, as I've been told it can get pretty lively here.

The location is perfect and the hostel is clean. Staff is really friendly.

Wow the best hostel I have stayed at in the last five weeks of my travels. Staff are so so lovely and helpful. The cleaners were very sufficient everything was spotless. The beds were comfy and really good air con. And best of all the breakfast! Very yummy. Overall D Hostel made my stay in Bangkok a great one. Grateful and left a happy customer. Excellent location! Friendly staff. The breakfast is so delicious and they kept everything so clean. I highly recommend. I was very comfortable here.

Receptionists are friendly and good in english. So you dont need to worry to speak about something. Big dining and reading space with a nice smoking zone. Bathrooms are ok but some tapes are broken. There should be an partition between two beds, unfortunately they only use a clothing screen. I think in here they can use a wooden partition. This is why I gave them 4 star otherwise it will be 5 star. The location is in a great place. You can move anywhere from this hostel.

It is very clean, the bathroom is spacious and the beds are comfortable, and the staff friendly. Just a little bit of noise as our room was side street, but nothing very nasty.

Just a great choice for an inexpensive, but clean and comfortable place to stay. Excellent location (walking distance to Khao San Road, Grand Palace), helpful 24hr front desk, clean, very decent free breakfast — — would def stay again.

A great hostel to chill out and away from the party scene at Khao San Road. 15 mins Walking distance to the Grand Palace and 10 mins Walking distance to Khao San road. Basic amenities included and spacious lockers!

I love this place. They always kept my room clean and made the bed. I stayed for 3 nights and the staffs were so helpful! Pretty sure I'd recommend it to friends.

The best place to stay in Bangkok! a few blocks away from khao san road, super friendly staff! I hope to be back someday!

D Hostel is one of the best hostel I have been. It`s amazing! Clean, safety good location, really good beds and bathroons, Wi-Fi works very well.

Great staff, excellent rooms, but the location is only close to khaosan road and the old bangkok. The train, bts, and metro line are all far away.

D hostel is great! Very clean, safe and sociable, close to everything, has friendly and helpful staff — all you need when in Bangkok. I highly recommend. Also, the breakfast was very nice and so was the Wi-Fi. AC worked perfectly and the beds were big and comfy.

Expensive if it is just for sleep. The room is not bed. Clean and comfy. Abit noise since its located at main road.

I'm Paul from South Korea. The room is a bit dirty. I saw cockroaches in my room : ( its tough to go to ur room as no elevator. safe deopsit at lobby doesnt look safe. However, its located at perfect place that u can reach Kaosan Road in a minute. Fridge works awesome, it almost freezed my mango juice.

Clean, modern hostel with friendly and accommodating staff. Lots of different nooks and crannies to chill in and meet other travellers, and there's two brand new iMacs in the lobby available for you to do work at or research or whatever. Rates are cheap too at around $6 a night. My only gripe is that there's just one washer and dryer, but there are places nearby who do laundry cheaper anyway.

We were extremely impressed with D Hostel. Comfy beds, fast Wi-Fi, delicious (free! ) breakfast food, and a prime location! Easy walking distance from the popular Kao San road and many temples and other tourist areas. Staff was friendly and there always seemed to be one person who spoke relatively good English. Showers and bathrooms were excellent, with soap and shampoo dispensers. Oh and this is one of the few hostels that had readily available computers and printers for guests to use! Honestly, I can't imagine staying anywhere else next time I'm in Bangkok.

I like this hostel, good in many ways. A little pricey, but, it is worth it.

It was a really nice place and you can meet there several people from other cultures. The place was nice, clean, I shared a dorm with girls. The people are so gentle. I didn't Luke Bangkok at all, but the hostel was really good though.

Location is da bomb, the facilities are hella good, and the beds? SOOOOOO FLUFFY. stay here.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it didn't disappoint me. Everything is clean — the room, the bathroom, the pantry and even the lobby. Free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, free use of desktop computer and free to interact with fellow travelers! Few minutes away from Khaosan Road, Grand Palace, Wat Po and other tourists attractions. The hostel staff are friendly and always ready to assist you. If I go back to Bangkok, I'll definitely choose this hostel again. 450 Thai Baht per night.

Nice hotel, very tasty and fast restaurant. Employees sometimes a bit annoyed but still I would go back. Central location but very quiet as it is in a kind of side street. Prices very good (675 bath/€18 for DZ with A/C and warm shower)
