I slept from Wednesday 12 to Sunday 16 February at the Bed Station Hostel Kahosan Road in Bangkok. Until Saturday morning everything was fine and I found the guest house perfect. But Saturday morning at 5:15 am I went to take my shower, I stupidly left my phone and my shower gear next to the sink. My shower lasted about five to 10 minutes. When I got out of the shower I realized that my phone was gone. Very quickly I got out of the bathroom. I heard noise in the women's bathroom which is next to the men's bathroom. There was a cleaning lady. Not speaking very good English I asked her where my phone was but she did not answer me so I went to reception. I explained the situation to the receptionist who made me watch the videos of surveillance camera where we see the cleaning lady who comes right after me in the shower. I heard someone come in, but I didn't think it was the cleaning lady. The surveillance video therefore shows that the only person who could have stolen my phone and the cleaning lady. After watching the surveillance camera videos I asked to call the police. They came but not absolutely nothing except searching my room to see if I was not lying and the bathroom in which I was. So they then left and I didn't hear from anyone. So I had to buy a phone.
I have the bill for my new phone as proof. I have no interest in creating this situation and lying. In the afternoon a friend told me to go to the tourist police, so I went there.
