A retro themed hostel — a student dorm in the past. Good for those you want to time travel in the 1900s. Situated between BTS stations' Phayathai and Victory Monument in modern part of Bangkok.

Cost effective. Hotels as relays can be recommended. It is close to BTS and can also be transferred to the Airport Express line. The traffic is OK. The room is very clean.

Nice concept hostel located close to the Phaya Thai BTS (5 minutes walk). We had to leave our shoes in the locker before entering the hostel and wear a custom pair of slippers given by the hostel. The room and the hostel was a bit dark for me and the ventilation is a bit of a problem. We booked a room but we had to use the common toilet and I liked the toiletries they provided in the toilet. There is also a small cafe in the hostel. The washing machine was not working when I visited.

Nyc budget friendly hotel. Would hav been better if our own slippers r allowed to our rooms.

This is a affordable hostel near victory monument and bts. It is clean and quite place. Better for 2 people or more so you can rent the room. There is a 24 hours 711 nearby.

Clean rooms, good price, friendly staff and good location.

I can't be more pleased with this hostel. It is short walk from Phaya Thai station, great if you are just getting off from the airport link. The design of the hotel is sleek modern Victorian — think brass fittings, wooden furniture, brown apothecary jars, chalkboards. Very karma kamet (a great scent store cum cafe in Bangkok). The neighbourhood is as local as it gets — a short walk towards Victory Monument and you can join the office crowd having their breakfast or grab a very local meal at the food court @ Century Plaza. My only ask is to have hooks to hang towels near the wash basins, and a mop handy, as the floors does get wet easily because the wash basins are so small. Oh, for the light sleepers, bring ear plugs along as the walls are rather thin. So saying, I would stay here again!

Near to bts and airport train. Quiet at night. A good place to rest. Great cafe at ground floor to spend a lazy day.

Old style design, generally excellent service in price range, like: great room size, gents bathroom clean (no idea ladies one ;), Internet speed enough to load HD movies no lag (the system next to the lockers looks too large for small hostel), great location (BTS and street food and 7eleven in 100m) Some small things I suggest to get better: more hanging in shower rooms (3 is not enough), lockers need a bit bigger, upgrade air conditioners (i know they still use able, but for someone would be noisy) and please, tell the guy at reception desk in the late evening (although he was nice and cute) two things: learn English and learn more something can help tourists. I asked 'how can I go to Pattaya' and his answer was 'go to Mo Chit station and ask someone' (he brought a map and showed me Mo Chit), second question was 'there are too many floating markets, which one you suggest', his answer was *a smile* (at least he smiled). Anyway, I liked him (open the door when I approached in late evening) and enjoy the time with Motley House Hostel. Will stay here every time I go to Bangkok.

Vintage design. Well kept place, from the moment you step to their door to your bed. From modern bangkok outside, you'll feel different inside hostel. Clean bathrooms and good Wi-Fi signal. No lift, so it may be tough for those who have big luggage. Friendly staff. The guy staff is cute hahaha.

If you looking for closed place between Airport Link and Soi Rangnam (King Power Place) here is also good choice.
